Chapter 10: Pouring rain

I was walking to the cafeteria to get my lunch until I heard some noise.
"Why did you come back? You shouldn't have come back. Now you'll face the consequences." The leader of the so-called 'The tooth faries' said. Her name is Toothiana*, but we all call her tooth. And her 'friends' are called baby tooth.
I went closer to see who was in the middle of their circle. What the?! Elsa?! What the heck!
She looked paler now compared to the last time I saw her. They were pushing her and saying mean things to her but she didn't fight back, she didn't even defend herself. She just let them push and insult her.
"Hey! Stop!" I said getting their attention. I walked towards them and saw Elsa so weak.
"Help." I heard her whisper and she suddenly fainted. I caught her right in time.
"What is wrong with you!" I yelled at Tooth. She looked a bit shocked. "Why did you do that?!" I said angrily. She still didn't answer. I scoffed.
"Forget about it." I said picking up Elsa bridal style and started walking to the clinic. They were all looking at us. I just gave them a glare and they minded their own business.
I noticed that Elsa is hot! Not hot like talking about her body alright? Her temperature is so high. I was like holding some metal that was left in an open fire.
She shouldn't have went to school. She knows what might happen to her but she went here anyway! This girl is sick! Literally!
"What happened to her?" The nurse asked.
"She fainted." I answered. The nurse put her hand to Elsa's forehead.
"She has a fever. Her temperature is so high. She needs plenty of rest." The nurse said. I nodded. I knew it!
"By any chance, do you happen to know the why she has a fever?" Ms. Fauna, the nurse, asked.
"She stayed at the rain too long." I said.
"How long?" She asked once more.
"About hours Mam." I replied.
"Young man." She called.
"Yes Mam?" I asked.
"You need to go to your class now. We can take care of her and call her parents to take her home. Thank you for taking her here." She said sweetly. Something in my head was saying that I should stay because this is all my fault.
"I can take her there. I know where she lives." I volunteered.
"Are you sure? You'll miss your classes." She said. I nodded and carried Elsa bridal style again. Good thing I was using mom's car.
-Time skip-
We arrived at the front of Elsa's gate and saw it closed.
"Mrs. Arendelle!" I called out. But no one answered. I called out over and over until their neighbor came out.
"Excuse me Maam, is Mrs. Arendelle here?" I asked the lady who was facing the back she turned around and I was surprised to see Mrs. Snow White. I didn't know she lives here.
"Why Jack! I haven't seen you for a while." She said walking to me. She knows me because she was once my teacher in home economics. She is great in baking.
"I'm terribly sorry, but Ingud is not here." She said. Ingud? Mrs. Arendelle's name is Ingud? Okay..... so, if No one is home, how will Elsa get in?
-Another time skip-
This is a bad idea. I am gonna regret this. I swear. I carried Elsa out of the care and into the house. MY HOUSE. I don't know where else to take her okay?!
"Aster*!" I called out to my brother*. (A/N: I'm gonna tell you what the asterisks are in the a/n)
"What?!" He said opening the door. He looked at me then Elsa then to me and to her again and he just did that again and again and again until he finally stops.
"Is she your girlfriend?" He asked pointing to Elsa. My eyes widened.
"No!" I yelled.
"No need to get defensive ya little twirp. Don't worry, I won't tell mom." He said. I laughed at his accent. He had Australian accent cause he grew up at Australia.
"What ever Easter Bunny!" I said and went straight to my room.
I laid her on my bed and put some blankets to her to keep her warm. I went outside and saw Sandy.
"Hi Sandy!" I said. He's mute so he uses sign language to communicate. All of us in my family knows that. Even though Sandy's mute he has a great talent at cooking. He was Mrs. White's favorite student.
"Sandy, can you help me cook some soup?" I asked. Soup was his specialty, and I heard that when someone is sick giving them soup will help on the healing process, I think. I never really paid attention in class. Sometimes I do, sometimes.
Sandy said he will be glad to help, we walked to the kitchen and started cooking.
Elsa
Where am I? That was the first thing that came to my mind since I woke up.
I'm in a wide room painted in white. The bed was so big it could fit three persons here. And it had dark blue bed sheets. This is definitely not my room.
I tilted my head and saw posters of different hokey players from different teams. (A/n: I'm not a hockey fan so I don't know any players nor teams. Forgive your crazy author! >_<) I don't have any posters in my room. And believe me my room is not THIS messy.
I removed the blankets covering my body and stood up.
Unluckily, I stumbled and the door opened in an instant revealing a white-haired guy holding a plate. He quickly set the plate down to a near table and ran to me. He helped me get up.
"What do you think you're doing?!" He scolded while he guided me to the bed. He held my shoulders and layed me down involuntarily.
"Jack." I said calmly and sat up. His face inches from mine. He's so close I can feel his breath.
"Yeah." He said looking at me in the eye.
"Why are you doing this?" I asked staring at his dark blue eyes. It seemed confused and worried at that time.
"I...." He suddenly backed away and started walking towards the door. I was left confused. The door slammed. I sighed and layed down.
Jack
I closed my eyes and sighed. What's happening to me? Why am I suddenly being nice to her?
I get it! I was just feeling guilty. I was just guilt-tripped. Yeah, guilt tripped.
I sat down to the couch and started to feel sleepy. I massaged my forehead and groaned.
"What seems to be bothering you?" I looked at who was talking and saw Elsa.
"What are you doing out of bed?" I glared.
"I..... got bored." She said sitting next to me.
"But you should be staying there." I said glaring at her again.
"I don't want to be left in there. It's creepy being alone in someone else's house." She argued. I smirk when I realized.
"You're scared aren't you?" I teased. She turned red. I laughed at her red face.
"Laugh all you want. I swear I am going to slap you." She warned. I stopped, but I couldn't help to laugh. Her face is hilarious. Then I felt my face stinging in pain.
That made me shut up for good. She started walking away.... towards the door.
"Elsa wait." I said catching up to her. But she was already outside. It would've been okay if the weather was fine. But it had to be raining.
"Wait!" I called out. She is seriously getting wet. And if her condition will get worst it would be my fault again.
"Elsa it's raining!" I yelled.
"It isn't that obvious isn't it?! I'm not that stupid to not realize!" She yelled back.
"Come on I'm serious." I said catching up. "It's not good for your health." I said while I was behind her. She faced me and looked at me in the eyes.
"When did you care?" She glared. I don't know what came over me but I just found myself hugging her.
"Let me go Jackson!" She said pushing me. My eyes widened. I heard a scream and saw Elsa holding her head.
