Chapter 13

"Oi! Let's get going already! Hungry monkeys need to be fed!" Bakugo-kun bursts from the kitchen.

"Ah- yeah! Let's go Deku-kun." Grabbing his arm.

Deku-kun pulls back a little then asks, "Is everything alright Uraraka-chan?"

"Of course everything is! There's nothing to be worried about Deku-kun. It's just a little hot here... and cooking for 20 people really takes a toll on you." Giggling at him.

"Well if you say so. I just hope you're not holding back anything to me. Whatever it is. I'm here to listen." He pulled his arm away gently and held my hand. He looked right in my eyes and smiled at me.

"Yeah, I know." Getting a little embarrassed, I just looked at our hands.

Was I holding anything back from him?

"Ochaco-chi! We should probably tell everyone they need to find their own plates." Mina-chi grabbed my arm and interlocked it with hers. "Alright Boys! We'll just tell everyone first, so don't let anything explode for the mean time." Pointing at the two boys in front of us.

"Sure go ahead!" Deku-kun exclaims.

"Tsk. Just get going already."

"Aye Sir!" Mina-chi saluting at Bakugo-kun. "Let's get going Ochaco-chi!"

"A-Aye!"

"Hahahahaha! You don't have to copy me."

---------------------------------------------------------

"FOOD IS READY!!!"

"YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!" almost everyone shouted with joy.

Bakugo-kun carried the pot of curry and rice in the middle of the field so we can all have our turns on getting our share. Each of us got ourselves a portion and placed ourselves on our own corners. To be honest, using a leaf to be my plate isn't as comfortable as it would seem as everything kind of just slides down. It's funny how we just all try to manage on the things we found to substitute a plate, and it's even funnier how this camp is organized. One second there's a kitchen, the next there are no plates. It's like here you can cook easily but find your own places to sleep on. Talk about inconsistencies.

*sigh

"Using a leaf isn't as good as I thought it would be, huh?"

I chuckled a little, "It's as good as it gets I suppose Deku-kun. Also, it doesn't harm the environment!" Giving him a thumbs up.

"Yeah, I guess." Giggling at me.

Somehow most of us managed to finish our food without spilling so much. I guess except me.

"That food was nice. You really did a good job Uraraka-chan." Deku-kun said.

"Ah, no-

"Yeah! I really love the apples on it Ochaco-chi!"

"Yep! Quite Balanced!" Iida-kun added.

Almost everyone thanked me for their meals, but it seems like they have forgotten a certain someone to thank, or it didn't just appeal to them. After all it's quite sweet, it's not like him at all.

"Thanks Bakugo!"Kirishima-kun says while hanging his arm on his neck.

"Tsk. Whatever."

Thanks Kirishima-kun.

"Uraraka-chan! Would you like to collect wood with us? For the fire tonight. It might get really chilly."

I thought for a second if coming with Deku-kun would be better off right now. After all, he's not the boy I just fought with earlier. Yep, we know who's a better company right now.

"I'll just help out in the kitchen for now."

Huh?

"Okay! Just come find us when you're done."

I thought we agreed that Deku-kun is a better company right now brain?!

"Yeah! I'll see if I can catch up!" waving at him.

Since when did we compare companies? He's your boyfriend Uraraka! He will always be the best company.

*sigh

I feel exhausted already.

I made my way to the kitchen and checked out if I can help out with anything. The utensils were already washed since earlier so the pot was the only one left, but he was already washing it. I suppose now all I can do is watch him. I feel like that is the only thing I have been doing when I am with him, just watching him.

"Where did you go?"

Oh no.

Did I just say that out loud?

I quickly covered my mouth with both of my hands...

I was expecting him to answer me in a sort of monstrous way, but all I received was silence.

All I can hear now is the water running from the faucet and him scrubbing some remains off the pot. After a minute or so, he was able to wash it off then placed it on its rack. He then dried his hands by rubbing it on the side of his pants. He slowly reached out on his back pocket and took out a small red envelope then placed it on the table beside me.

"From Sensei." He said.

I grabbed the letter, opened it and slowly took out the card that was inside it. It read...

For my two cooks,

Meat is in the middle of the playground.

"Wait? Is he really separating us from our groups now?"

"He did say for 3 days Pink Face."

"I can't believe this!!" rummaging my hands through my hair.

"Let's just go already. We don't have the whole sunlight left." He was already walking ahead of me.

"Ah! Wait for me!"

-----------------------------------------

"So, what kind of animal do you think it is?"

*rustle

"Or maybe animals?"

*rustle

"Or maybe it's already a huge chunk of meat!"

*rustle

"Wait? If it's alive, do we have to kill it ourselves?"

"JUST SHUT UP ALREADY PINK FACE!! YOU'RE DISTRACTING ME!!"

"Ehhhh!! Sorryyyyy..."

*rustle *rustle

"Are-are we lost Bakugo-kun?

Suddenly he stopped on his track. Then slowly looked at me.

"HUUUUUUUUUHHHHHH??!! LOST?! DID YOU JUST SAY LOST?!"

"We-well, it looks like we have been walking for some time now. And it's actually getting pretty dark."

*rustle

"Eek!"

"Oi Round face, are you scared of the dark?" leaning close to me.

"What?! No I'm not!"

"Then why are you shaking?"

I can't believe this. Out of all the people I have to show this side of me, it has to be him. I'm not usually scared of the dark. I can sleep with just a lampshade on after all. Also, there's a lot of cases that I go to forests at night on missions. Tonight isn't really different in any particular. Just maybe I'm alone with this guy, when usually I'm with a group of people.

"Tsk."

He suddenly grabbed my hand and placed it on his shirt. "Here, grab on to me for a while."

Eh?

We started on our tracks again. This time I was holding on to the back of his shirt.

"Thanks." I whispered.

"You can defeat a whole bunch of enemies, and yet you're afraid of a little darkness?"

"I said I'm not." Still whispering.

"Yeah, tell that to your shaking hands."

Tonight wasn't any different in particular. Just alone with you.

Then suddenly Bakugo-kun stopped again.

"We're here."

We hid ourselves from the bush and it seems like there was a boar in front of us eating some grass. It looks fully grown based from its size.

"Alright! Let's go!"

"Wait wait wait wait!" Pulling him back by his shirt.

"Oi! Don't pull so-

"We can't just attack head on! Boars can be dangerous if we're not careful!" still whispering.

"Okay, so I go distract the guy, then you go from its behind and touch it with your quirk. "

Wha-

He then jumps out of the bush and went in front of the boar. He started shooting some explosions upwards to let the boar notice him.

That guy!

The boar started running towards him so it was my turn to jump out of the bush and ran toward the boar. I was running full speed ahead just to catch up to the boar. Gaining speed on the animal I was ready to touch it when it suddenly turned right completely making me crash to Bakugo-kun. Unable to deactivate my quirk on time, Bakugo-kun started floating upwards.

"Oi! Pink face!"

"Ah!"

Supposedly touching my fingertips to deactivate my quirk, the boar was already charging at me. It only took almost a second but I was already frozen in place. Then Bakugo-kun suddenly fired a bomb in front of me letting me and the boar get blown away by the impact.

"Oi! Uraraka! You alright?!" shaking me by my shoulders.

"Bakugo-kun? How did you get down here?"

"It seems like you were able to deactivate me when you got blown away."

"Ah! How's the boar?"

"Pretty knocked out I could say." We both looked in the direction of the boar.

"Pfft. Hahahahahahaha!!" I don't know why, but I couldn't help but laugh.

"What's so funny Pink face!!??"

Wiping the tears that formed in my eyes due to my laughter, "That was so bad! Hahahahaha!"

"Hmph, yeah."

Huh?

And there it was again. That smile. That smile that could light up the whole world.

Or just my whole world.
