Bambi on ice ⛸

I ran down the stairs and passed three of brothers before running out the door and hugging Mason.

"Hi!" I squeeled as he laughed and hugged me back.

"Hi creeper!"

"How have you been?" I asked.

"Good, you?"

"Better now." I laughed as we started making our way down the street towards- well I don't know where I'm going.

"Where we going?" I asked speaking my thoughts while swinging our arms back and forth as we walked.

"Supriseee." He said messing up my pattern and then going back and then messing it up again.

"Stop doing that! I've got a rhythm going, and I want to knowwww." I whined as he pretended not to hear me.

"Please."

"No."

"Please."

"No."

Pleaseee."

"Noooo."

"Fine!"

"N- good!"

(Time skip to outside the bloody place.)

"Ice skating!" I squeeled happily as he smiled at my reaction.

"Yeah, I'm actually pretty good."

"Okay well your gonna have to help me because I've never been!" I said awkwardly as he laughed and nodded.

We walked into the building and looked around for where you could pay and when we finally found it we payed for our tickets.

Then after asking the lady where to go we walked too rent our skates which wasn't as stressful as I thought it would be.

And then we walked over to a bench while I watched Mason tie his laces and then tie mine for me.

And then finally the best part! We actually got on the ice. Well.. Mason did.

"You won't die Addie I promise!" Mason said trying to coach me on as I stood in the entrance.

"You sure?" I asked shuffling forwards when I was grabbed and lifted onto the ice.

"Positive!"

"Mason! Wait- this isn't funny." I breathed out clinging to him as he turned me around and held me by my arm and waist making sure I didn't fall before starting to slowly skate.

I breathed in and out trying to console myself while he skated holding onto me.

"Watch my feet, you push one against the ice like this yeah? Then you quickly push the other one to stay blanced. It's like walking but dragging your feet."

As he explained I slowly started to copy his movements slowly.

"See now your getting it!" He said making me smile.

"Hey I'm actually doing it!" I exclaimed happily as I heard him chuckle from next to me.

We spent the next ten minutes like the same but slowly making progress.

As I started to get more confident I felt his hands slowly let go of me and I froze like bambi on ice.

"Wait- I didn't sign you for this!" I yelled turning around to find him around six feet away from me.

"Skate to me." He said casually as I started to shake my head slowly.

"Mason! Come here right now." I said as he stood there not listening.

I closed my eyes for a second trying to gather the courage before slowly pushing one foot forwards and then catching myself with the other.

"Mason! I'm doing it! I'm actually doing it!"I yelled looking down at my feet before crashing into him.

Obviously I fell straight back but didnt bother to grace the ice with my presence because I was caught.

"Thank you." I said breathlessly looking between him and the ice.

"Your welcome sweetheart." He jokes winking at me before hoisting me back up. "Listen let's try this, I'm not gonna hold yo-"

"No."

"I'm not gonn-"

"No."

"I'm not gonna hold you but I will be right next to you ready incase you do fall." He finished quickly while covering my mouth.

"Fineee." I grumbled as we started to move again. "Hey I'm quite good at this!"

"See you getting it!"

I pretended to fall a little and he immediately grabbed me as I laughed.

"Just checking your reaction time." I muttered as he laughed next to me.

We finally got of the ice and decided to get a hot chocolate because it was freezingggg.

He gave me his hoodie even though I objected but In the end I gave in.

"Okay Addie, I didn't want to ask your this on the ice.." Mason said looking between me and the cup as I smiled. "But do you wanna be my girlfriend?"

"Hmmmm." I hummed tapping my chin like I was thinking about it as he crossed his arms and I smiled. "Of corse!"

We both smiled happily before he put his arm around my side and pulled me closer to him hugging me tightly.

"How are we going to tell everyone else this?" I muttered.

"Umm.. let's ask if they wanna go somewhere now..? We can suttidly bring it up. And that's not a excuse so we can stay together for longer." He suggested and I smiled shaking my head before nodding.

"Fineee. But your bringing it up." I muttered as he playfully rolled his eyes and pulled his phone out still hugging each other from the side.
