I walked into the front lounge of the tour bus to find Zack sitting at the table snacking. Man, this boy is constantly snacking on something. I don't know how he does it, especially while on tour since they can't work out any time they want.

"You're eating again?" I giggled and ruffled his hair.

The band had started their tour and so we were on the bus traveling. Thankfully the bus wasn't too small.

"Hey I'm part Italian, we love food." He chuckled with some food still in his mouth as he stood up and threw his trash away.

"Oh so that's your excuse huh?" I giggled, "Maybe that's why I love drinking because I'm part Irish."

"You're part Irish?"

"I am." I nodded, "From my biological fathers side, then part Scandinavian from my mother's side."

"That's pretty badass."

No One's POV

The tour has been going on for a week and every night of the tour they've been drinking so tonight was no different.

Joella came out from the back of the bus, getting ready to meet up with the rest of the guys before they went to one of the local bars. She smiled as she seen Papa Gates standing there but she had never met him, plus it didn't help she had some alcohol in her system already and had just got done smoking some weed.

"Geez Brian, what the hell happened to you? The show really did a number on you." She giggled.

"What do you mean by that?" He chuckled, "Am I that bad looking?"

"Uh yeah! Go look in the mirror, you're old looking man! Just this morning you were young looking. Did you get cursed, lost a bet that made you really older until you break the curse?" She joked.

"You have no idea who I am do you?" Papa Gates laughed softly.

"Uh yeah, Brian Haner aka the famous Synyster Gates." She smirked right as Brian walked onto the bus, which caused her eyes to go wide, "Holy shit! What was in that weed? I'm seeing things." She rubbed her temples as she closed her eyes then opened them back up.

"I see you met my father. Wait what's wrong?" Brian asked as he scrunched his eyebrows together.

"Apparently she thought I was you with some bad curse." Papa Gates laughed.

"This is your father?! Oh my God I'm so sorry! I called you old." She exclaimed putting her palm on her forehead as her cheeks went rosy from embarrassment.

"Well I mean you're not wrong, he is old." Brian joked bumping his father's shoulder with his.

"So why didn't you correct me? I even called you Brian."

"Because you said the right name. And what you was saying was amusing. I wasn't sure if you was fucking with me or if you actually didn't know who I was."

"I didn't know." She shook her head. "What do you mean I said the right name though? He's Brian." She pointed to Brian.

"And I am too." Papa Gates chuckled, "He's Brian Haner Jr and I'm Brian Haner Sr but everyone calls me Papa Gates or guitar guy. Depends on if they know me through my son here or know me through the comedian Jeff Dunham."

"Jeff Dunham? Oh! Is that, that one guy that pretty much sticks his hand up a puppet's ass and has a conversation with them, well with himself pretty much?"

Brian and Papa Gates laughed at how she described a ventriloquist. Right then the rest of the guys walked in.

"What's so funny in here?" Johnny smirked.

"A Ventriloquist, but yes that's Jeff." Papa Gates chuckled then looks at him, "This girl here, I'm sorry I don't know your name."

"Joella."

"Joella, she described Jeff Dunham as someone who sticks his hand up a puppet's ass and has a conversation with himself." Papa Gates chuckled which caused the rest of them to join him.

"And with short shit here, Jeff probably could do the same thing." Jimmy laughed as he patted Johnny's shoulder blades.

"Why are you guys always picking on Johnny, leave the poor guy alone. I'm actually surprised he's put up with you guys this long." Papa Gates shook his head.

"Awe come on it's funny pops. We don't mean no harm." Jimmy chuckled.

"He's our garden gnome." Brian chuckled as he ruffled Johnny's hair.

"You guys are assholes." Johnny moved away from Brian and shook his head with a chuckle.

"I really am sorry for calling you old." Joella told Papa Gates as they headed to the bar.

"Nah don't worry about it." He smiled as he smacked the air, "I am getting old so it's nothing to be mad about."

"So something I don't understand, you were a fan of us before meeting us. How did you not realize about my dad and me? Like the names I mean?"

Joella shrugged, "Because I'm a fan of your guys music but I'm not one of those fans that are obsessed with looking up everything about your personal lives ya know? How do you think I didn't realize you had relationship with Michelle."

After about an hour after being at the bar, everyone was having a good time.

"So Jo, why is it that when you first started hanging with us you were a bitch but yet with Mr. Haner, you've been nothing but nice." Zack asked point blank.

"Zachary!" Papa Gates smacked the back of his head.

"It's okay." She giggled, "He's telling the truth. I was a bitch to them, especially to Matt here." She put her hand on his thigh with a smile at him. "I do that to younger people, make sure their friendship is real. If they can tolerate my attitude then they deserve to be in my life. And I wasn't that much of a bitch to you guys." She stuck her tongue out at him.

"Except to Matt." Jimmy snickered.

"Well yeah but in my defense he was an ass right back."

"Only because I loved your comebacks." He kissed her cheek, "Which we've already established that."

"Yes." She giggled then looked at Zack, "But to answer your question, the reason why is because that's how I was raised. To respect people's parents or as my father would say, respect your elders." She giggled, "And also if it wasn't for Papa Gates and Brian's mom getting it on, we wouldn't have the great Synyster Gates." She laughed as the rest of them joined.

"Oh God!" Brian scrunched up his nose even as he was laughing, "That's a sentence I never want to hear again concerning my parents."

"Awe why my son, she's only speaking the truth." Papa Gates chuckled as he patted the back of Brian's lower neck.

"Because no one wants to think anything like that about their parents. That's like me telling you, you're here because you're parents got it on." Brian chuckled looking at his father.

"Okay okay I see your point." He chuckled.
