Hermione was working at a hardware store when she received a text from her mother, saying that her mother couldn't make it to her graduation as she was busy working at a grocery store, but her father Mr. Granger would be able to see her graduate which made Hermione half smile.

After texting her mother she went back to work when her manager Viktor Krum came over to her and asked her "Hermione, could you give me a hand out back?"

"Uh, yeah, yeah. I'll be right there." Hermione said to him as he nodded and left, Hermione walked by an aisle when suddenly, she got startled to find Draco standing there.

"I thought it was you." Draco said to her.

"What the...?" Hermione still startled as Draco smirked "What a pleasant surprise, Ms. Granger."

"Mione, just Hermione. You're in here." Hermione said in a gentle tone.

"I was in the area on business, needed to pick up a few things. Are you free?" Draco said to her.

"Yeah. What can I help you with?" She asked him.

"Do you stock cable ties?" Draco asked her as Hermione nodded "Cable ties, yes, we do. I can show you, if you want."

"Please, lead the way, Miss Granger." Draco spoke softly.

"Just Hermione." Hermione gently reminded him before taking him to the cable ties.

"Is that it?" Hermione asked him crossing her arms as Draco shook his head "No, masking tape.

"Are you redecorating?" Hermione asked him as she took Draco to the masking tapes.

"No." Draco shook his head.

"Um, we have two inch and one inch. But the truly self-respecting handyman will have both in his tool box." Hermione said to him.

"Of course he will." Draco said to her.

"It's rare to find a connoisseur these days. Do you want anything else?" Hermione asked him as Draco nodded his head "Yes, rope."

"Got it!" Hermione said as she was getting Draco some ropes as it made him impressed and asked her "That's impressive. Are you a girl scout?"

"Um, no. Organized group activities aren't really my thing." Hermione said sheepishly.

"So what is your thing?" Draco asked her.

"Um, I don't know. Books?" Hermione answered with a chuckle.

"Okay. Rope, tape, cable ties. You're the complete serial killer." She smirked.

"Not today." Draco teased her.

"Anything else?" Hermione asked him.

"What would you recommend?" Draco asked her.

"For a do-it-yourselfer? Um, maybe coveralls so you protect your clothes?" Hermione suggested.

"I could just take all my clothes off." Draco teased her as she smirked at him "Okay, no clothes. I mean, no coveralls. You...I can't really think of anything else."

"Well, I guess that's it then." Draco said.

"Cool." She said.
