Chapter 8

"J-Joker?" Robin yelled, not expecting the clown to be here. "Awe, you know my name!" Joker laughed, and sent his men to go fight. Cyborg, Star, and Beast Boy were fighting off the henchmen, while Robin and Raven were fighting Joker.Suddenly, Joker grabbed Raven, and stuck a needle in her. "Raven!" Robin said, furious. "Bye, Birdy Boy." Joker said evilly, smirking. He disappeared out of sight."G-Guys!" Robin yelled, right after they fought."Joker took Raven!" They all gasped, and looked around like it was some sort of prank. "I'm going for a while. Star, Beast Boy, Cyborg... Do regular missions. I'm going to go find Raven."They all nodded, following the order.

Robin sighed, and then sped to the Wayne Manor.

"Open the door!" Robin yelled, banging. Finally, someone answered the door."Oh, hello, Mas-" Alfred begun, but was quickly cut off.Robin shoved through the door."Bruce!" He shouted, but nothing."Batcave, Master Dick." Alfred said, dusting.Robin nodded, and pulled a book out of the shelve. The clock led the way to the cave.

"Bruce! Bruce!" He yelled, racing down the steps. Bruce was sitting in his bat suit, researching criminals. "Ravens gone! Joker took her!" Robin yelled, panicking."I know." Bruce simply said, scanning some more.Robin walked over to the bat computer, and sat next to Bruce."Y-you're already researching?" He asked, stunned."I'm Batman, remember?" Bruce answered, smirking. "Bruce... we have to find her..." "I know, Dick. I'm working on it."

Raven woke up, to darkness. She could feel ropes tied around her, when she tried to move.

"Wakey, Wakey!" A voice said. The lights turned on, and she quickly looked around."Harley... let me go." Raven said to the female clown. "Sorry, Birdy. Mr.J's orders!" Harley responded. Raven couldn't use her powers, since she was too weak. She felt so... hopeless.Harley sat the camera down, and turned on the tv. She connected the two, and did other stuff that Raven couldn't understand because the TV was blurry."It's ready, Puddin!" Harley yelled. Joker stepped in, and a pocket knife in his hand. "Turn it on, Harley!" Joker ordered. She turned it on, and I could see myself in the screen.

"Turn to channel 3, Sir." Alfred said, tuning from the cell.Batman turned on channel 3, on his mini screen in the batmobile. "Hello, Bats!" Joker greeted, walking towards Raven."I'm hoping boy wonder is there with you-" Joker held his knife in Ravens mouth. Robins face was streaming with tears. "You know how I got these scars?" Joker asked, and held Ravens head still."My dad didn't love me." Robin cringed at the hearing of the bloody scream coming from Raven. He closed his eyes, and began to sob.Batman sped up the pace, knowing where to go."I got a tracking signal." Batman said. "The Warehouse."

Raven had tears streaming down her face, as he got finished. "Mhm that's better." Joker said, cleaning off his knife. Ravens blood was gushing from both of the slits from her mouth that the Joker made.Harley held a mirror in front of Raven."You like it, Rae?" Harley ask. Ravens eye widened at what she saw.She saw a mouth like the Jokers. On her face."I believe she loves it, Harley!" Joker laughed.Harley and Joker turned off the lights, exiting.
