The prize

Krystal's POV

"So, Harry, are you even ready for the Triwizard tournament?" I asked as we both were walking around the corridors of after all the Monday subjects were over. "I don't think I'll ever be", he firmly said. "I understand that", I replied.

"You'll always be a winner in my eyes", I quoted his words. "T-thanks", he shyly said. I could see a tint of pink on his cheeks ; he was blushing. That made me so embarrassed but happy at the same time? The butterflies in my stomach started to increase. "I'll try to win. For the sake of my survival", he said, "and for you. So I can make you proud". He smiled radiantly and genuinely. He tried not to show it though as he was still shy. "You're too good", he said. "I'm not", I whispered to myself, though it was loud enough to be heard by him because of the lack of sound. "You are", he said, staring at my eyes.

I couldn't help but smile. I mean, how could you not?! When your crush fucking looks at you in a way that you'll never forget?!

I didn't know what was happening as he started to lean closer to me. I was in such a state of shock but kept it to myself. He was leaning very close as if he was about to kiss me. And he did.

I had to take in what was happening for a while before finally kissing him back. I couldn't believe what was happening. My heart was beating rapidly and I found it hard to catch a breathe. I was so shocked.

My knees felt weak as I melted into the kiss. My crush, Harry Potter, just kissed me. I smiled in between.

He was the one to pull away. We both became really shy and flustered. "Uhm....", he started, looking down with a blush and a smile on his face. I took a deep breathe before managing to say something. "I-I have class now. I'll talk to you later?" I asked. "I'd like that", he said, finally meeting my gaze.

I hugged him before finally leaving to get to my class.

Draco's POV

I looked as Krystal talked about the TriWizard tournament with Harry. I hated it. All their 'love' talk was grossing me out. It was really annoying me.

But what made me even more mad was when Harry started to lean in.

Don't tell me he's about to kiss her

Krystal definitely looked surprised, and I was just as surprised. Did he move on from Cho this fast?!

I furrowed my eyebrows in an anticipation to see what happens. My eyes widened when they finally kissed. I couldn't help but feel a huge sting on my heart. Seeing the girl I like with the guy I hate?! It was a feeling like no other. It was jealousy.

I clenched my fists at the sight. It made me furious. I wanted to just expose my presenc to them and go off but then that'd hurt Krystal's feelings ; which I didn't want to do. I decided to do so once she left.

When she did, I quickly ran to Harry and grabbed his collar as I glared at him. He was shocked, and I was angry.

"You stay the fuck away from her!" I groaned. "I fucking like her, Malfoy. So you should be the one staying away", he said. "You think I don't like her too?!" I exclaimed. "I didn't know your taste in girls suddenly became good", he replied. I tighten my grip on his collar. "Shut up. She's mine", I argued. "She's not your girlfriend, Malfoy. Too bad", he said. "Potter, you'll see very soon. She's not mine, yet", I said, "but she will. Mark my words."

TIME SKIP

Krystal's POV

"Eleanor", I heard someone call out. I looked back and it was Draco...of course.

"What?" I asked. "I know what I want as a prize", he said. "Ok? And what will that be?" I quizzed. He smirked.

"I want you to be my girlfriend."

My jaw dropped. "I'm sorry?!" I asked, thinking I didn't hear right. "You heard me", he smiled. "I. Want. You. To. Be. My. Girlfriend", I said, "you caught that?"

I gulped and was confused as fuck. My mind became spinning, I couldn't ducking believe a day like this would come to my life. I just kissed my crush Harry Potter and now Draco Malfoy is asking me to be his girlfriend?!

What the hell?!

"But why?!" I spat out. "Because I want to, dumbass", he said. "B-but", I stuttered, still confused and overwhelmed. "No buts!" He said. "Are you playing with me, Malfoy?!" I asked. "Nope. This is as real as it gets", he said. I messaged my head to indicate how surprised and confused I am. "You have to do it by the ways", he said.

"I know. So you want us to be a fake couple?!" I asked. He nodded. "Why'd you call it fake?" He chuckled. "Because I don't like you. And I doubt you like me so yeah I guess we're a fake couple now. I'm your fake girlfriend and you're my fake boyfriend", I muttered. He looked quite hurt, but then shook it off. "Ok then, girlfriend. But just one more thing : you're not allowed to tell anyone that what we have is fake and just a prize for a bet", he said. "Can't I tell Luna? You know she won't talk about it to anyone else", I said. He nodded in agreement.

"But his can't go on for so long right?!" I asked. "Mhm...I don't know", he said. "Please just make it temporary. Please", I said. He bought of it for a while before finally saying something. "Alright, you'll only have to be my fake girlfriend from today until the end of Easter holidays. That means 2 weeks and 1 day since tomorrow itself is the start of the holidays", Draco explained. I nodded in approval. "But of course, I'll be staying at your muggle house in your muggle city during Easter holidays. How else am I gonna see you?" He stated. My jaw dropped again. He can't be serious?! He wants to spend Easter holidays with me?! "Uhm...sure? My mom won't mind. And my dad, he's out of the country", I answered. He nodded. "I'll tell my parents", he said.

"God, this can't be real", I whispered to myself as I face palmed. "It is", he whispered back.

TIME SKIP

We arrived for dinner in the great hall. He gave me a smirk before we sat down at our seats. After a while, Draco came standing up and using a spell to make his voice loud and clear so that the whole hall could hear his voice. "What's he doing now?" I asked in curiosity. He gave me a smirk and shot a glare to Harry. All the teachers were just as curious on what he was about to say. He looked at them for approval to say something and Dumbledore didn't seem to mind so he said what he wanted to say.

He fake coughed to ensure that everyone's attention was on him. "Ok, I have an important announcement so you all better listen", he said.

"I, Draco Malfoy is now dating the one and only Krystal Eleanor who is sitting in the Ravenclaw table. And I know a lot of you goons hit on her and stuff so I'm saying this loud and clear. Stay. The. Hell. Away. From. Her. She's mine. And I swear, boys, if you're not at least 30 centimeters from her, you'd hear it for me. Now go continue eating your goddamn dinner", he announced.

And really, all hell broke loose. Everyone was gasping, shouting and looking at me. I face palmed. I couldn't believe he'd do such a thing. Actually, he would, he's Draco Malfoy. But still.

I inhaled sharply as I get attacked with many screams and got bombarded with questions. Draco too.

"Silencio!" Dumbledore shouted and everyone became silent. Though, a few minutes later, the noise broke out and Snape was the one shouting Silencio this time. And thankfully, the curse wasn't broken again. I was so embarrassed. I've never felt so embarrassed in my whole life before.

When dinner ended, me and Draco immediately got swarmed by the Hogwarts students. Tarter what felt like hours, they left us alone after asking tons of questions. It was like we both were celebrities.

I had told Luna everything, including of course how we weren't a real couple. And then, the trio approached me. "Blood hell, Krystal! I can't believe you're dating Malfoy! I'm ashamed of you", Ron protested. "I have to go with Ron on this one", Hermione agreed.

Harry looked so astonished. Like he couldn't believe it more than anyone else. "This can't be real. Krystal, tell me it's not real", he begged. "I'm sorry but it is", I said. "Do you actually love him?" He asked. It was so hard to get the words out of my mouth, I felt like tearing up. I didn't want to say I'm in love with someone when I'm not, especially not infront of the one whom I actually love. It felt wrong. My mouth was dry. There was a long pause before I said something. "Yes, I'm in love with him".
