*-*Merliah's POV*-*

When I regained consciousness, Max told me that Billy ended up getting away, atleast I knew he wasn't cheating on me, but being taken over by a monster wasn't good either.

Eleven was sitting on the floor, with her eyes covered, trying to find out where Hopper was.

"I found him." Eleven spoke up, breaking the silence.

"Where is he?" Max asks.

"Woods." El says.

"Woods?" Mike asks confused.

"He's with... Will's mom." El informs us.

"My... My mom?" Will questions in confusion, sitting forward in his seat.

"What are they doing in the woods?" I ask the girl.

"Ill...annoy. they're going to Ill-annoy." El says.

"Mike! Breakfast!" Mrs Wheeler yells from upstairs, reminding me of what time it is. "Not now, mom!" Mike shouts, his attention turning back to Eleven. "Illinois? Illinois, like the state? The state of Illinois?" He asks her, as she took the cloth from her eyes.

"Ill-annoy." El repeats what she heard, she and max went to the bathroom after that, I sat down on the ground, staring into nothingness, it felt like a piece of me was starting to disappear, which had everything else just feel wrong.

I know the boy's were talking, about the monster or the mind flayer, and how to stop it, but I was trying to figure out why I was starting to feel different in my own body.

I eventually snapped out of my thoughts when Nancy and Jonathan showed up. Nancy started talking about rats, and some old lady eating chemicals, I quickly started paying attention after that, Mike fulled his sister in on everything we've discovered so far.

"It was the same thing, the exact same thing that happened to Will last year, and look at this, look at the body temperatures." Nancy explains, talking about this lady, showing us a piece of paper.

"He likes it cold." Will says.

"So some crazy old lady who's eating fertilizer..." I state, only to have Nancy correct me. "Mrs Driscoll."

"I don't really care. Exactly what time was the attack?" I ask her.

"Last night." Nancy says glaring at me.

"Right, but what time last night?" Mike asks his sister.

"Around 9:00." Nancy states.

"You waited all night to call?" Jonathan asks his girlfriend. "I was waiting for the doctors to run some tests." Nancy tells him.

"You weren't with her?" Will questions his brother.

"Well, I'm here now, aren't I?" Jonathan states.

"Hallelujah." Nancy says, which only told me they had a fight, which had me missing Billy and I's fights, I quickly shook my head getting my mind straight.

"Ohhh."

"Um, so, wha... What time was your... Sauna test?" Nancy asks.

"Around 9:00." Mike says.

"Well that proves it. That proves my theory." Nancy says, but we already figured there might be a possibility of other people being flayed.

"She's flayed, just like Billy." Mike points out.

"Flayed?" Jonathan asks.

"The mind flayer. He flays people. Takes over their mind. Once they do that, they basically become him." Mike explains to the two, with simple words.

"If there are two flayed..." Lucas trails off, Will finished his sentence for him. " We have to assume there are more."

"Heather." I mutter in realisation. Eleven quickly sat up. "Billy was doing something to her. She was scared. She was screaming. Bad screams." Eleven says.

"What's a good scream?" Lucas curiously asks.

"Max and Merliah said..." Eleven says, but I covered her mouth before she could finish that sentence. "Doesn't matter." Max quickly states, glaring at Lucas.

"I'm sorry, I'm lost. Who is Heather?" Nancy asks, in clear confusion.

"Heather Holloway." I say, which made Nancy and Jonathan look at each other, muttering a name. "Tom." Before I knew it, we were getting into Nancy's car, for a little trip to the Holloway residents.
