A Journey Unlike Any Other (2)

     "Ok mom, I will remember" Ash said as he ran out the door. He never really needed very many changes of cloths, he just had three pairs of the same outfit to wear every day. He said bye to professor oak and got on his new bicycle and headed to the nearest airport. During the long time riding he started to think of his new adventure, then of Serena. He deeply wished he could see her again, but she probably hated him for his actions.

     His pikachu stood on his shoulder as he arrived at the airport. He quickly boarded his plane and sat down, then he saw a familiar face, "Brock" he said. But Brock was to busy flirting with the girl in the next row.  He grabbed his shoulder and Brock turned around, and said frustratedly "what was that for" then he saw ash "Ash?" Brock exclaimed. "long time no see" ash said.

     The two old friends chatted for some time, Brock was going to Hoenn to take a second flight to Kalos. "Hey" ash said "I was there not to long ago, ok it was a few years ago". "wow" Brock said "did you meet many girls?" Brock inquired. "there was one..." Ash said. "I know how you feel" Brock replied. "NO YOU DON'T!" Ash blurted "I'm sorry, its just she confessed to me, but i was so dumb, so childish and just left." "wow ash" Brock said.

     Ash left the plane in Hoenn, going immediately for his first gym badge. With no friend holding him back, he beat his first four gyms easily. He then took some time to relax, and to train. He felt lonely but still didn't want new friends. He wanted his old ones back. He took more time to train, his battling taking his life now.  

     "Pikachu, use thunder!" Ash commanded. But pikachu was to tired. "NO, if we are going to win we can't have weak pokemon" he shouted.  He pulled a thunder-stone out of his pocket, running to pikachu, it resisted but he started to shove it toward him. "No Ash" a voice yelled. Ash turned around to see Max standing there, looking worried. "Thank goodness you are here!" ash started to mentally break down. He ran to Max, crying. Max tried to comfert his old friend. "I must go" Max said "May and I are leaving tonight, but i heard your pikachu's yells and found you. I know you can beat the elite four Ash,  you are just so strong."

     Ash for the next few weeks, beat the final gyms, and came to the elite four. "So we have a challenger" the first member said. 'Yes we do" Ash smiled. The battle raged on through the night, but in the end Ash and pikachu destroyed the opponent team. "Next!" Ash said jokingly. He went on to defeat all three other members. "So wheres your champion" Ash said.

Ash- pikachu use thunderbolt

Steven- dodge it and counter with zen headbut

Ash- pikachu use iron tail

Steven- You are good, but you stand no chance! Metagross mega-evolve

The stadium shimmered with light as the stone on metagross' head started to glow. Then a flash of light and metagross was now mega metagross

Ash- Now pikachu, use electro-ball

The battle went on, each side trading hits, and then ash came out on top with a clutch critical hit
