Chapter 4: Goodbye For Now

ILLUMI'S POV:

        Thoughts of leaving this place came to mind. You can't imagine how it is for me thinking that my time here is almost at an end. Knowing my father, Silva, it is probable that he already sent someone to search for me. Who knows? Maybe they already know where I truly am, they are just waiting for the right time to take me back. I have been checking our surroundings ever since. I always observe if something is not right or if a butler or a family member is close to us. I can't risk the twins getting hurt. Normally, I won't care for other people, but when I think about the twins, I can't think of killing them. 

      The time I spent here made me realize how much I loath that manor.

CHESHIRE'S POV:

       Illumi notified us about the situation and that he will be leaving soon. He stated that his father must be looking for him now. Although, I am not that surprised; Hisoka's words came to my mind... "someone is probably looking for him now" those are my brother's words.

     Three days had passed and the atmosphere between us is kind of blue and lonely. I don't know; usually I am used to being left by everyone. I can't understand why I am feeling this now. We have only interacted for like a few weeks and now that he is leaving us makes me kind of scared and nervous. I never imagined that I am the kind of person that gets nostalgic.

    A knock on a door was heard that instantly cleared my thoughts. I can already feel the bloodlust coming from the person outside. This is the person that his father sent huh? It probably thinks that we held Illumi hostage. I just hope that this will be okay so that we won't have a problem to solve. Hisoka attended to it, so by instinct I just followed him. We saw a decent looking man standing at the front door. What am I even expecting? Their bosses are world class assassins, number one at that. Their pay even as a servants must be overwhelming. All I can say is that 'world class people gets world class servants'. 

      I guess this is good bye then. I called Illumi from the small kitchen as we are having dinner when this servant came knocking on the door. He looks ready, with some of his things in hand, he approached the servant and talked to him. The servant kept on persuading him that they should go now since his parents are waiting. He then whispered something in his ear and the servant nodded and left. We thought that the servant left already and won't take Illumi anymore. Illumi then faced us and said something strange. His lines were, "Can we talk for a moment Cheshire? In private?" he asked. I don't know what kind of surprise this is, but still, I said yes.

Illumi's POV:

         I took her in the back of the house and looked at her in her dazzling eye. "Cheshire, I just want to thank you for saving me that day and for tending to me and my needs for the mean time. We have a life ahead of us, different paths that we needs to focus into. It might be long before we meet again, I'm sure that we'll cross paths in the future. Don't worry, I'll visit you whenever I can. Okay?" I said to her. "Hmm, Okay. Just take care of yourself." she answered. I can't imagine how my life would be if I don't get to see these twins again. I will miss them. 

      The butler came back and notified me that my stay here is over and we don't have the choice but to go. I looked deep into Cheshire's eyes and did what best I can do. I pulled her closer to me and held her soft cheeks. I kissed her. This is my good-bye.

"PLEASE REMEMBER ME" I muttered.
