Opposites
16:37, 14 December 2019Lan Sizhui was always a serious but approachable person. Lan Jingyi, on the other hand, is a lazy and noisy person. One was a role model, while the other is a major complainant. However, they mysteriously get along well, which puzzled many people.
For example –
“The heart mirrors our thoughts. The eyes shows our soul. One must have a clear mind and kind heart…” Lan Qiren said, a book in one hand while his other hand is on his back as he walked around the Orchid room where the class is held. “One must be earnest and sincere. One cannot degrade and be evil harboring malicious thoughts. One shouldn’t neglect duties as laziness begets sins.” He said and closed the book. Then, he swung it and hit Lan Jingyi’s head that’s drooping because of sleepiness.
“OWW!” Lan Jingyi cried, his pained voice echoing in the walls of the silent room, breaking the tranquility inside.
A vein popped in Lan Qiren’s forehead, his hand itching to hit the teenager again. Lan Jingyi paused, holding his forehead that was red. He finally realized what had happened. “Senior… Lan…” Lan Jingyi feebly called as he slowly scuttled on his back, escaping towards Lan Sizhui who, in total contrast to Lan Jingyi, is earnestly writing on his paper. His movement fluid and elegant as he write using his paintbrush. Every stroke is delicate and beautiful.
Lan Qiren’s eyebrow twitched as he looked at his two totally opposite students. They were raised in a similar manner, ye how can they grow up very differently?
“You copy our clan’s rules five times after the class!” he roared and then dismissed the whole class.
Lan Jingyi tearlessly cried, his suffering can be seen on his face. He turned to Lan Sizhui, he looked pitiful. “Sizhui…” he called.
Lan Sizhui chuckled as he put down his brush and turned to Lan Jingyi whose eyes are welled up. Lan Sizhui raised his hand and gently rubbed Lan Jingyi’s red forehead. Then he took an ointment and rubbed it to the inflamed red skin. “You only reap what you sow.” He kindly advised as he applied medicine. “You should seriously listen next time.” He told him.
“Yes…” Lan Jingyi dispiritedly answered.
The students who still hasn’t let saw this scene and can’t help but be struck. What are those pink bubbles we are seeing?! Are we going blind now?! They thought as they quietly left not to break the peaceful atmosphere between the two. Now they know how can the two get along well. It’s because the other causes trouble and invites danger while the other is kind and helpful!
(A/N: aren’t ZhuiYi cute? Zhuizhui is a gentle but secretly black bellied gong while Jingyi is a cute and stupid shou!)
