Destiny's Private

Maddie's POVWait, what?! Wait a minute, it's just a stupid private. Abby does that all the time. I'm overreacting. Are you calm Maddie? Yes? Good. Then let's just take a peek at what she's doing, then we leave. So I slightly move my head above the seats to see Destiny working on her switch firebird leap (Google it...I had to also lol). She was really good, I took one last look then forced my head back behind the seats. I started for the stairs down when I heard the one voice I didn't want to hear."Madison, what were you doing up there." my mom asked. She's gonna be mad..."Mom," I started. "I was looking at studio A" "Why?" "Destiny's having a private. I was curious why Miss Abby wanted to make her stay after solo practice." "A private?" "Yes mom. Now let's just go..." It took a minute to comprehend what I said but then she finally answered, but not without a sigh. "Fine, let's go to the car. Mackenzie's already there." Abby's POVI was teaching Destiny some new leaps and turns. Out of the corner of my eye, I thought I saw something peeking over seats where the moms usually are. I shrugged it off, I was probably just imagining things. "Ok, your gonna brush your left leg against your right. I stood up, and helped her into get into position. "So, go into a deep plié (a movement where a dancer bends their knees and straightens them again) then brush your left leg and then kick it back behind it into your firebird. Your right leg is going to help you jump into the leap after your left leg goes backwards. She did as I said, "Perfect. Do it again, this time take two steps then go into plié into your leap." She does it once and gets close. "I see you had a little trouble, try it. If you have problem take it slow. I know you can do it." She tries it again, taking it slowly and nails it. "Good job. Ok I think that's all the time we have for today. We can always work again tomorrow." I have no problem working with Destiny, she learns very quickly and doesn't talk back. She's like a gift sent from the dance gods. I'm starting to really like her...
