20:56, 18 March 2025Jaeyun
I gritted my teeth.
So, this was a game to him?
Fine.
I'll fucking play.
I grabbed my jacket, ignoring the pounding headache, and stormed out of my apartment. My mind was racing, but one thing was clear, Heeseung had planned this. From the very beginning.
Sunoo, that little bastard, was working with him.
The boy I kidnapped wasn't just some random guy Heeseung met.
This was a setup.
I pulled out my phone and dialed Sunghoon. He picked up on the second ring.
"Jaeyun?" His voice was groggy, probably had just woken up.
"I need a favor," I said, my voice sharp. "Find Heeseung."
A pause. "...Heeseung?"
"Yes. Now."
Another pause. Then a sigh. "Jaeyun, you sound like you're about to commit murder."
I smiled coldly. "That's the plan."
⸻
Heeseung
Jungwon leaned back against my desk, scrolling through his phone. "Sunghoon's looking for you."
I smirked. "Of course, he is."
"Jaeyun's pissed," he continued, eyes flicking up to meet mine. "Like, actually pissed. You sure he won't snap?"
I tilted my head. "That's the fun part, isn't it?"
Jungwon sighed, shaking his head. "You're insane."
"Mm." I leaned back in my chair, spinning my phone between my fingers. "He's always been so sure that he owned me." My lips curled into a grin. "It's cute."
Jungwon snorted. "You're a fucking menace."
I chuckled, tossing my phone onto the desk.
Jaeyun thinks he's the predator, but he's never realized,
I've been watching him long before he ever started watching me.
And now, it was time to see what happens when the prey realizes the hunter has been behind him all along.
⸻
Jaeyun
"Hyung."
I glanced at Sunghoon through the rearview mirror as I sped through the streets.
"Heeseung's at his apartment," he said, checking his phone. "But Jungwon's there with him."
I clenched my jaw. "Doesn't matter."
Sunghoon sighed. "You sure you wanna do this?"
I didn't answer. I didn't need to.
Because this wasn't about wanting.
This was about taking back what's mine.
And if Heeseung thought he could outplay me-
He had no idea what I was capable of.
Heeseung tasted the same, sweet, dangerous, intoxicating. But this time, there was something else beneath it.
Victory.
He was enjoying this.
That pissed me off.
I yanked him closer, pressing him against the wall, my fingers gripping his jaw. He let me, he always let me, but the smirk on his lips never wavered.
"You think you're so fucking smart," I muttered against his lips.
His breath was steady, calm. "I don't think, Jaeyun. I know."
My grip tightened.
Heeseung's eyes gleamed with amusement. "You're mad."
"No shit."
I kissed him again, harder this time, forcing him to stop talking, forcing him to feel me. But he didn't fight back. He let me take control, let me push him against the cold surface behind him,
Because he knew something I didn't.
The realization hit me too late.
The second I pulled back, his smirk widened. "You're so easy, darling."
A sharp sting shot through my neck.
I stumbled back, my vision tilting, my fingers grazing the skin where something sharp had pricked me.
"What... the fuck..."
Heeseung stepped forward, his fingers gently trailing over my cheek as I struggled to stay upright.
"You should be more careful," he murmured, voice dripping with mock concern. "Rushing in without thinking? That's so unlike you, Jaeyun."
My knees buckled. The world blurred.
Heeseung caught me before I hit the ground, his arms wrapping around me in a mock embrace.
"You wanted to remind me who I belong to?" He chuckled, his lips brushing against my ear. "How ironic."
The last thing I saw was his smile before everything went black.
⸻
Heeseung
Jaeyun slumped against me, completely unconscious.
I sighed dramatically. "You always make things so difficult, darling."
I turned to find Jungwon standing by the door, arms crossed, one eyebrow raised. "Was that really necessary?"
I grinned. "He needed to learn his place."
Jungwon rolled his eyes. "You do realize he's going to kill you when he wakes up, right?"
I glanced down at Jaeyun, running a hand through his hair almost affectionately. His breathing was even, his lips slightly parted.
Beautiful.
"You don't get it, Jungwon," I murmured. "He won't kill me."
Jungwon scoffed. "And why's that?"
I smiled, tracing my fingers over Jaeyun's pulse.
"Because he loves me too much to do it."
Jungwon stared at me for a long moment before sighing. "You're both insane."
I laughed, shifting Jaeyun's weight in my arms. "I know."
And the best part?
So does he.
