Chapter 6

05:06, 12 February 2015

The day started just as usual, Nala being bored out of her mind and everyone else being animatronics.

Nala's POV

I was holding an apple, reading another book from the new pile Bonnie left me, when the door opened. Foxy came in, a little more energized than yesterday.

"Aye, lass. I see ye be doing good." he said and sat in the chair closest to me. He smiled brightly, making me smile wider.

"Yep, I'm reading... Th-th-three Bli-b-blind M-mice. Yes! Three Blind Mice!" I chirped happily, proud of myself for successfully sounding the title out. Foxy chuckled.

"Ye be getting better in yer vocabulary." he said, wiping stray hairs out of his face. "The others should be getting back soon."

"Ok." I said and took a bite of my apple. "Ow!" Foxy looked at me, concerned.

"What be the matter, lass?" I held my mouth and moved my tongue around. One of my two buck teeth were loose. I became very, very frightened. I've never had anything like this happen before.

"My tooth is wiggly." I told him, pointing at the tooth. He laughed and I looked at him confused.

"My, ye got a loose tooth, lass. It means yer first adult tooth wants out." he smiled.

"My first adult tooth?" I asked. He nodded. I was overwhelmed with joy. "Yay, my tooth is growing up! But, why does it hurt? Will it fall out?"

"Yer baby tooth will come out and yer adult tooth will grow back in, replacing the younger one." he explained.

"What happens to my baby tooth?" I asked, puzzled.

"We'll put it under yer pillow for the tooth fairy to come get. She'll leave ye a present if ye sleep well." he smiled, waving his hand (and hook) around in the air to add emphasis. My eyes grew wider, along with my smile.

"Yay!" I jumped up and down on the couch. The door opened again with Freddy, Chica and Bonnie walking in.

"Woah, Nala looks excited." Bonnie said, his head going up and down like my jumping.

"Yep! I have a loose tooth, see?" I ran up to them and pointed at my tooth, mouth wide.

"Cool!" Chica exclaimed.

"It still hurts, though. I bit into an apple." I said, rubbing my tooth lightly.

"Aw, poor you. Was the apple good?" Freddy asked. I put my hands on my hips and looked at him like, 'Are you serious? That's a rhetorical question, right?'.

"No, I barely bit into it!" I threw my hands up in the air.

"Ooh... Freddy's getting scolded by a girl!" Chica exclaimed, making everyone but Freddy laugh.

"All I did was ask a question." he said, crossing his arms. Suddenly, I got a bright idea.

"Hey, can we watch Frozen?" I asked. They all looked at me like I was bonkers.

"What's that?" Bonnie asked. I clutched my heart and gasped.

"You... don't... know... F-f-frozen?!?!" I asked, shocked.

"No." he answered, taking a step back away from me.

"It's like the best movie ever!!!!" I shouted.

"We have to find it first, Na-" Freddy began.

"Found it! Is this it, Nala?" Chica asked.

"Yes!" I shouted, clapping my hands rapidly and jumping up and down.

Chica's POV

"Let's watch it again!" Nala shouted.

"No!" Freddy and Bonnie exclaimed in unison.

"We've watched it like five-hundred times!" Bonnie said.

"I like her enthusiasm. She be a mighty fine gal to be friends with." Foxy said, smiling at her.

"We are friends with her, Foxy." I pointed out, rolling onto my belly to look at him.

"I know, I know." Foxy said.

"Hey, Chica." Nala said.

"What?"

"Do you wanna build a snowman?" I smiled.

"C'mon let's go and play!"

"I never see you anymore, come out the door. It's like you've gone away! We used to be best buddies, but now we're not. I wish you would tell me why! Do you wanna build a snowman? It doesn't have to be a snowman!" we sang in unison, laughing.

"Time to get to bed, everyone. Tomorrow be another long day." Foxy said as he stood up. He looked like a giant from down here. I got up along with the rest of the gang. Nala sat there and yawned.

"Hey, Foxy, have you found a room for Nala yet?" Bonnie asked.

"Ah! I almost forgot. Aye, I do have a room for ye, lass. Come along and you'll see." Foxy took her hand and led her down the hallway.

Foxy's POV

I led Nala down the hall towards her room. Her door was painted a baby blue with pink, sparkly polka-dots on it. Fairies decorated the rest to give it a younger looking touch.

"Here it be, lass." I said. I opened the door to what looked like a princess's room. The bed was twin sized with poles holding the top up. Light purple curtains hung limply down the top of the bed. The walls were a bright yellow with ornaments of fairy tales and knick-knacks on shelves. I led her towards her bed, which was piled with various pillows and stuffed animals. Her blankets were a deep shade of purple, along with the pillows.

I picked her up and set her in her bed. As I tucked her in. she hugged me tightly. I hugged back and finished tucking her in.

"G'Night, lass." I said to her as I turned on a snow-flake shaped night-light. It illuminated most of the room when I turned off the light.

"Good night, Foxy." she said. I blushed a bit. I haven't really ever heard her say my name before. I shut the door and then headed off to my room.
