Before I start writing, I would like to let you guys know that I edited the last chapter because I accidentally left out a part at the very end. I also added a few songs to the playlist but if you don't do playlist thingies then that's okay too. And I originally wrote this story down in one of my journals and I think around here I got a little lazy so the next few chapters are gonna be even shittier than the past ten chapters.  I am trying tho. Ok on with the story.

Mike POVWhen I arrived at school the next week I looked around for y/n, but I can't see her anywhere. I frowned."Mike! You okay?" Dustin cuts off my train of thought. "He's looking for his girlfriend." Lucas tells him."Guys!" Will warns them."Why wou— I don't have a girlfriend!" I retort and the others sicker a little. "What?!" I am very confused.

At the end of the day, when we get to science, y/n is already there. I wave at her but she's looking out the window. The class started and mr Clarke started to put us into pairs."Lucas and Max..." mr Clarke says.Lucas groans quietly."...Dustin and Will..." he continues, "... Mike and El..."Fuck!Mr Clarke finishes reading out the pairs. I walk over to El's desk, she does not look happy that we were put together."So I'll do—" I start but El cuts me off."Mike, you know I hate science. You do all the work and I'll take half credit."She's so demanding and unfair.

Y/n POV"...Mike and El..."After mr Clarke finished reading out the pairs mike walks over to El's desk and they start talking. Mike sits down next to her and starts working silently.   They work well together.I sighed and turned to my partner. He's one of the kids who bully me, and doesn't do any work."So freak that never speaks," he starts,"You're gonna do both our work right? If you don't want to then just say so." He smirked and shoved the papers towards me. I glared at him as I snatched the papers. I finish both our work in about 20 minutes. I go up to mr Clarke's desk and put the work there. I wait until he looks up and gives me one of his famous smiles that warm you up inside. I point at the door, that's how I ask to go for a walk, not wanting to go back to my desk where my partner sits."Of course you can go y/n, but can I talk to you for a minute?" Mr Clarke leads me out into the hall. "Y/n, your mom called me today and told me that you've made some friends,"I'm surprised that the news hasn't made the front page. I'm not even sure if I have friends though. They were just people who I hung out with on the weekend.I look down."Well I was asked—" mr Clarke looks away like he wasn't supposed to tell me that, "I mean, I think I speak for all of us when I invite you to join the A.V. Club! Just, think about it okay?" He gives me another one of his smiles and returns to the classroom.Wait! Who's in the A.V. Club?? I have no friends. When are we meeting? Who's in the Club? Will I have to talk?I walk around the school, I consider going into the computer lab because I sometimes go in when I'm on my walks and there aren't any classes in there, but the computers aren't that great so I don't go in.

Mike POVWhen I look over at y/n, she's completely immersed in her work. She didn't look so happy. What did her jerk partner say to her?After a bit, she gets up and walked over to mr Clarke's desk, they walk out of the classroom. A minute later, mr Clarke comes back in to the class.                I had asked him to invite y/n into the A.V. Club. Obviously I had consulted the party if she could join before I asked mr Clarke to ask her. I was a little nervous to ask her myself. I hope she joins.

Y/n POVAt the end of the day, I packed up and walked out of the classroom. I had nobody to wait for so why stuck around?I've almost left the building when I hear mr Clarke's voice."Mike, I've asked her, I haven't gotten an answer yet—""Maybe I can talk to her." Mike's voice cuts him off."Mike, I heard about 'the accident'. I don't think she's going to join. I don't ask her to talk because I know about her... situation and there's a lot of talking involved in the A.V. Club. She's probably not going to join.""But..." Mike paused, "I just... I want her to join.""Give her time Mike.""Okay." Mike says before him and mr Clarke go into a room and shut the door. Probably the A.V. Club room.Why does Mike want me to join?I walked out of the school, thinking about what I just heard. I was thinking so hard, my head hurt. My head hurt even more when when I was pushed over and hit my head on the pavement.

Word count - 908 There's another long one for you guys. And it ends on a cliffhanger. Today, at recess, I played duck duck goose with a few other people in my class and this one girl was it and she said: "Duck... duck... duck... duck..." and instead of saying goose, she called this guy who was playing, 'daddy!'.            So that was some great entertainment during these shitty times.               Love you guys.
