YOONGI'S POV

I was waiting at the lounge when I saw Namjoon walking together with a nurse. I wonder what happened to Sora. Namjoon saw me so he thanked the nurse and went to sit beside me.

"So, what happened?" I asked him as he sat beside me.

"She collapsed because of fatigue," he said and sighed.

"And we got another homie getting hospitalized because of working too much" I commented which made him sigh again.

"why not take a break, she's pregnant and all" I suggested. "I told her that as well but she refused and said it's too early for a maternity leave" Namjoon looked stress because of the situation.

"You should have insisted though," I told him. "I was also busy about the investigation that I didn't properly take care of her" he confessed which made me shook my head. I know it, this is one of his flaws.

I sigh looking at my stressed fellow.

"Stop sighing, you're just making the situation stressful. You know, you keep worrying about others when you can't even take care of yourself" I said.

"What can I do, I'm a worrywart" he admitted. "Yeah, that's why Y/N didn't tell you because if she did, you will focus on her again. I think you haven't moved on from the past as well. Y/N is already a grown-up, you might be worried about leaving her alone but you're not really leaving her, it's just that you won't be able to do everything like before because you have something more important to do now"

He just stared at the floor.

"You have a wife and you are soon to be a father. You need to know your priorities. You might feel indifferent for now but it will be better, Y/N can't always depend on you as well and she knows that. So, she will understand. She will always understand. It's not only you and her now, you guys have gained a bigger family. So, she will understand if you will focus on your family now instead of always taking care of her like before"

Namjoon had been taking care of her like a real brother since they were kids so I can understand why he can't easily let go of the responsibility of being at Y/N's side. They are always together and you rarely see them separated unless they have their own appointments or school.

I even remembered him saying that he doesn't want to marry because he will take care of Y/N until he dies and it was ridiculous.

"I always thought that I need to be beside her, that she needs someone to lean on. I'm the only person she can play with. I don't know who I need to be and what should I do. I was always lonely when I was a kid. I'm alone and I don't have friends because of my father. But then, Y/N found me, offered me a hand, and played with me. She was smiling brightly at me. She always called me and talked to me. She called me her brother. The moment she called me that, my world becomes bearable. Even if I get scolded for being a failure or even if I'm bombarded with studies that a child shouldn't even study yet, I can cope up with it because I know that there is someone who is waiting for me, who needs for being me. Who needs a brother she can rely on.

Y/N relied on a failure like me calling me affectionately when even my parents don't. I thought it was her who needs someone to rely on but it's the other way around. I'm the one who needs her" Namjoon explained while clasping his hands. I didn't talk or commented, I just listened to him because I know this is what he needs.

"Without her calling me brother, without her asking me for help then I don't know what to do anymore. The reason I become like this was to support her well-being, even if it means not following my father's orders as long as I can make her smile and she will be safe. She made me feel that my existence is needed. I'm the one who's grown dependent on her"

I patted him at the back and I think I did it a little hard because he started coughing.

"What the heck Hyung? Why did you do that" he asked with an annoyed tone. I just chuckled and apologized to him.

"I'm just trying to comfort you" he looked at me with a hint of doubt. I felt De Ja Vu.

"Well, someone told me that's how you comfort a person who's down," I said and smirked. He stiffened and suddenly he smiled nervously.

"I thought you're a person who never holds grudges," he said.

"When did I said that" I smirked and he frowned on the other hand. "Anyways, now that you've gathered your thoughts, I assume you know what to do now" he nodded at my question but he still looked hesitant.

"If you're still unsure why don't you talked about it with Y/N although I know she would just have laughed at your unneeded affection and worries which you've been talking about," I said teasing him.

"I know that. The moment she introduced Sora to me, I know that she is telling me that she can manage on her own now. I'm the one who doesn't acknowledge the fact that she can live on without me being by her side all the time" this time, he smiled. Seeing him smile like that, I guess he finally sorted out his feelings.

"Keep yourself together soon to be father. It's only the beginning you know. From this point, it will only get tougher" I told him. He nodded and sigh.

"Are you going to stay here?" I asked and stand up.

"Yes, I will stay. I need to make sure that everything is fine" he said.

"Just message me if you need anything, I don't have work after all," I said. "Perks of having a vacation, I guess," he remarked and I just smirked at him.

"Well then, tell Sora if she wakes up to not overworked herself and relies on her husband who has a sister complex," I said and grins. Namjoon looked pissed. "As if I will tell her that" he rebutted.

"Though, I think Sora already knows that" I added to piss him even more. He glared at me which made me smirked.

"Just go home already," he said sounding pissed. I should retreat now before he snapped at me, so I waved my hand and started walking away.

Once I was out at the hospital, I open my phone and called Jimin's number.

"What's the problem Hyung?" he sounded busy. "What are you doing?" I asked.

"Working, I'm helping my friend at his mini restaurant" he answered. "Did I call at the wrong time?"

"No, I was about to take a break when you called" he answered.

"where are you by the way hyung? Hoseok hyung is here and he told me that you're not in your house when he went there earlier" Jimin asked.

"Hoseok? What is he doing here?" I asked in return. "Taking a vacation, he said" Jimin answered.

"Where are you guys?" I asked as I walked towards the parking lot. I just keep talking with Jimin until I reached my car.

"Then I'll be there in 20 minutes, save me a seat," I told him. "Just hurry up, there are many customers today," He said. I hang up the call and went inside my car. I started the engine and drove to the address Jimin sent to me.

As I wait for the traffic lights to go green, I noticed how gloomy the weather is.

"It won't be surprising if it will suddenly rain"

As soon as I said that, I noticed a droplet of water on my window shield.
