Chapter 31 

Uraraka POV

"We're officially dating."

The whole class went into a state of shock. Some jaws hang open, some started squealing, I don't know if it's from fear or excitement, while I just stood there smiling.

"I did not see that coming." Kaminari-kun started.

"Is this real?" Mineta-kun seconded slumping back on his chair with his palm on his face.

"How did it happen?!" Mina-chi exclaimed.

"Maybe we should let them speak." Iida-kun said, halting everyone to have further comments.

"It must've been the training camp, you two were always together." Jiro-chan suggested.

"Well, everyone was with everyone that time." Sero-kun added.

"It's the game isn't it?" Mineta-kun said while wiggling his eyebrows.

"I think we should just be happy for them." Tokoyami-kun responded.

"But you got to spill something!" Toru-chan squeals from behind.

Everyone was just so invested on this news flash. It was unexpected after all. The day was just going as normal as it was. Class started, we took notes, we took quizzes we didn't want to take, and we had assignments that we tried to keep from Iida-kun to spill to our teachers but still ended up doing so. Then when the bell rang, Todoroki-kun stood from his chair grabbed Momo-chan's hand and announced it just as immediately. I couldn't help but be happy for them. After all, us girls knew that Momo-chan had a certain crush on the half half boy. And it finally happened for them.

"Well... uhmm... how do I start?" Momo-chan finally said, looking down at the ground blushing intensively.

"I asked her out after the game. Then it just went from there." Todoroki-kun said in his monotone demeanor.

"So how did you know you liked her?" Kaminari-kun said while slumping his arm on his shoulder.

"I always did like her after all, so it wasn't hard to follow from there." That earned a deeper hint of blush from Momo-chan.

"Aaaargggghhhh!! Lucky!!" Mineta-kun was now scratching his head and screaming.

"SHUT UP GRAPE! GO FIND YOUR OWN FRUITS!" Bakugo-kun interrupts from behind.

"Oh yeah!" now glitter was coming from his eyes, "I never have to worry, because I'm pretty sure the last person who is ever going to find someone would be you Bakugo-kun. Thanks for that!"

Bakugo-kun just gave him a low growl, and slumped back on his chair.

"Congratulations to you two." Deku-kun said to Todoroki-kun, just like that all our attention went back to the newly formed couple.

"Thanks Midoriya, it's because you told me to be honest after all." Todoroki-kun tightens his grip to Momo-chan that she just gave him a smile and moved closer to him.

At the sides, it seems like some of the boys are betting on something.

"3 months, this one seems to a good pair." Kirishima-kun started.

"You're too optimistic red head, Deku and Uraraka was good but it didn't take that long... 2 WEEKS!" Kaminari seconded.

"Pfft... you don't know how relationships work. 5 months!" Mineta-kun blasted.

"What do you guys think you're doing?!" Now Momo-chan was behind them and started smacking their heads.

That sight made me snort a laughter.

Momo-chan made her way to me with a worried look. "Sorry about that Uraraka-chan."

"What are you talking about? There's nothing to be sorry about." Waving my hand in front of her.

"Your breakup was just so unexpected 2 weeks ago that people started to make jokes about it."

"Really it's no trouble!" rubbing the nape of my neck. "After all I also find it funny, it was unexpected for me too after all. And congratulations Momo-chan, you deserve it." Grinning at her.

"Thank you Uraraka-chan. And I know someone out there will absolutely make you happy too." Smiling back at me.

"Yeah."

It was finally 10pm and I got down the lobby. Noticing the refrigerator light, I didn't bother opening up the lights. I grabbed a can of juice inside and noticed that my favorite blonde was leaning at the side of the refrigerator.

"That was unexpected. I didn't think half and half had it in him." Gulping his drink down.

"Yeah, I just felt happy for Momo-chan." Letting out a giggle.

"What did that girl see in him?" squinting his eyes.

"You're one to talk!" thumping his stomach slightly. "Todoroki-kun is really cute after all, and he's kind." Slipping out a tongue at him.

"HUH?! I don't get your taste of men." Bakugo groaned.

"Well, I think my taste in men isn't that reliable, after all you're not cute." Pouting at him.

"HUH???!! WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN PINK FACE??" growling at me.

I let out a giggle and just embraced him in his waist. "I know you find me cute though." Placing my head in his chest.

"Tsk. Whatever." And held me by the waist as well, his chin at the top of my head.

Then we were covered by a buzz that comes from the refrigerator, telling us that we should probably close it soon, but in nowhere near on doing so. Slowly he started swaying us smoothly.

"Wasn't it like this when you asked me to tutor you?" he whispered.

"Yeah, you were captivating that night."

"I know."

That earned him another thump on the back this time, and he just lets out a snicker.

"Your room or my room?" he suggested, still swaying us on the beat of the buzz.

"My room." Looking at him sheepishly, "I didn't really get my things, and I don't want to be going back around." Pleading with my eyes.

"And you want me to?" raising one of his eyebrows.

"Pleeeaassee!! I'll make you sandwiches again." Grinning at him widely.

"Tsk. Thank your God you're cute." Looking sideways.

"Yehey!" hugging him tighter. "I promise not to sleep halfway you're explaining Newton's Theory." Burying my head in his arms.

"Alright, alright."

"So, how did it go?" Iida-kun said looking back at me.

"How did what go?" squinting my eyes.

"Your decision." Leaning his head on the backrest.

"Ah, pretty good actually." I rested my head on my right hand and looked at Bakugo-kun from afar. He was reading, then writing, then just crumpling the paper. I let out a slight giggle. "Best decision."

I glanced back to Iida-kun and he was smiling at me. "Good."

Exam week is finally here and Bakugo of course has been helping me out all throughout. It gave me an excuse to spend more time with him so studying wasn't that hard, until he had to repeat something again so he ends up yelling at me, which ends up for me to start apologizing. It was our little cycle but then he surprises me with an ice cream in the middle of the night and I know all is well with us. It was just how we are after all.

Today he made me coffee before we headed to class. It was a little surprising because I've never seen him make one before, and he was unexpectedly good at it. Can't he be bad at something for once? The moment I shifted from my bed, he immediately notices me and laid down the mug at my desk.

"Here. For today." Smiling at me.

"What time did you wake up?" rubbing my eyes.

"Didn't sleep, I had to review for myself." He was now sitting beside me.

"Sorry, didn't mean to make you work so hard." Leaning my head in his shoulders playing with his calloused hand.

"Then for payback, you should get up and get ready already." Pressing my forehead and pushing my head back, falling from his shoulders.

"Meanie..." I pouted.

He stood up letting out a snicker, not letting go of my hand, "I have to go too Pink face, its my exam day too." Boring his eyes to me.

"Then you should just let go." Smirking at him.

"I'm really trying here." Scowling at me.

I let out a giggle and placed my other hand on his.

"You're making this too impossible." He leaned in closer and placed our hands behind him and landed a peck on my cheek. "I'll see you later." Letting go for both of us.

"Alrighty." Smiling back at him. Then as he was nearing the door, I stood up from my bed and rushed towards him landing a kiss on his cheek, "You might need it but still, good luck on the exams."

"You need it more than me."

"Yeah, I think so too." Letting out a laugh.

"Later." Then he got out of the room.

It was only 5 am, but that is part of our little cycle too. He had to leave my room or I had to leave his room before any of our classmates start waking up after all. At first we tried going back to our rooms before any of us fell asleep, but the more time we spend together, the more I don't want to let go of him. So after 2 weeks of interchanging rooms, he decided that it would be best that we just study in my room all the time, so I don't have to sneak in the middle of the night or wake up half way.

I took a sip of the coffee, and as a person who is not a fan of bitter stuff, this one didn't particularly taste bad. Maybe because it's made by him. The things that change when you're in love.

So I got ready just as quickly, and now I'm taking my exams. And all I can wish for is that all the trouble I caused Bakugo-kun, I will be able to pass this by flying colors. No matter what, I don't want to disappoint that man.

"Let's go Ochaco-chi!" Mina-chi slams her hand on my desk.

"Why? What's going on?" jumping up from my seat.

"The results are out today!" grinning at me widely.

Oh. My. Gosh. This is it. It's finally here. 85, 85, I only need 85 and I pass this. I can do this. I let Mina-chi lead me out of the room and into the board. Everyone was there checking their scores. I started searching for my name and almost immediately saw Bakugo-kun's name on the top list. Of course he's going to be there. I continually search for my name, and after a second or two finally spotted it.

Uraraka Ochaco --------------------------------------------------------- 82%

I didn't make it.

"Congratulations Ochaco-chi! You actually passed it!" grinning at me.

"Aw, yeah, but actually-

"Good job Uraraka." Aizawa-sensei popped out behind me.

"Ah, Thank sensei, but I don't think I made it."

"Hmm. Really? You only had to pass the test after all and you're good to go."

"Eh? But sensei you said I should get at least an 85?" I said with knitted brows.

"Really?? Oh what I meant was 75. Sorry for the misunderstanding. So you did really great." Looking at me borely.

Wha??!! I passed??! What??!!

"I passed Mina-chi!!!" holding her hand and started jumping up and down. I can't believe it. I really passed.

Mina-chi and I just started squealing in the sidelines from the good news. Soon Tsuyu-chan found out and joined us as well.

The day went pretty swiftly from there. Aizawa sensei just announced to us when the closing ceremony will take place and reminded us not to be late. Some jokes were said, and some students got pretty depressed from their results that some had to take summer classes. Some students got additional internship for the summer like Tokoyami-kun and Deku-kun. And in a blink of an eye, Cherry trees bloomed and landed on our roofs as a new school year approaches. I walked through the halls of an oh so familiar hallway. This time though, I had to climb one floor higher than the previous one, and the head board now that signs 2-A. I took a deep breath, slid the door and caught sight of the most familiar bunch all talking and laughing together. Not seeing them for a month really made me miss them. Except for one of course. Even in summer, he always made his way to my area so we can hang out. To be honest, we just saw each other yesterday, but I already miss him. I tuck my hair behind my ear and sat at the same seat I had last year. Then the day went on.

"You should be careful this year." He said behind me.

It was already in the middle of the night when we made our way to the lobby and headed outside. He sat down on the grass and leaned back on a rock. I moved towards him and placed myself between his legs, my back on his chest. He tangled his hands with my hands as I placed them in my stomach.

"What do you mean?"

The moon shone brightly above us.

"Now that we're second years, more jerks will look at you, and you didn't exactly get uglier this year."

I let out a laugh at his comment. "Why, do you want me to become ugly?"

"If that makes less idiots to eye you, I'll take it."

"Then you should be careful too." Looking at him. "Don't you dare flash your smile to anyone." Pouting at him.

"I don't think you have to worry about that."

"Still!"

Now he was laughing.

"You know, Mina-chi has been setting me up with different people during summer?" Now Bakugo-kun was eyeing me. "Don't worry I kept saying no, and saying I wasn't ready. But that excuse wouldn't last me forever so she finally asked me if I have anyone I like right now."

"And?"

"I said I do, but he's far away." Grinning at him.

"Tsk. I'm just right here." Looking away.

"She doesn't know that." Poking his cheek.

"I don't care who knows about us, but don't you dare fail a subject then hide it from me, then ask another guy to tutor you then fall in love with him and leave me behind." Growling at me.

"Wha!" I thumped his knee and looked away. "I hate you."

He was now looking at me and poking my cheeks. He leaned in closer and started tickling me. I let out snorts and laughs as I tried to get away from his grip but continually fail so.

The moon shone brightly above us. Pink hints flew around us and it was just the two of us, covered in silence and snickers. I don't think I can ever get enough of this. Enough of him. As I looked back to him, I grabbed his shirt and landed my lips on his. It took a moment before he returned my kiss and cupped my cheeks. Slowly I moved my head to create a distance between us.

"Is that for the good night or the good morning?" he smirked.

"Both I guess." Blushing from the comment. I was still holding on to his shirt and he was holding my shoulder our forehead attached.

"Have I ever told you I love you?" he whispered.

"Hmm... I don't think so."

"You haven't either." Smirking at me. I moved my head back and thumped him in the chest. "You won't hear it from me first." Pouting at him.

"Fine. Then I don't love you." Pulling me closer to him, until my head was in his chest.

Letting out a laugh, I replied "I don't love you too." Embracing him by the waist.
