Death Isn't An Option
21:39, 30 May 2014"I see Raven has escaped. We can't have that now, can we?" Slade let his finger jab into the button as Robin gritted his teeth. He loved the way he got under the teen's skin. Slade loved to make him suffer. He didn't lift his finger from the button as Raven's cries could be heard from the room. "Where is she Slade?" Robin bit out, letting his anger get the best of him. He ran towards the metal-masked man and delivered a kick to his jaw. Slade's head cracked back, but he only laughed. "Oh Robin, you really think you can hurt me?" He launched a punch straight into Robin's stomach. The Titan dropped to his knees and coughed. Without Slade knowing, he took his ice disks and threw three of them straight at his face. Slade screamed and stepped back as the ice formed over his mask. Robin ran in the almost darkness to find a door. He came to one, opened it, and on the other side found a dark, slumped figure. "Raven?" He whispered, trying to get her attention. He checked her pulse and noted that she was freezing. Her heart beat was shallow, too shallow. He picked her up, noticing the knife in her thigh. He didn't want her to lose anymore blood, so Robin risked it and left the utensil there. He covered Raven in her cloak and searched for the exit he first cane through. He looked around for Slade, but found nothing. His stupid dissapearing acts. Robin found his way out and mounted his motorcycle, with Raven's small frame in his lap. As he drove his cycle, he noticed a familiar green light ahead of him. "Robin? Oh friend Robin, it is you! All of us have been worried to the point of sickness for you!" It was Starfire. Behind her was Beast Boy, and on the ground was Cyborg, in the T-car. He slowed himself to a hault in front of the Jump City Bank, and carried Raven over to the team. "Guys, we need to get Raven to the medical bay, now. Her pulse is fading as we speak." Robin's voice held a tinge of fear in it. Starfire simply nodded, took the girl, and flew off to the tower. "Dude, what happened, all I remember is the huge fight." Beast Boy walked up to the worried bird. "BB, right now's probably not the best time for Robin to explain, all our focus should be on Raven." Cyborg motioned for the changeling to get in the car. "Thanks guys. Raven's strong, and I know for her, death isn't an option." Robin mounted his cycle and drove off towards the tower. At least I hope it isn't.
