Tina Told Him

Gene's p.o.v

   COURTNEY IS CRAZY!! Do you understand! She is crazy! Today I asked my dad to watch my kids so I could go relax. I sat near some water and watched the waves. Then out of nowhere, she pushed me into the water. 

   I rushed home and went upstairs." KIDS?" I yelled. I went into my room and the kids were sleeping on the bed. But my dad was still up." Dad, could you help me pack. I'm leaving." I told him." What do you mean you're leaving." I sighed." I don't feel safe when I'm here. Courtney is INSANE! And if I'm not safe neither are my kids." I told him." Maybe we'll come by after the reunion."

    "But the reunion's in twenty-three days. That's way too long!" I turned around and walked to my room. I grabbed my suitcase and packed my clothes. Then I packed the kids clothes. I dragged my suitcase down the stairs. Then, I went back up for the kids.

   I put them in the back seat and started driving.

   A few minutes after Courtney pushed me into the water in I called an old friend. And I'm gonna be staying at his house until the reunion.

   I continued to drive until I got to his house. The kids were still asleep so I left them in the car. I knocked on the door and saw him." Gene!" He shouted." Zeke!" I hugged him. We walked back to the car. I woke up the kids and he got our bags. After getting all the stuff we went back inside.

   "JJ, Eugenia!" Zeke shouted as he hugged them. Zeke was basically their uncle since he was just like a brother to me. He was always there for me. He was there when JJ was born and when we adopted Eugenia." The guest room's in the back. Make yourself at home." I dragged my suitcase as the kids followed. I went to the room then threw the suitcase on the bed. The kids got under the covers and went back to sleep. I went back downstairs to talk to Zeke.

   "So where's your daughter? You know, little Zoe." I asked." Zoe's at her mom's house this week." He reminded me." Ohhhhh! I forgot Zoe's mom was Jocelyn."

   "Yeah. By the way, tell Tina I said congratulations!" I was confused by what he said." Excuse me?" Zeke laughed." Tina texted me and told me she pregnant!"

   I wish I had a drink in my mouth so I could spit it out!" WHAT!!!" I pretended I had water to spit out!" Didn't she tell you? Oh." He got up and walked away.

   I can't believe Tina didn't tell me.
