VI - Invasion

The pirate fleet finally reached their destination and proceeded to ambush the Sunnova Station. It's taking them a while to travel with hyper speed. Mop aliens are in their position to prevent them, along with Admiral Tarung, Captain Kaizo, and other Tempur-A soldiers. So many spacecraft attempt to shoot the weak spots of the pirate spacecraft. Of course, they destroy the little spacecraft as a reply.

The sounds of clashing swords resonated on the battlefield. Commander Koko Ci could sense the tension, monitoring from the control station. Everything is going well, just like Captain Kaizo told them. However, it feels strange. There are no signs of the Ziorta's ship, the main spacecraft. It should have been here right now. That thought kind of irritates him.

"Where is that ship?" He mumbles while monitoring.

He had a feeling that he would do the same thing Vargoba did. But that's impossible, TAPOPS defense system has been upgraded since that attack. It's still bugging him.

"Contact TAPOPS now!"

A beeping sound came from Boboiboy's wrists, and he opened the hologram call as soon as possible. Looks like it's essential.

"Yes, Commander?" Boboiboy replies.

Commander questions half-aloud, "Boboiboy! Any sign of Ziorta?!"

"We haven't caught any signals of him yet." The cadet answers.

"Strange... His ship should've been here a while ago!" Commander comments.

Gopal overheard the call and exhaled, "Perhaps he's just late to the party..."

Koko Ci heard those utters and quickly scolded him, "What did you just say, cadet?!"

That shout made Gopal wake and flinched, "N-Nothing, Commander."

Yaya approaches Boboiboy and says, "But, Commander, what Gopal said is true. There might be a chance that he could sneak out his way."

"If you spoke about sneaking, Stealthbot has been secured here for months. That is impossible. Chances are low." Fang differs in her opinion.

"What you two just spoke is correct." He agrees, "Nut!"

Their engineer heard the summoning and saluted, "Yes, Commander!"

"How's the upgraded shield?"

"The shield has increased its power to 100% and has been activated for hours. For now, there are no signs of scratch on it." Nut speaks.

"Hmm... I see. Just stay cautious, all of you. The Pirate King might have been hiding somewhere far to plan a surprise attack. Don't slack. That means YOU, Gopal." Koko Ci warns.

Gopal heard that warning and rose from his slumber, "O-Of c-course, Commander!"

"Well, then. Be careful guarding there."

Far from the TAPOPS Station, a giant ship slowly floats in space, halting its engine. There was a vast cannon installed on it, aiming at the station. The cannon starts to glow, ready to fire. It bursts a giant electromagnetic fireball. The station couldn't sense the incoming attack.

BOOM!

Everyone inside the station stumbles to the floor due to the sudden attack.

Boboiboy gets up and utters, "W-What was that?!"

Nut scurries to the monitor and checks. The results made his eyes widen, "I-Impossible. That's impossible!"

Fang was shocked at his expression, "W-What's up?!"

"The... The shield power is now on 50%!"

"What?! How?!" Boboiboy said half aloud.

Nut stutters, "I-I don't know. Something powerful must have hit-"

"AAAHH!!"

Everyone heard that shriek, and it was Gopal. He's been staring at the window with his jaws on the floor.

"Gopal, What's wrong?!" Yaya queries half-aloud.

"I-I-I-I-INCOMING!" Gopal announces.

Boboiboy's eyes widen, and he shouts, "BRACE!"

BOOM!

The fireball lands on the shield once again, and the shield completely fades away. The power is now 0%. It's broken. Seeing the success, the ship marches its way to the station in damaged condition. The giant boat dives underneath it, and the pirate king emerges from his nest. The whole crew rejoices in their success. The pirate slowly places his power sphere inside the cannon, causing it to glow.

Meanwhile, inside the station, everybody on board slowly rises and gathers. All they could hear was the alarm. The shield is gone, and there's nothing they could do except fight.

"Everyone okay?!" Boboiboy queries half-aloud.

Ying responds, "We... We're okay, Boboiboy!"

"Nut! How is it?!" Shielda, the green girl with a shield, questions.

"It's gone..." He mumbles, "The shield is gone..."

Gopal cries, scared, "W-W-What do we do?! Were doomed! We can't possibly fight those pirates, right?!"

Fang replies to his big friend, "We have no choice!

"Nut! Send the S.O.S to Commander!" Boboiboy commands.

"Alright!"

Nut types something on the keyboard and the help signal has been sent to Sunnova Station. Everybody braces themselves for any incoming movements. Fang hides Nut and Ochobot behind the shadow he created. Suddenly, Gopal senses something beneath his shoes.

"E-Eh?! Aah! Hot, hot, hot! Hot!" Gopal cries and dashes around the room, "Help, Boboiboy!"

Fang also felt something the same thing. He witnesses the floor start changing its color to bright yellow, and it's getting hotter.

"Is...Is this..."

Not knowing what happened, everyone starts escaping the color-changing floor.

Boboiboy observes, "The floor is kind of burned with a fire or something like that. What do you think, Ying?"

"If it's Apibot, that's absurd. The power sphere is in our possession. This is something else." Ying comments.

After a long thought, they didn't notice that room was slowly getting warmer. Sweats dripped on their faces.

"Is it just me, or is this room just getting hotter and hotter," Yaya speaks.

"Is the sun getting closer at us?"

Suddenly, the pipe in the room starts to blow up its steam due to the high room temperature. The floor is getting brighter and about to explode.

"Everyone, GET AWAY!"

Suddenly, fire explodes beneath the floor. Good thing that the kids managed to get away from it. The base became a giant burned hole. Boboiboy slowly opened his eyelids, and what did he see? The pirate king himself. His colossal body is similar to Vargoba.

"Finally... Power spheres..."

"Pirate King... Ziorta?" Boboiboy mentions his name.

Commander Koko Ci monitors the ongoing battle on Sunnova Station. The good thing is that the pirate fleet is gradually falling. Captain Kaizo single-handled eliminated the whole crew on a ship flawlessly. The fact that he was assisted by Ramenman kind of irritates him. There was also Admiral Tarung, who took down most of the fleet. The Commander saw this as a success.

"Commander! The pirate fleets are retreating!" Kaizo informs.

"Great! Maintain this situa-"

Suddenly, a hologram with an S.O.S warning shows up, coming from TAPOPS. The pirate king didn't come to Sunnova. Instead, he went for the power spheres. He wanted to send someone there, but the problem was the station was far away from Sunnova. What should he do?

"Everyone! TAPOPS Station is under attack!" Koko Ci announces.

"WHAT?!"

Tarung shouts at the communicator, "HOW?!"

Commander replies to the angry Admiral, "It seems like Ziorta has planned on using a sneak attack. He destroyed the upgraded shield, and now the station has been infiltrated! Someone must go there, yet the problem is they're too far!"

"We couldn't even use the teleportation! Ochobot's there!" Kaizo speaks.

Ramenman questioned, "What do we do?! We could fly there with the hyperspeed, but it would take time!"

"Also, we need more assistance to fight him! Does anyone know any individual who could fight him?" Commander continues.

To be honest, Kaizo knew someone. Yet, he would never know if they were able to assist the battle. According to him, they're capable enough. Not to mention their location, someone he knew was on Earth. Takes approximately 30 minutes to reach there. Would he be able to get there in time? It's risky.

"Commander!" The captain mentions.

"Yes, captain?!"

"I know someone who could!"

The big pirate king laughs boisterously as he learns which person defeated his brother, a kid. A bunch of puny kids.

"I could not believe...that my brother lost himself...to a kid. Damn kids!"

"What do you want from us, huh?!" Boboiboy raises his voice.

The pirate grins, "Oh~ What I want, huh..."

His group of pirates starts to chuckle as a form of mocking. That made the kids upset about the discrimination they had just received. Ochobot quickly flew himself to Yaya's back for protection.

"Now I know what I want!" Ziorta raises his voice, "POWER SPHERES! And!" He adds, "I want to avenge my brother's loss. With that, I must eradicate you."

Gopal objects, "Why must you fight us?! He's the one who attacked this station!"

"And all of you are the cause." Ziorta speaks towards Boboiboy, "Let me tell you this one thing, TAPOPS. If only you knew the consequences of ambushing our colony, I think none of this would ever happen."

"Ish, ish, ish... What's the thing with this past story, huh?! Just let the past be in its own place, lah!" Papa Zola spats.

Hearing those comments, Ziorta attacks him from afar with a lava shot. Everyone witnessed it. That attack left him to slump on metal carts.

Boboiboy went furious, "How dare you! Boboiboy Thunderstorm!!"

He summons the anger side of his elemental power and quickly dashes toward the pirate king. Ziorta could easily see his movements and just slapped him away. He quickly gets up and slashes him anywhere he can reach. Those attacks could do nothing other than scratch his armor.

It's a very thick armor made of volcanic materials from Lavabot. The scratches Boboiboy plant on it could be easily rematerialized. He quickly creates a tornado of red thunder, attempting to pressure attacking him.

"Thunderstorm Vortex!"

Unfortunately, Ziorta quickly summons a volcanic stone shield that protects him from the thunderstorm attack.

Meanwhile, Yaya picks up any nearby heavy metal things with the others and throws them to the pirate crews. Ying aims to slow down the time on her are and fast-attacking the pirates. With his shadow hands, Fang could slap multiple crews to the wall and make them unable to stand on their feet. Gopal shot his green lasers and turned the pirates into any sweet treats he liked-candies, biscuits, wafers-anything he could think of. Until all the pirates are defeated, Boboiboy still struggles with their king.

He turned himself into Boboiboy Earthquake, and it was more effective. He should've used this earlier. However, not enough to weaken his opponent's strength.

"You...damn brat! Still not giving up on your useless attempts?! Fine!"

He crumbles the rock giant with only his fist. Ziorta begins to summon a lava ring around his body. Those kids don't know what he's doing, yet they kept their feet cautious.

"Volcano...Wrath!"

The lava explodes from its ring, making the kids keel over due to the tremendous power and heat. It only lasts for minutes. Once the flame fades away, they can't see a thing. Everything around them turns grey, only some particles flying around them. They could also hear Ziorta's laughter echoing in the entire room.

"What...is this?" Fang speaks.

Gopal sniffs the air in curiosity, "Smells like...rotten eggs...gross..."

On the other hand, Yaya and Ying could quickly identify the smell, leaving them horrified, "VOLCANIC ASH?!"

"E-Everyone, don't bre-!" Boboiboy, who was about to warn everyone, suddenly coughed.

Fang, already on the ground and weakened, speaks, "Too...late...Boboiboy..."

Unfortunately, they had already breathed the ashes and got choked by them. Once everything becomes silent, Ziorta fades the clouds of dust away. The results of his actions are encouraging. He couldn't help but laugh. He also had Ochobot in his possession. To think this metal ball is a thing Vargoba is crazed about.

"Finally, Boboiboy..." Ziorta struts his way to Boboiboy's body, "With this, I could finally avenge Vargoba's defeat. What a straightforward win!"

He aims his hand above him.

"Prepare to DIIEE-"

"Amber Slash!"

A big slash just marked Ziortas colossal body. Not only that, blood spurted from his body. Did the incision really damage his ar'mor?

"Who...WHO?!" Ziorta eyes on his surroundings.

"I am."

Boboiboy and Fang went conscious, and they recognized that voice. A man with a blue and red uniform and a mask on his head struts his way towards the pirate king. It's their captain.

"Ca-Captain Kaizo?!" Fang and Boboiboy were shocked.

"Y-YOU?!"

Kaizo speaks, "There is no reason to know who I am."

Fang speaks to Boboiboy, "Boboiboy...The S.O.S...It reached the Commander."

"Oh, come on, Kaizo. It won't be fun if you get all the fun."

Boboiboy knew that feminine voice, "Nerissa?!"

She positions herself beside the captain. She looked behind her to check their condition until she caught Boboiboy's eyes.

"You did well, Boboiboy. You can rest now."

Nerissa focuses on what is in front of her right now. It's a humongous alien, which Kaizo called the pirate king.

"Captain Kaizo? Are you sure we're going to fight...that thing?" Nerissa questions.

"Having cold feet?"

She responds, "Well, not really."

"Let's make this beast fall on his knees."
