they seperate after the kiss and both turn around to see chloe and chris watching. their mouths are wide open in shock and can't seem to speak.

kaia hides her face in her hands and matt picks her shoes up off the ground.

chris and chloe walk towards them after they've gathered themselves.

"oh, hey guys." matt scratches his neck.

"matthew." chris laughs.

kaia takes the shoes from matt's hand and sits down on the ground to put them back on. she stands up and walks over to chloe.

"nothing to see here. let's get back to the party." kaia smiles and drags chloe by the hand inside.

they didn't realize that the people who were recording kaia chugging the vodka on the two guy's shoulders also got the argument and kiss on camera. atleast nick didn't get it in the vlog.

"what the hell happened?" chris asks matt as they follow the girls inside.

"i don't know what you're talking about." matt shrugs.

chris looks at him and they both start laughing. kaia and chloe go up to the bar and ask for two cups of water.

they sit on the barstools and chris sits beside chloe, matt next to kaia.

"i was gonna get you water if you didn't." matt says to her.

"i've drank a lot so far." kaia tucks her hair behind her ear and takes a sip of her water.

"so far?" he asks with a laugh.

"yeah, i gotta sober up a bit then have a little more. it's only 11." she says, checking her phone.

"take it easy, you're gonna want to remember your 18th birthday." he says.

"i don't care." she shrugs and stands up to leave the bar.

she walks towards the main dance room with the dj and spots tara dancing with nick holding the vlog camera.

matt follows her like a puppy and chris stays with chloe at the bar.

"tara!!" she shouts in excitement.

tara grabs her hand and spins kaia in a circle and they dance together to woman by doja cat.

matt stands next to nick and talks to the camera.

"i finally managed to get her to put her shoes on!" matt shouts over the loud music.

nick laughs and turns off the recording, he puts the camera back in his cross body bag he's carrying.

kaia and tara dance together as more girls join them, the music deafening. madi walks up to the group and has to yell to get kaia to hear her.

"when are we giving you your presents?!" she shouts.

"i totally forgot about that!" she smiles and stops dancing.

nick gathers everyone who bought kaia gifts in a corner with chairs. she sits in the middle and people crowd around to watch her open her gifts.

nick sets up the vlog camera on a tripod so he doesn't have to use his hands and points it towards where kaia is sitting.

"me first!" chloe says.

she hands kaia a medium sized box and she happily rips open the wrapping paper, revealing multiple bottles of ink and a new tattoo gun.

"you're the best, chloe!" kaia shouts and stumbles up to give her a hug.

matt grabs her hand to guide her back to her seat without tipping over. he sits in the chair next to her and hands her a small bag.

kaia giggles and pulls out a picture frame made up of all sorts of crystals, the photo from his room inside. he flattened it out with a hair straightener and handmade the frame; he went to a crystal store and bought all the prettiest ones and hot glued them to a frame.

kaia smiles so hard she feels like her mouth will fall off. the camera didn't quite catch what it was because she put it back in the bag the second she realized what it was.

her and matt stand up out of their chairs and he engulfs her in an enormous hug, lifting her off the ground.

nick, chris, and chloe all cheer for them as they sit back down, chris handing her a big bag next.

she opens it and sees the all pink fresh love sweat suit set and she starts squealing and hugs him.

"oh my gosh, i wanted the pink so bad but i didn't want to pay for it!" she cheers and sits back down.

"i was gonna give it to you when we released it but i wanted it to be a gift." he says.

"i love it!" she shouts over the noise.

"me next!" nick happily hands her a small box.

she opens it and almost starts crying when she sees a rose gold pendant, opening it to reveal a picture marylou took of their first day of second grade; nick, matt, chris, and kaia all standing together outside the school hugging eachother.

"nick, i'm gonna cry." she laughs.

nick stands up to hug her and she kisses his cheek.

"i love it so much." she smiles.

matt grabs the necklace and kaia lifts her hair to let him put it on easier. she walks up close to the camera and shows it the locket, nick adjusts the camera to get the photo in focus.

lastly, nate hands her a bag with sparkly pink tissue paper and she throws it around her. she grabs a 6 pack of sugar free redbull that he and chloe bedazzled with jewels.

everyone starts laughing and nate hugs kaia, she shows the camera the gift.

"i really had no idea what to get you." he laughs again.

"i love it!" she shouts.

she cracks open a can and everyone cheers as the crowd moves back towards the dj and all the music.

matt grabs all her gifts and takes them out to his car so they don't get stolen or lost.

nick turns off the camera and follows kaia, chloe, chris, and nate.

she finishes the can and realizes she doesn't want to throw out the sparkly can. nick takes it from her and puts it in his bag so it doesn't get lost or crushed.

everyone dances to save your tears by the weeknd and ariana grande as kaia makes her way back to the bar, hitting her vape while walking.

her, chloe, tara, jake, and johnnie all do a couple rounds of shots together before tara drags kaia onto the dance floor.

some guy that kaia doesn't recognize comes up behind her and tries to dance with her.

tara and everyone else was distracted and didn't notice it. she turns around to look at him but can't tell who it is because her eyes won't settle in one place from all the drinking.

"how are you doing, baby?" he asks in a slightly creepy voice.

"do- do i knowww youu?" she slurs.

"you can get to know me." he smiles and attempts to grab her waist but she stumbles back.

matt comes back inside from taking her presents to the car and sees her talking to the guy, but doesn't think much of it; he must be a friend.

he approaches the group and notices that the guy keeps getting closer and closer to her.

"what's wrong? you're 18 now, we can do whatever you want, baby." matt hears the guy say.

he steps between the two and holds kaia's hand behind him.

"who are you? who invited you?" matt asks loudly.

"free country, isn't it?" he mocks.

"you need to leave. don't try to touch her again." matt says sternly.

"what are you gonna do about it, mister youtuber? you her boyfriend or something?" he asks in a nasty tone.

"get the fuck out, man." matt shouts at him.

by this time, security had noticed the group forming around the two boys arguing and were heading over to stop a fight from errupting.

"c'mon kid, you're leaving." two security guards say, dragging the kid by each of his arms and throwing him out of the building.

they wait outside for a few minutes to make sure he leaves and they return back inside once they know he's gone.

everyone continues partying and nick vlogs lots, people start leaving by 2am and almost everyone except their closest friends are gone by 3.

kaia at this point is blackout drunk with a bunch of girls and passed out on the couches, the triplets sit around them to keep them safe.
