Day 31- Under the same sky

Omo...I can't believe it's started to rain so soon. Wasn't it summer just yesterday?

Ah, time is flying so fast and my love for Jellal keeps growing but his love for me keeps getting obstructed by some evil magic power I cannot surpass!

I gotta do something before my hundred days deadline! I gotta make him mine no matter what!

Right then, speak of the devil, the store doors slid open and in came the love of my life.

I adjusted my hair a little and waved at him. He slightly raised his hand and walked over to the soda section.

Meanwhile, I waited for him to come.

"As always...he looks handsome today too...like, when doesn't he look handsome, huh?

"Ah...Think Erza! Think of blooming your love before the rain stops."

Promptly, Jellal placed his can of soda and a couple of snack bars on the belt. "Make it quick, I need to get home."

I nodded and expeditiously scanned his goods.Placing his items in the bag at once, I handed it over to him with a broad smile and with a twinkle in my eye.

He was about to give me the change but I stopped him, "It's free, only for you though, not for kids!"

He sighed but eventually placed the money in front of me, "You want your manager to kick you out the store for giving a guy free sodas and chocolates?" He scoffed and quickly left the store.

What was the hurry though? He could have at least talked to me for a bit...

Anyway, it's still raining and I forgot to bring my umbrella so I have no choice but to wait until it dies down.

A few hours later

And the rain is still pouring...

Why aren't there any umbrellas in this store anyway? I knew the manager didn't have any brains...isn't it his job to seasonally change the items? Gee...who even made him the manager?

That aside, what do I do now?

I can't call Mirajane or Freed or Gajeel because I am already indebted to them and I sure as hell don't want them to think I am helpless and good-for-nothing, so without further ado, I shall call the only person whom I think will me from the rain!

Another hour later

"And you're not indebted to me?" He annoyingly asked, "I'm the one who keeps helping you and  yet you don't think I think that you're a helpless and a good-for-nothing girl?"

"Jellal-Kun, why are you getting so hyped up? You're different than everyone." I pouted cutely.

We were under the same umbrella, we were under the same dark grey sky and we were together. Our arms slightly touching to each other, our feet moving in sync.

I didn't expect him to come pick me up though. I thought he would clearly decline my kind proposal but...he came.

"Uh...Fernandes, can I ask you something?"

"Shoot."

"Why did you come?"

"Instead of being grateful, you're asking me sum questions."

"N-no! I am truly, really grateful to you for coming! I was just asking cause I was curious! that's all."

"I don't answer such useless questions."

"Fine...don't answer it." I frowned.

We didn't talk much. He dropped me at my doorstep and left right away. Maybe, he's tired? Or he's yet to recover from his cold...

Ugh, why do I regret calling him?

But I had no choice...he was the only person on my mind...But he didn't complain.He didn't say anything.

Why?
