03:59, 20 June 2023After a few weeks the guys finally finished recording songs for the album and to celebrate they decided to have a party. Johnny made sure to invite Joella, and at first she didn't want to go even though she really never turns down party invites.
She decided on a dark blue dress that fell to her knees with a faded black denim jacket to top it off and some laced sandals.
Joella's POV
Once I got to the party Johnny insisted I come to, the first people I saw was Brian and his girl Michelle. I went over since he waved me over, but I knew it was going to be awkward.
"Jo, hey, this is Michelle. Babe, this Joella, she works at the studio and helped us out there." He introduced us.
"Hello, nice to meet you." Michelle smiled.
"Uh same to you." I smiled back, trying to conceal the awkwardness I was feeling. "I'm going to get myself a drink now."
As I started to walk away though Michelle caught up to me, "Hey look, I know what happened between you and Brian."
"I'm sorry I didn't know he had a girlfriend until a couple days later."
I took a step back thinking Michelle was going to start a fight with me. I'm hoping she wouldn't though. That wasn't something I wanted to do especially since I just got here to the party.
Michelle giggled shaking her head, "No, look I could tell how awkward you felt back there. That's why I came to talk to you, I don't know if he told you, but we do have a mutual agreement when it comes to sex with other people. So trust me, there's no hard feelings that you two were together sexually."
"Oh okay." I let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you." I'm glad he didn't lie to me about that just to calm me down that day.
"Just don't fall in love with him." She winked.
"Too late." I winked then giggled at her facial expression, "I'm kidding, sort of. His musical abilities is what I love, not him in general. I mean he's an awesome friend too but I'm not in love with him. You know what I mean?"
She giggled with a nod, "I get what you mean."
Normally I'm a bitch to people I just met but I didn't want to be that way with her. Since Brian was her boyfriend and he became one of my friends, I felt like she deserved the friendly side of me.
After we parted ways I went into the kitchen, grabbed one of the red solo cups and made myself a drink then as I took a drink I heard a voice I instantly recognized. One I actually love hearing, before I met the guys anyways.
"And who the hell invited you. No one wants you here."
I looked over and seen Matt standing there. But right before I looked at him though, I swore I seen a smile on his face then when I had looked at him it quickly dropped, "Uh Johnny did. Why does it matter to you anyways since this is his house, he obviously wanted me here." I shrugged and took a big drink out of my cup.
Johnny had in fact told me it was at his own place. He probably knew I would believe him since I've had never been to any of their houses before.
"Uh think again. This is my house, not his." He smirked.
"Are you serious?" I choked out.
"As a heart attack."
"Motherfucker lied to me." I tossed the cup in my hand into the sink and stormed off.
I searched the party and finally found him. Why would he lie to me, is beyond me. He didn't have to lie to me, it's not like I actually asked whose house the party was going to be at when he told me about it.
"Jonathan Sewerd!" I yelled over the music.
"Oh shit dude, what the hell did you do to her for her to use your whole name." I heard Zacky laugh.
I seen Johnny saying something to Zacky, but couldn't tell what it was, probably explaining what he did.
"What the fuck?! Why, why did you tell me this was YOUR house!" I yelled once I finally was close enough to them.
"Uh because you wouldn't have came if I told you the truth."
"Yes I would have because it's a celebration."
"Right, would you have really, if I told you it was at Matt's house?"
"No you're right, I wouldn't have." I sighed although more than likely I actually would have.
I love coming to parties. I wouldn't deny the other guys my presence just because of Matt disliking me.
"Exactly, hence why I said it was my house. We wanted you to celebrate with us because you've been there from the beginning of the recording of this album and you deserved to celebrate along with us." He said and I watched as Zacky agreed.
"Ugh okay fine you're right." I groaned out.
"What? What, I didn't hear that." He cupped his hand to his ear.
"I said you're right." I said louder.
"Atta girl, now have some fun with us." He motioned to the table by us, "We're fixing to play some beer pong, join us."
I looked at the table and decided to play. I have played before but wasn't the greatest at it. Seems like every other party I had ever been to had one going. Guess it's because it's a party tradition to have beer pong.
"You played before right?" Zacky asked.
"I have." I nodded with a smile.
We decided to have girls vs boys, with Gena and me on one team and Johnny and Zacky on the other. But unfortunately the guys barely beat us.
"Ohh yeah." Zacky boasted doing his best Kool-aid man impression, while flexing his arms in front of him.
"Can it Zachary or you'll regret it." I playfully glared as I lightly shook my fist at him but also had a smile on my face.
"Okay, okay." He laughed.
"Awe someone can't handle losing?" I heard Matt smirked from behind me.
"I was only kidding. And no one asked you anyways." I turned to face him.
Although I don't know why I said that last statement, I guess it was the alcohol in my system causing me to say things that didn't make sense.
"I'm sure you were." He rolled his eyes then leaned his face close to mine, "I'd say you need to release some sexual tension but we all know you did that a few weeks ago with my best friend. Maybe you need to have more released."
"Man fuck you. Maybe you're the one sexually frustrated, what can't get it up for the girls anymore?" I decided to shove him, but started laughing when he fell into the pool.
I didn't mean to actually push him that hard where he'd fall in there but oh well. Serves him right for treating me the way the he has been.
"Fucking hell! My phone was in my fucking pocket." He quickly pulled it out and tossed it on the ground then hopped out.
"Oops sorry." I said innocently but had to bite my bottom lip at the sight of his wet shirt clinging to his muscular body. But I do feel sorta bad that his phone got ruined.
"You're not fucking sorry. Hope you're willing to pay for any damages you just caused to my phone." He roared out.
I finally shook the thoughts of my head at the sight of him, I needed to especially with everyone around watching.
"Like I knew your damn phone was in your pocket and it's not like I meant to push you in there. Plus if you were smart you'd have insurance put on the damn thing, which I highly doubt you are." I couldn't help but snicker.
"Of course I have fucking insurance but your ass is still going to pay for the damages."
"And what if I don't?" I crossed my arms as I raised my eyebrow.
"Then I'll go to the next best thing, I'm sure daddy wouldn't be too pleased how you ruined my phone by throwing it in the pool." He smirked.
"You wouldn't dare go to him with a lie." My eyes went wide as I jabbed my finger towards him. Would he really lie like that?
"Oh but I would." He smirked.
It's not like my father would believe him right? Plus I have witnesses that would prove that I didn't throw his phone, that I pushed Matt into the pool. They would side with me, and tell the truth, at least I hope, but I don't know over half these people.
