3rd POV

After pulling the beaten Advisor up to his feet by the back of his coat and wrapping a cloth gag over his mouth, James made a small grin underneath his mask as he watched Dan and Josie fly away from the raided castle in a helicopter.

Advisor: Aren't you.....gonna kill me?

James: I will...but I think your death should be better seen as execution in front of the rest of the Resistance.

They both walked downstairs to the bar area where the ninja rebels are found treating their bullet wounds by wrapping them with bandages.

The female ninja rebel walked up to James.

Female Ninja Rebel: Where are Dan and the girl?

James: They got away. But it doesn't matter...we've got what we came for.

Female Ninja Rebel: Good. Let's get the hell back to the base...and you know, I really did like that girl.

James: More than Susan?

The ninja rebel punched James in the shoulder.

Female Ninja Rebel: Don't say that! I wouldn't even want to replace her! *looks down to her left sadly* I still wish she was here...

James: Sorry...ouch...

Note: They're both referring to the deceased ninja rebel, "the waitress". But it's not confirmed by Halfbrick or studio joho on what her real name is. So I decided to rename the waitress "Susan". Here she is in the image below...

R.I.P her...

Advisor: *muffled laughs*

Female Ninja Rebel: *kicks the Advisor hard in the balls* Shut up a**hole!

James: You'll be later getting a lot more than just a kick in the balls.

Meanwhile...

It was nighttime, the rain had already stopped and Dan and Josie had safely gotten back to the Inn.

Dan was sitting down on a small chair on the first floor staring at the fire in the fireplace, thinking about everything that had happened...he stormed the castle again, saved the villagers without the Geezers' help, spared the King, and took down King Resistance, and finally made it out with Josie alive.

But he still remembers what James told him; "The villagers back home wanted to have peace. Since you decided to help us raid this castle, they might see you and Josie as their enemies. I don't believe they'll call you their friends or heroes anymore."

It was a good thing he and Josie didn't get betrayed by James, but what's gonna happen the next day the villagers see the both of them? Are they both literally gonna regret giving up the Advisor or something?

Josie: Dan?

Dan looked back to see Josie standing by the stairs with a towel over her shoulders, presumably she dried herself off from the rain.

She walked towards Dan.

Josie: What's wrong?

Dan: *sigh* I chose to storm the castle with the ninja rebels instead of going in peace with the villagers. Now I don't know what will happen tomorrow.

Josie: Oh...uh...so you're saying things might not go back to normal?

Dan: Yes.

Josie: *sits down next to Dan* You know...I think I would say the same as well...the next thing I don't want is the villagers starting an angry mob on us. By the way, were you about to tell me something back at the castle?

Dan: Oh right...that time I ran away with Ana, was my biggest mistake out of every other one I made. After hanging with her, I learned that...none of what I do for myself matters. I don't deserve her or any other...guy or girl than you. You are everything to me and my life. I'm not gonna leave you again. That's also why I came back to life.

Josie: *silence* So why did you run away with her in the first place?

Dan: I thought she might be someone who...*blushes* well...I kinda thought she was different like me, no offense...it was true afterward, but she told me I should be better off with you. Not just as my girlfriend...but maybe as...my wife.

Josie cupped her hands over her mouth looking surprised and with tears welling in her eyes.

Josie: Dan...tell me she didn't say that!

Dan: She did. But...you don't have to if you don't want to. And believe me, if I ever do cheat on you a second time, I'd probably just throw myself off into the bottomless pit and decide not to come back to life.

Josie: Don't do that! *slaps his hand*

Dan: Okay! Okay! *chuckles*

Josie: You know...we just got reunited back at the castle. There's no way I'm gonna reject you. But there's also something I want to tell you.

Dan: What is that?

Josie: Remember our first night together?

Dan: Yeah...that...was my first time.

Josie: It was my first time too. But there's something you need to know about it.

Dan: What is it?

They stayed silent for a few seconds until Josie took a deep breath.

Josie: I'm pregnant.

Dan's eyes widened in surprise. He also gasped.

Josie: I wasn't ready to be a mother, but since a week had passed, I can't take the pill. So I'm gonna keep the baby. Are you okay with this?

Dan wasn't ready to be a father either, but rejecting Josie would break her heart again. He would even make a big d*** out of himself. But even now that Josie is pregnant with his child he can still get a chance to marry her and have a family with her. His life will be fully complete.

Dan: I am okay. If you want, I'll stay with you and help raise our baby. And like I said, I'm not gonna leave you again. *lays a hand on her belly*

Josie gasps and cups her hands over her mouth again, but this time tears were shedding from her eyes and to her cheeks.

Josie: Oh, Dan! *hugs him as she sobs happily*

Dan: *hugs her back* I love you, Josie.

Josie: I love you too, Dan.

A minute later, they put out the fireplace, turned off all the lights in the Inn, and went to sleep in their bedroom upstairs.
