Chapter 5

July 29th, Nymphia's birthday party, 2024.

Bagel and Nymphia parked in the garage of the house and got out of the car. They went inside of the house to go see the setup that Nymphia's drag daughters made for the party.

"Oh my god!" Nymphia yelled out of excitement. The house was decorated with lights, bowls for the food, there was a cocktail bar, it was amazing.

"So how do you like it?" Bagel said.

"I love it!" Nymphia screamed.

"Glad to hear that." Bagel giggled.

"Are those banana lights?" Nymphia said pointing to the lights hung around the large and open room.

"Yea, they were originally Christmas lights, but they looked great for the party." Bagel said.

"I love that!" Nymphia laughed.

Bagel and Nymphia toured around the house and talked about the plan.

"So we're gonna sing happy birthday and have cake by 8:20 pm right?" Bagel said.

"Yea and then after if anybody brought presents we'll open them and we'll party most of the night and get drunk." Nymphia said.

"Sounds good." Bagel said.

At 6:00 pm people stared to come in and talk to Nymphia.

"Hey girl!" Dawn said to Nymphia while hugging her.

"Hi!" Nymphia said hugging her back.

"I love the decorations!" Dawn said.

"Thank you! My daughters set them up." Nymphia said.

"That's so sweet!" Dawn said.

"While we're waiting for more people to arrive you can just talk and tour the place if you want." Nymphia said.

"Well I'm gonna talk to people now but I'll see you later!" Dawn said.

"See you later!" Nymphia replied.

More people came in such as Nymphia's friends, Rugirls from different seasons, Plane's drag sisters Atlas and Binx, and all the girls from season 16, except for one. Plane hadn't came yet, Nymphia stood in the main room of the house greeting and talking to people, she was thinking about Plane walking through that door, it would feel like a million little shining stars had just aligned, she would be so happy.

"Nymphia." Bagel said nudging Nymphia when no one was around.

"What's up?" Nymphia said.

"Is everyone here yet?" Bagel said.

"Yea almost. I'm just waiting for Plane and... yep just plane." Nymphia said slightly anxious.

"She will probably come soon, don't worry." Bagel said reassuringly.

"Yea." Nymphia replied.

"Don't get worried now she's gonna come." Nymphia thought in her mind.

Time passed and it was 7:30 pm. Plane hadn't came yet. Nymphia was looking and feeling very anxious, was Plane gonna come? She stood there in her party dress and red lipstick, looking around the room for Plane. People were talking and laughing and Plane was nowhere in sight. Atlas and Binx were talking and noticed Nymphia.

"Hey girl." Atlas whispered to Binx.

"What?" Binx replied quietly.

"Nymphia is looking nervous, should we go up to her and ask her what's wrong?" Atlas said. Binx glanced over at Nymphia. Something was clearly wrong.

"Yea let's go." Binx said.

Atlas and Binx went across the room to Nymphia.

"Hey Nymphia, are you okay?" Atlas whispered to Nymphia.

"Yea um.. can I tell you guys in the bathroom?" Nymphia said.

"Yea of course, let's go." Atlas said.

Binx and Atlas followed Nymphia down the hall into the bathroom.

"What's going on girl?" Binx said as Atlas closed the bathroom door.

"I feel like Plane isn't gonna come tonight. I can't find her anywhere, did she come with you guys?" Nymphia said. She was trying her best not to fall apart.

"Lemme call her and see if she's coming yet." Atlas said as she pulled out her phone from her bag and called Plane.

Plane didn't pick up.

She called a second time, Plane didn't pick up again.

Nymphia started to get a sinking feeling in her body.

"He said he'd be here." Nymphia said hopelessly.

"It's alright maybe she'll turn up, she might be late." Binx said.

"That's what Bagel said to me but it's later now and I'm getting more nervous." Nymphia said.

"Listen to me. Everything is gonna be alright. Sometimes she shows up late, but don't worry too much. It's your Birthday party!" Atlas said.

"Yeah, you're right." Nymphia replied.

"Have fun and drink!" Binx laughed.

They all laughed along.

"Thank you guys so much for talking to me." Nymphia said.

"Your welcome girl!" Atlas said.

"Yeah. And if you're still worried through the night talk to us anytime." Binx said.

"Alright, well let's go to the party out there and have fun!" Nymphia said somewhat relaxed.

They all went out of the bathroom and into the main room. While Binx and Atlas went to go chat more, Nymphia went over to Bagel to try and start a conversation to get things off her mind.

"Hey girl!" Nymphia said acting like she didn't almost start breakdown crying in the bathroom.

"Hey! Are you having fun?" Bagel said.

"Yea! It's 7:37 so we have a lot of party time before cake time." Nymphia said hopeful. She was still nervous about Plane not showing up, but no matter what the outcome was, she was hoping the party would at least go well.

"Yeah. Why did you go down the hall with Plane's drag sisters earlier?" Bagel said.

"Oh I just wanted to talk to them about something privately." Nymphia said trying not to make herself seem anxious.

"You sure you weren't having an orgy?" Bagel said sarcastically.

"Absolutely not!" Nymphia laughed.

"I'm joking. I already know who you like!" Bagel replied.

"Shut up!" Nymphia giggled.

"Oh come on, it's true!" Bagel said.

"Ok, but still shut up!" Nymphia said punching Bagel in the arm softly.

They both laughed and talked until 8:20 rolled around and it was time for cake.

"ATTENTION EVERYONE ITS TIME TO SING HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BIRTHDAY BITCH." Bagel yelled across the room from the table.

"Oh my god Bagel!" Nymphia said while laughing.

Everyone came to the table as Bagel went to go grab the cake with candles that spelled out 29.

When bagel put down the cake they all started sing happy birthday to Nymphia. While everyone stood around Nymphia singing happy birthday she came to pure awareness. That was the moment she knew, Plane wasn't coming.

"-Happy birthday to Nymphia! Happy birthday to you!" Everyone sung and Nymphia blew out her candles and everyone clapped. Nymphia smiled after to make it seem like everything was fine.

Nymphia opened gifts and then everyone started drinking and partying.

Amanda and Dawn came up to Nymphia as she's standing alone in the crowded room with a drink.

"Hi Nymphia!" Amanda said holding her second margarita of the night.

"Hi Amanda. Hi Dawn." Nymphia said.

"You having fun?" Dawn said.

"Um...yea!" Nymphia said, but in reality she felt useless.

"So what's up? How's life been?" Dawn said.

"Pretty good!" Nymphia replied.

"Have you been having fun with Plane? Your wifey!" Dawn giggled.

"Um...It's been good I guess." Nymphia said awkwardly. If there was one person she didn't wanna talk about in that moment, it would be Plane.

"Where even is she?" Amanda said sipping her margarita.

Nymphia paused for a moment.

"She..she's not here." Nymphia responded quietly.

"What do you mean?" Dawn said.

"She didn't come.." Nymphia said trying not to sob right there infront of them.

"Oh." Dawn and Amanda both said.

"I'm gonna go in the bathroom to touch up...I'll be right back." Nymphia said before she sprinted down the hallway into the bathroom.

Dawn and Amanda watched Nymphia sprint down the hallway with her drink and purse in hand.

"Well I'm gonna have another margarita. You wanna come with?" Amanda said.

"Of course!" Dawn said as they both ran to the bar.

Nymphia sprinted down the hallway and started sobbing. She got into the bathroom and shut the door. She put her hands on her eyes, sitting on the bathroom floor while hysterically crying. The person she was so excited for to be there did not come and it was her birthday. She had no clue why Plane didn't show up.

Nymphia weeped on the bathroom floor for 10 minutes and got up to look and the mirror and collect herself. Nymphia wiped the tears off her face and fixed her makeup so it wasn't obvious she cried. Then she picked up her purse and her drink and went out of the bathroom with a deadpan expression on her face. She went to the bar to go drink her sorrow away.

Everyone partied and drank until 2 in the morning. People called Ubers to pick them up or took their cars. Nymphia and Bagel waited for everyone to go.

"Do you got all your presents?" Bagel said.

"Yea~" Nymphia said drunkenly.

"Alright let's go." Bagel said.

They got home and Nymphia passed out on her bed. Even though she got drunk, she wouldn't forget the fact Plane hadn't came.
