Intoxicated

———This Story is set in 2020———

Leila Tate is ice-cold, untouchable, and in control—except when it comes to Marshall Mathers.

Dark, relentless, and dangerously magnetic, he tears through her defenses, igniting a fire neither of them can contain. Their chemistry is electric, their love toxic, and no matter how much it burns, they can't stay away.

Marshall is obsessed, drawn to the way Leila makes him unravel. She's addicted to the chaos he brings. Every touch is gasoline on the fire, every kiss another step closer to destruction.

They crave what's killing them.

Intoxicated is a story of obsession, addiction, and a love so powerful it leaves nothing but ashes behind.

Cast of Characters

Leila Tate

Fiercely independent, sharp, and emotionally untouchable. Leila grew up learning that love is dangerous, trust is a liability, and survival means staying in control. Raised by an older brother who had to become a parent too soon, she saw firsthand what sacrifice looked like. She doesn't need saving—she never has. But Marshall Mathers is the only man who has ever made her feel like she might lose that control, and that terrifies her more than anything.

Marshall Mathers

A rap icon built on pain, survival, and ruthless ambition. Marshall clawed his way out of poverty, addiction, and violence, learning early that vulnerability only leads to betrayal. He doesn't let people in, doesn't do emotional attachments, but Leila Tate is different. She's the only one who challenges him, the only one who sees him for who he really is—and that both draws him in and drives him insane.

Alec Tate

Leila's cousin, more like a brother. Grew up in the same struggle and turned to the streets to make sure their family had a fighting chance. He protects Leila at all costs and doesn't trust anyone with her—especially not Marshall.

Tommy Tate

Leila's older brother and the man who raised her. Forced into the role of provider when their parents disappeared into addiction, Tommy did whatever it took to keep Leila safe. His choices—and the sacrifices he made—shaped her into the woman she is today.

Monica Young

Marshall's assistant and one of the few people who knows how to handle him. Smart, no-nonsense, and always one step ahead. She sees more than she lets on.

Laura Black

Leila's best friend and voice of reason. A journalist who doesn't tolerate bullshit and always calls Leila out when she's running from her emotions. Knows Leila better than anyone.

Denaun Porter

Marshall's best friend and producer. A laid-back observer who watches the tension between Marshall and Leila unfold like a front-row seat to chaos. Enjoys the drama but knows when to step in.

Paul Rosenberg

Marshall's manager and the one who keeps his career from imploding. Knows Marshall's self-destructive tendencies better than anyone—and is wary of what Leila means for them.

Curtis Jackson (50 Cent)

A businessman, rapper, and strategist. Watches everything, says little, and always plays the long game. Stays out of Marshall's personal mess, unless it's entertaining.

Ryan Montgomery (Royce da 5'9")

Marshall's longtime friend and collaborator. Blunt, unfiltered, and never afraid to call Marshall out. He sees what's happening with Leila, but he's not getting involved.

Sherice Jackson (Leila's Mother)

A woman consumed by addiction. Drugs took everything from her—her body, her mind, and her children. She only turns up when she needs something, manipulating Leila's love to get what she wants. She will lie, steal, and prostitute herself for her next fix, and yet Leila still feels the weight of guilt every time she turns her away.

Lionel Tate (Leila's Father)

A violent, abusive man who left more scars than memories. He beat Sherice, neglected his children, and disappeared when they needed him most. His absence shaped Leila's view of men—they take, they hurt, and they always leave.

Also many more characters that I can't bother to face claim.
