Red's first dinner and first night

Red happily skipped next to Shuu down the long hallway, she followed him down the stairs and into the dining room. She stopped at the entrance and looked around at the extravagant dining room, all the colors were a bit dark and made the room slightly ominous but that was no different from the entire manor. In fact, Red was the only bright and happy splotch of color in the entire manor, with her neon green and pure white outfit, along with her bright fiery red hair.

"Look at you." Laito suddenly appeared next to her.

Red looked up at him and smiled before twirling around in her dress, "Do you like it? How do I look?" She asks.

Laito smirks at her, "Cute." He says simply.

He was giving her that look she didn't like again. As though she was a meal, a simple snack for him, but she dismissed it and giggled at his compliment. It was probably just her imagination.

Red skipped to an empty seat that was between Shuu and Subaru. She climbed up on to the chair and sat on her knees in order to see everyone. Shuu was to her left, Subaru was to her right, then beyond Subaru was Reiji. Across from Red was Ayato, the to his left was Laito then Kanato.

As soon as Ayato noticed Red, he looked slightly surprised, probably because

Red was without her eye patch. Red looked away from Ayato, not making eye contact with anyone.

Her eyes landed on the delicious plate of food in front of her, a nice juicy steak, a half of a baked potato, and mixed veggies. Red's face instantly lit up like a Christmas tree, "Ah~ Thank you for the meal!" Red picked up her forked and started eating the potato and the veggies first, saving the steak for last. She had finished her potato and veggies long before any of the brothers, earning a few surprised looks. But when she came to her steak, she looked at the knife next to her plate and slightly shivered, she had a bad memory with knives and swore she wouldn't ever pick one up.

Looking at Shuu, she gently tapped his shoulder, "Shuu?"

Shuu turned his head to look at the small child. Red pointed at her steak and pushed her plate towards him, "Can you please cut my steak?" she asks politely.

Shuu sighs but takes his knife and cuts up her steak into bite sized pieces, "Thank you!" Red says happily.

Red was practically sleep walking, her stomach hadn't been this full in a long time, and she couldn't remember the last time she felt this clean.

As she was walking down the hallway, she noticed Laito was leaning next to her bedroom door.

"Hiya Doll-chan!" Laito says, with a sweet tone and a sickly sweet smirk.

Red paid no mind to his sickly sweet behavior, she gave him a happy close eyed smile and said, "Hiya Laito!"

"goin' to sleep already?"

"yeah, I'm tired."

Thunder echoed throughout the manor, making Red jump and pull her hood over her head.

"Scared of a little thunder, Doll-Chan?"

"Far from little! I hate these big storms."

Laito chuckles at the girl who peeked at him from under a red hood, "You know Doll-chan. You'd probably be safer out in-"

"Oh! Wait!" Red interupts him, "I have something for you!"

"For me?" Laito's smile disappears as he raises an eyebrow.

"Yeah! kneel down." Red points down in front of her.

"Why?"

"Just do it! Please?"

Laito looked at her then kneeled down on one knee, wary of what the ginger was planning.

"Good! Now, close your eyes." Red comands.

"What? Why?"

"Shush! Close them!"

Laito sighs then closes his eyes, that's when Red stood on her toes and gave him a peck on the cheek. Laito's eyes flew open, he starred at Red dumbfounded.

Red had a light blush on her cheeks and a shy smile, "Hehe~!" She giggles, "Goodnight Laito-kun!" Red then opens her door and disappears inside her room.

Outside the door, Laito still kneeled down with wide eyes at what had just happened. He stood up and stared at the door from which the young girl disappeared into, putting a hand over the spot where she had kissed him, he blushed a light pink.

This hadn't gone according to his plan whatsoever, his plan was to maker scared, to make her cry, scream, and bleed. But instead, this happened. An ever so slight smile found its way to his face, he felt a small fuzzy and warm feeling in his chest, and he kind of liked it.

"Nighty night, Doll-chan." He says, before walking down the dark hallway.

Red shivered under the covers, she was scared, the storm outside had gotten worse. Her window was rattling from the strong winds, and the doors were shaking from the louds clops of thunder.

She wished she wasn't alone, she wished one of the brothers was with her, Shuu, Reiji, possibly Laito.

Red crawled out of her bed and put on her red cloak, she pulled the hood over her head in hopes of feeling safer. She was still wearing the same dress she wore for dinner, since she couldn't change totally by herself.

She left her bedroom and started to wander the halls, she was looking for someone, ANYONE, to maybe just talk to, to help her get her mind off the storm.

she was terribly lost in the mansion now, so she opened up a random door. It lead to the library. She walked in and looked around, maybe Reiji would be here? To Red, he seemed like the kind of guy who liked to read a lot of books.

Red looked around the library, but instead of finding Reiji, she found Shuu instead, lying asleep on one of the many couches in the library, his head propted up by a pillow.

"Shuu?" She says.

No response, maybe he didn't hear her because of the the headphones?

"Sh-" Thunder suddenly sounded, making Red jump.

She squealed and crawled up onto the couch with Shuu. She crawled on top of Shuu and buried her face in his chest. Only AFTER she did this did Shuu finally half open his eyes. Looking at the frightened little girl on top of him. If she was scared of a storm, imagine how scared she would be if she found out what the brothers were?

Shuu took the jacket that usually would just hang off his shoulders and draped it over Red. This action made her look up at him, Shuu just wrapped an arm around her and muttered, "Go to sleep kid."

Red smiled and wiped the small tears from the corners of her eyes, then she put her head down and happily snuggled up to Shuu. For the first time in a very long time, she fell asleep with a smile of her face.
