MIDNIGHT SERENADE

03:21, 29 December 2024

You stood at the balcony of your hotel room, gazing out at the glittering Shanghai skyline. The neon lights of the skyscrapers reflected off the Huangpu River, casting a kaleidoscope of colours across the water. It had been a long day of tennis, watching the Shanghai Masters unfold, and you were exhausted.

As you turned to head back inside, you noticed Alexander Zverev, the German tennis star, standing in the courtyard below, looking up at you with a charming smile. He was leaning against the railing, his eyes locked onto yours.

For a moment, you forgot to breathe. Sascha's smile was infectious, and you found yourself smiling back at him. He pushed off from the railing and walked over to the elevator, disappearing from view.

A few minutes later, there was a knock at your door. You opened it to find Sascha standing in the hallway, looking dashing in a black shirt and dark jeans. He flashed you a charming smile and said, "Hey, I saw you watching me from the balcony. I thought I'd come up and say hello."

You felt a flutter in your chest as you stepped aside to let him in. Sascha walked over to the window and gazed out at the view. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" he said, turning to you with a smile.

You nodded, feeling a little shy. "Yes, it is."

Sascha walked over to you and said, "I'm glad I came up. I was feeling a little restless after my match today."

You smiled, feeling a sense of ease with him. "I know how that feels," you said.

As you talked, you discovered that you had a lot in common, from your love of tennis to your passion for travel. The conversation flowed easily, and you found yourself laughing and feeling at ease in his presence.

As the night wore on, Sascha suggested going out for dinner. You agreed, and he took you to a cosy little restaurant tucked away in a quiet corner of the city.

Over dinner, Sascha proved to be a charming and engaging companion, regaling you with stories of his tennis career and his family. You found yourself laughing and feeling at ease in his presence.

As the night drew to a close, Sascha walked you back to your hotel room, his arm slung casually over your shoulder. You felt a sense of comfort and security in his presence, and you knew that you didn't want the night to end.

As you stood outside your room, Sascha turned to you and said, "I had a great time tonight. Would you like to do it again sometime?"

You smiled, feeling a flutter in your chest. "I'd love to," you replied, your voice barely above a whisper.

Sascha's eyes locked onto yours, and you felt a spark of electricity run through your body. "I'll hold you to that," he whispered, his lips brushing against yours in a soft, gentle kiss.

As you pulled back, gasping slightly for air, you knew that you were in trouble. You had fallen for Sascha, hard and fast, and you weren't sure if you would ever be able to let him go.
