Birthday Party

**WARNING: LONG CHAPTER**

"Mommy, when are we going to be there?" Mikey whined.

"Almost there baby, just ten more minutes." I sighed, exiting off the highway.

Mikey and I are going to Roman's daughter, Joelle's birthday party. Luckily I didn't have any house shows so I had two extra days with Mikey. Fortunately, Monday Night Raw is tomorrow so that means I have a reevaluation on my ankle to make sure I'm one hundred percent to wrestle. I'm supposed to be wrestling Summer the second to last match before the main event. If I'm not cleared, then Summer would be fighting Eva.

"Mommy." Mikey groaned. "I'm hungry."

"Do you want some pretzels?" I asked as I reached over into my purse in the passenger seat, pulling out a small baggie of pretzels.

"Yeah Mommy." Mikey reached his hands towards me so I handed him the pretzels and paid my attention back onto the road.

After about ten minutes later, I arrived at Roman's house and parked outside of his house. I turned off the car and got out, going to Mikey's side and unhooking him out of his seat.

"You wait for me, okay honey?" I asked and he nods as I grabbed onto his hand once he got out of the car.

We walked around to the passenger seat and I grabbed a gift bag for Joelle, my purse, and a thing of homemade chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Mikey and I walked up to the front door and Mikey rang the doorbell for me. A couple seconds later, the door opens and Galina is standing there.

"BK, Mikey, hello. It's been so long my god, come on in." Galina opened the door wider and Mikey and I walked in.

"I know it's been forever." I gave Galina a hug and she hugged me back. "Where's the birthday girl?"

"She's outside on the playground." Galina led us to the kitchen before taking my cookies and the gift bag. "I'll take these, thanks for offering to make the cookies."

"Not a problem, had nothing better to do so why not?" I chuckled and shrugged.

"Mommy, let's go outside." Mikey grabbed my hand, pulling me towards the sliding doors that lead outside in the kitchen.

"Give Galina a hug and kiss first." I let go of his hand and Mikey did what I told him to do.

"Come on Mommy." Mikey grabbed my hand again and began pulling me.

"Okay, okay I'm coming." I chuckled and opened the sliding doors, walking outside.

I always loved Roman and Galina's backyard. They have an in ground pool with a water slide, diving board, and waterfall. Their water is crystal clear and you could see the beautiful blue floor at the bottom of the pool. They have a trampoline and big playhouse for Joelle and her friends to play with. They have a beautiful garden in the back with a nice hammock and a small waterfall. Their backyard is like a vacation getaway if you ask me.

"BK, you're early." Roman walked over to me and gave me a hug.

I hugged him back, "Yeah I know, Mikey kept begging me to leave." I chuckled as Roman ruffled up Mikey's hair.

"How you doing bud? Giving Mommy a hard time?" Roman asked as Mikey giggled and shook his head.

"I'm a good boy for Mommy." Mikey hugged my side.

"Good because I have a gift for you. Want to know why?" Roman asked as he kneeled down to his height.

"Because you're a great godfather?" Mikey asked and I couldn't help but to chuckle, rubbing his back.

"Well that's one reason but the other reason is because I haven't seen you in so long. I haven't gotten a chance to spoil you." Roman smirked and I rolled my eyes.

"Trust me Roman, he's always being spoiled." I smiled down at Mikey and he stuck his tongue out at me.

"Hi BK and Mikey!" Someone said behind me so I turned around, seeing Joelle running up to us.

I smiled and kneeled down to her height as she ran into my arms, giving me a hug, "Happy birthday princess, missed you."

"Miss you too." Joelle smiled and pulled away before hugging Mikey. Mikey hugged her back as I stood up. "Daddy and I have a surprised for you. Do you want to see it Mikey?" Joelle pulled away as Mikey nodded.

"Let's go kiddos." Roman led them inside the house and I smiled, following after them. "Seth, my man. You made it."

I sighed, looking towards Roman to see he was doing a bro hug to Seth. Ugh, this is wonderful. I have to deal with Seth.

"Mommy, stranger danger." Mikey lifted his arms up to me so I picked him up, holding him.

"It's okay Mikey, don't be shy." I rubbed my hand on his back as he hid his face in my neck.

Seth walked up to me, "Hey BK. Who's this little man?"

"This is Mikey. Mikey, this is Seth Rollins." I looked down at him, seeing he was peeking an eye at Seth. "Don't be shy, say hi to him."

"Don't worry, I'm not going to bite." Seth gave him a warm smile.

Mikey lifted his head off of my shoulder, "Hi Seth." Seth smiled at him, holding a fist to him and to my surprise, Mikey fist bumped him.

"Mikey, come on, Daddy and I want to show you." Joelle tugged a little at Mikey's leg.

"Put me down Mommy." Mikey wiggled in my arms so I put him down on his feet before watching Joelle and Mikey take off out of the kitchen.

I looked at Seth, "So what are you doing here?"

"Roman invited me, duh." Seth chuckled and I rolled my eyes. "Is Dolph coming?"

"Not that I know of." I shrugged. "Why?"

"Just wondering, I've heard Roman invited a lot of people from work. I even think he invited Hunter's family and Shane's family." Seth shrugged.

"Oh cool." I nodded and gave him a small smile.

"Mommy!" Mikey yelled as he came running into the kitchen. "Look at what I got!" Mikey ran up to me and showed me an action figure of Roman. "Roman and Joelle gave me this. I always wanted this one."

I smiled, "That's awesome honey, did you thank Roman and Joelle?"

"Yeah, I gave them big hugs and kisses." Mikey smiled and turned to Seth, holding up his action figure to him. "Look at what I got."

"Wow, that's awesome. How about you show me how you play with it?" Seth asked and Mikey looked up at me.

"Can I Mommy?"

"Sure go right ahead." I fixed his hair, moving his hair out of his face.

"Come on Seth." Mikey grabbed onto Seth's hand, pulling him outside.

I'm surprised how fast Mikey opened up to Seth. He's a very shy boy and when it comes to meeting new people, he clings onto me the whole time. It takes him a couple of visits from the person to open up and start talking to them. Like with Roman and his family, it took him at least three to four visits from them to start opening up and playing with Joelle. This is the first time Mikey is meeting Seth and he's looking like he has known him all his life.

It's cute, but at the same time, it's odd.

I decided to join them outside, watching Mikey play with Seth. As more people started to show up and try to talk to Mikey, he would either cling onto me or Seth or the both of us. Joelle and some of her friends would come over to Mikey, Seth and I and play with us. When Mikey got a little comfortable around Joelle's friends, Joelle dragged him to the playground and Mikey asked Seth and I to go back there with him.

When the party came to an end at seven, I found Mikey sitting in Seth's lap in the living room, looking like he could fall asleep at any given moment. I walked over to the couch, sitting down next to Seth and rubbing Mikey's back.

"Are you ready to go home?" I asked and Mikey nodded, laying his head on Seth's shoulder.

"Can Seth sleepover?" Mikey asked.

"I don't think Seth would wa--"

"If it's okay with your Mommy, then yes I would love to sleepover." Seth smiled down at Mikey and Mikey looked at me, giving me his puppy eyes I could never say no to.

"Please Mommy?" Mikey begged and I sighed, nodding.

"Fine, but Seth is sleeping in the guest room." I smiled when Mikey hugged Seth tightly.

"We're going to have so much fun tomorrow Seth." Mikey giggled as I stood up off the couch.

"Don't forget you have school tomorrow honey, you could play with Seth a little bit in the morning." I kissed the top of Mikey's head before grabbing his shoes off the floor, putting them on his feet.

Mikey groaned, "I want to stay home please Mommy."

I went to talk but Seth interrupted me, "You need your education. How about this, I will come home with your Mommy on Wednesday and we could play all day with each other if Mommy is okay with me coming. How does that sound?"

"Mommy." Mikey looked at me. "Can he come on Wednesday?"

I nodded, "Sure, but that means you can't give me a hard time tomorrow morning about going to school."

"Deal." Mikey looked at Seth and began playing with his hair.

I finished putting his shoes on before grabbing his action figure of Roman, putting it in my purse.

Seth stood up while holding Mikey as we went around saying our goodbyes to co-workers and Roman's family. After we were done, we walked out to my car and Seth hooked Mikey into his car seat for me.

"Do you need a ride or are you going to follow me?" I asked Seth after shutting Mikey's door.

"I need a ride, I took an uber here. Want me to drive?" Seth offered and I shook my head.

"I got it. Do I need to stop at a hotel for you to get your stuff?" I asked and he nodded.

"Yeah, do you mind?" Seth asked and I shook my head, walking to the driver's side and opening the door.

"Just direct me to your hotel." I got into the car as Seth got into the passenger's seat.

I started the car, beginning to drive to Seth's hotel as he gave me the directions to get there.

Whoa. Mikey really seems to like Seth, interesting.
