Chapter 23

We had now been over in New York for two weeks and filming was going great, Oregan and Arlo had filmed their parts and were now enjoying their time on set. Bam was still filming small bits here and there with the rest of the crew. Talison and I were only going to be in the backgrounds of stunts because Johnny felt that my reaction to some of the stunts was good enough and having Talison around made everything somewhat cuter because he really was a little character.

Today Bam was going to be shooting some extra's for the DVD he wanted the kids to be sat in on the interview, Talison insisted sitting on Bam's lap all throughout the interview, We were surprised at how well behaved he was because usually he would fight to run around if he had been sat still longer than 5 minuets. Oregan and Arlo were sat either side of Bam. " So Bam, how does it feel to have your children alongside while filming" the interviewer asked. " It's pretty cool having them around, especially this little fella" Bam said as he ruffled Talison's hair causing him to wriggle a little " No daddy" he announced causing everyone to laugh " Sorry buddy" Bam said while laughing. " He's quite the cutie, So Arlo you're now sponsored with Element how's that going" the interviewer moved on " It's going great thanks, I've been deigning a few of my own boards quite recently and next summer I'm going on a 2 month skate tour around the world and I'm super excited for that" Arlo answered with excitement in his voice " Sounds's great we're all looking forward to seeing how that goes. Oregan you're doing well with your skating we caught a glimpse of you in action earlier and wow we're impressed" the interviewer said with a smile " Thank you" Oregan shyly answered. She had an uneasy look on her face.

*Oregan's POV*

Whenever anyone complimented my skating I always feel a sense of disbelief I thought people were only saying it because my Dad and brother are amazing it. Because they are so good at it I think that I have to work harder to be at the standard that they are at. Now Talison was wanting to pick up a board and have a try, Dad said that when he turns three then he's going to start teaching him, which to me makes me think that Talison will be better than me one day, I'm not he jealous in any way shape or form its just that I want to be just as good as all the other female skaters out there. At the moment I've been falling off quite a bit, while shooting my small parts for the film I fell twice everyone who saw it took pity on me and told me that I would get it right eventually. But for me that isn't good enough, All the years I've watched my Dad and Arlo I've never seen them fall at all and I really wish I would be able to get everything right just like them..

*Elladee's POV*

After Bam had finished filming the extra's he wanted to head to a nearby skate park so he could chill out and have fun, he wasn't skating professionally anymore but he saw it as a fun way to spend time with his kids. Talison and I watched on as Arlo, Bam and Oregan had fun, I noticed that Oregan seemed to be a little off guard around Bam and Arlo which was unusual because usually she would watch where she was boarding but today she was throwing herself in it  a lot more. While in my lap Talison began to fidget quite a bit " Sit still sweetie please" I asked him politely, surprisingly he took notice and did so. After a few minuets I let him off of my lap and allowed him to walk freely just in front of me he was content enough. I looked up and noticed Arlo and Bam having a lot of fun, Oregan was skating pretty fast I noticed her rushing towards where Talison was playing " Oregan" I shouted hoping she would stop but she didn't seem to hear me, she performed an Ollie  and as she landed she landed skimming past Talison knocking him to the ground. Oregan stopped in her tracks and realized how careless she has just been. 

" Mommy" Talison cried as he lied on the floor. I rushed over and scooped him up, Oregan was stood with her head in her hands. " It's okay sweetie mommy's here, please tell me what hurts, Oregan what were you playing at" I shouted at her " Arm ouchy" Talison cried. I sat him down on the bench and examined his arm, the poor boy must have been in so much pain as it did look broken. I kissed his head and assured him that he would be okay. " I'm so sorry mom, I didn't see him" Oregan said with tears streaming down her face. " Get Bam and Arlo please, we need to get him to the hospital" I asked her. I was too angry with her to say anything more. She nodded and did as she was told. 

Talison needed and X ray to determine if he had broken his arm, he was given some medicine to calm his pain a little, it did settle him because while we waited he slept in Bam's arms. Oregan was feeling incredibly guilty for Talison's injury. Arlo told me that he would take her to get a coffee to get her away from the situation and try and get to the bottom of what happened. Oregan was never a violent girl I didn't suspect for a second that she would have purposely hurt him. After a 3 and a half hour wait we were told that Talison had broken his arm like I suspected. " Do you think Arlo will get through to her" Bam asked as we waited to be called into the room where Talison would be given his plaster. " I hope so, she's never violent, there's something up with her Bam I know there is" I said worrying over the welfare of our daughter. " Do you think she's working to hard at school maybe" Bam suggested. I shook my head " No, she's doing really well at school, it's got to be something else" I retorted. Before long Talison was all ready to leave, the plaster on his arm was red and was massive but he needed it for his arm to heal properly, He was issued with a 5 week check up appointment.

Later that evening when Talison was settled down in bed back at the hotel, Bam,Arlo, Oregan and I were sat in the living room chatting. Oregan was sat engrossed in her phone not paying much attention, "Oregan could you put your phone down a moment please your Dad and I would like to talk to you sweetie" I asked, I realized that talking calmly to her would most probably be better for us all. " If you're going to have a go at me then save it, I already said I was sorry" she shouted. "Give your mom a chance before you start jumping to conclusions" Bam added. " Sorry" Oregan said and set her phone down beside her. "Arlo could you give us a few minuets please" I politely asked. He nodded and left the room.

"Is everything okay Oregan" I asked hoping she would give us some light in why she had been acting strange recently " Yeah everything's going okay thanks" she beamed, but somehow I didn't seem so convinced, I had had a feeling that Arlo knew what was wrong. So I left the room and knocked on Arlo's door. " Come in" he called softly, I opened the door and approached his bed. " Oh hey mom" He smiled. " Hey sweetie, has Oregan told you what the deal is" I whispered, Talison was sleeping in the bed toddler bed just beside Arlo's bed and I didn't want to risk waking him. The hotel room was 3 bed roomed which was use full for our family. " Yeah, she said she's feeling a little under the weather and she's not been paying attention to everything" he said, but for some reason neither of seemed convinced. " I don't believe her for one second Arlo" I sighed. " Try not to worry about her mom, I'll keep an eye on her" he offered, I hugged him " Thanks son" I said, I kissed his head and headed back for the living room.

"Where is she" I frowned as I scanned the room. " She's gone to bed" Bam told me, I was about to go and check on her but Bam pulled me back gently " Leave her for the night, talk to her in the morning" He kissed my head and pulled me into a hug,I rested my head on his chest "alright" I said. He took my hand and we headed to our room and called it a night. I really wanted to know what was wrong with Oregan but I knew it would be tricky as she was very good at hiding things from everyone...
