Love You

01:04, 8 February 2016

Misty's P.O.V

"Misty, don't do this!" Tracey burst into my room."Tracey, if I don't, I'll be deported. You and Dawn are fine because Ms. Johanna is already a citizen." I said."But I still love you!" He exclaimed."Cousin, leave her alone. She's not interested." Ash said, walking in behind Tracey.Tracey faced Ash and growled. "This is all your fault! I love her! You've only known her for a month! You don't love her! You just want the money!""Who says I just want her money?" Ash asked.

Dawn and I watched them with interest. What was he saying! Just shut up, Ash! God this was embarrassing.

"So you like her?!" Tracey shouted."Yea, I like her. So what?" Ash said."I won't allow this!" Tracey said."Tracey, dear. It's not your choice!" Ms. Johanna came in and pulled on his ear."Mom!" Tracey whined.

"Soooo, I was right." Dawn said."About what?" I asked."You guys like each other." She smirked."As if!" I scoffed.

Ash smiled and hugged me from behind. Oh god. I loved when he did that. It felt so good.

"Misty, I don't believe you." Ash whispered."Sh-shut up..." I blushed."I like you." He whispered."I know that." I grumbled."You like me, too, right?" He asked.

I didn't answer and pushed him away.

"Go away, Ash. You're bothering me" I said.Ash frowned. "But Misty-""Ash, go away! I'm tired!" I yelled.

Ash looked at me and then left. A few seconds later, the door of the apartment closed and I peeked out the window and watched him walk towards his apartment. I sighed and fell back on the bed.

"Misty, what was that?" Dawn asked."Um...I don't know..." I sighed."You don't like him?" She asked."I...do. But I just want to find my mom's grave and then find a job. I'm just going to divorce him when this is over, so why entertain his feelings?" I shrugged."Misty Waterflower, I know that is not how you feel." Dawn sassed."...am I obvious?" I asked, covering my face."You like him. You don't have to be embarrassed." Dawn stated."What if he's just playing me for the money?" I asked."Look, Misty. I haven't seen Ash that happy since...well, before his mom's death and that was seven years ago." Dawn said."Ugh...just slap me. I'm so mean." I said.Dawn sighed. "I'm not going to do that. Come on, want some noodles?" "Please..."

"Hey, is Ash here?" Ms. Johanna said, coming into her apartment where Dawn, Tracey, and I were eating some ramen cup noodles."No, why?" Dawn asked."I went to his apartment to give him some scallops that I picked up from the supermarket but he wasn't there." She said."What?" I exclaimed and stood up."I thought he'd be here." She said and put a bag on the table.

I whipped out my phone from my pocket and hurriedly called him. The phone rang and I held my breath in. Oh god, Ash. Please pick up.

"Hello?" Ash's voice came through and I sighed."Where are you?" I asked."What does it matter?" He asked."Ash! Just tell me!" I yelled."Are you worried, Misty?" I heard him smirk and I felt myself go weak in the knees."Shut...shut up! Just tell me where you are!" I blushed."I'm at-" He got cut off by the wind and the static hung us up."Ash? Ash?! Ugh." I threw on my coat and my boots.

"Wait, Misty! Where are you going? The blizzard is still coming on strong!" Tracey said."But Ash is out there! I know he'd do the same for me if I was out in a blizzard!" I said.

Dawn and her mom nodded in understanding while Tracey stared at me. Then he sat back down and continued eating his noodles.

"Do whatever you want." He muttered."I always do." I nodded and then ran outside.

"Ash?! Ash, where are you!" I screamed.

I trudged through the thick snow that had already gotten up to my knees. The wind was blowing in my eyes and I swear my eyelashes were frozen.

An hour passed and I still hadn't found Ash. My jacket was holding off on the snow and my boots were snowlogged. I was so tired and I haven't even seen him.

"Ash..." I mumbled. "Where are you?""Misty?" I heard and I turned my head slightly."Ash?" I muttered.

My legs were so weak that I couldn't stand anymore. I was so tired. Hmm...the snow is nice and fluffy...

"Misty, watch out!" Ash caught me before I plummeted into the snow. I burrowed into his jacket. God he felt so warm."Mmm...toasty." I whispered."How long have you been out here?" He asked, picking me up."I don't know...an hour?" I replied."An hour?! Misty, I'm getting you home!" He exclaimed."You're so warm, Ash." I said.

Ash looked down at me and I could feel his soft smile. He put his face close to me and kissed my cheek. I shivered, not from the cold, but from his touch.

"You love me, right, Misty?" He asked.I smiled, weakly. "Yea, I love you.""Will you marry me?" He asked."Aren't I already?" I asked."No, I mean, will you marry me for real? Not just for the visa." He explained."What? A-Ash!" I blushed and looked away.He laughed. "I love you, Misty.""I...I love you, too." I whispered, my face red as a tomato."Marry me?" He asked."....ok." I smiled."Yes! I got her!" He shouted, almost dropping me as he jumped around."Ash Ketchum! Stop!" I laughed."I'm just really happy, Misty." He laughed.

He leaned in close and I didn't even feel the snow around us as he kissed me.
