Tweek

I groan as a familiar voice wakes me up. The sunrays are pushing through the boarded up windows in my small room. The person already left and I slowly stand up.Ugh, I need coffee.I dress myself and get down to what used to be the cafeteria. Most of our group is already up. Kyle Broflovski is giving out the breakfast rations. He smiles as I approach.„Good morning Tweek. Ready for the scouting today?", he asks while handing me my ration.I nod: „We're finally going to that abandoned rich distric right?"„Yeah. Were you not listening at the council meeting yesterday?", he looks at me chiding.I shrug: „I was a little lost in thoughts. Sorry, I just wanted to doublecheck."„It's alright. Here's your coffee for today. See you later.", he handed me a steaming cup and I made my way to my usual table. I slowly nibble on my ration while I wait for my two friends Leopold Stotch and Kenneth McCormick. After a few minutes they join me.„Heya Tweek, do you know what's on todays schedule? Eric wouldn't tell me.", Leo asks me.„We're scouting the rich district today. Gonna split in four groups, but don't worry you're both in mine alongside with Jason White and Kevin Stoley.", I tell them while sipping on my coffee.„Are we fixating on food or on money?", Kenny asks.„Both. We need the money for the black market. The food for the rations. I mean we're about what... uhm 20 people who are living here so yeah both things are essential."

After we finish the breakfast I go to my room and pack my backpack. As usual I pack a first aid kit in case someone gets hurt or we find survivors. With one last glance in my room I grab my backpack and go outside to meet with the others. Eric Cartman the main leader and council member is explaining our plan to everyone. „... I advise you to listen to your group leaders. Now here's which group will get which house. Kahl, your group will scout the Cranes house. Tweek, your group gets the Blacks house...", while Eric continues to tell everyone which house they get and how we'll proceed I look at the information sheet. Eric prepared them together with Wendyl Testaburger with all the knowledge they had.«Blacks: two adults, one child. Whereabouts: unknown. Status: adults deceased, child unknown.»Not as much information as I hoped. What if there would be any survivors. We need to be prepared.„...now come on everybody. Hurry up! Everyone get on the goddamn bus.", Eric exclaimed slowly turning red from anger because everyone was dawdling.As soon as everyone was loaded Henrietta Biggle starts the bus and drives us to the district.

I count my group and explain everyone in group how we are going to search the house. Kenny and Leo are going to search the second floor, Kevin and Jason the ground floor and I will search the basement. Since I am the leader of this group I wouldn't want anyone else to take that risk. We split up at the entrance of the house. It gives me the creeps. O feel like there's a presence here. Kenny and Leo head upstairs, Kevin and Jason into the kitchen. I slowly open the door to the basement it's pitchblack down there.„Hello?", I call but get no answer. My flashlight flickers on and only illuminates the steps in front of me.Calm down Tweek, I say to myself, you're a leader now, you need to get your shit together.I take a deep breath and walk slowly downstairs. At the end of the stairs I find a piece of paper. Something in an odd language is written on it I can't really decipher it. I fold it and put it in my backpack, maybe Wendyl or Kyle will know what it says. I take another step when suddenly I feel a sharp pain in my head. Darkness consumes me as I fall on the floor.
