Brain connection thingy

Song: The call - Regina Spektor

Gabriel's POV:

"Gabe, Sam's here!" Cassie yelled from downstairs. My eyes widened as I jumped up off the floor running as fast as my new shoes could take me.

My new shoes were red with blue wings on the sides, and guess what... They light up! They make me run so fast, like seriously.

I ran super fast to the door where Sam was. He had his Batman backpack with him, it was so cool. He was gonna spend the night at my house, can you believe it?

"Gabe!" He smiled. His smile is so cute. Whenever he smiled his little nose did this cute thing that made me giggle; it made me wish that Cassie could see just so he could see Sam's cute smile. And Dean, I wish that he could see Dean.

"Heya Sammy, look at my new shoes!" I yelled holding up my foot as high as I could so he could see it better. His eyes widened when he saw them, his mouth open in awe.

"Woah, are those light up sketcher's?"

"Yeah, aren't they sick?"

"No. I think they look pretty healthy."

"No Sam, sick means, like, really really cool."

"Oh, then they are sick!"

"Awesome! Wanna play G.I. Joe's?"

"Yeah, I brought Kenny, my Dino. He's a raptor." Sam said, looking very proud of himself.

"Woah man, that's totally rad! Let's get a snack and then play in my room!" I smiled, whispering the snack part. I wasn't supposed to snack before dinner. He nodded vigorously before following me into the kitchen where I snagged a bag of gold fish before running up to my room, glad that mom and her bulging belly weren't there to spoil my secret snack time.

We pushed past Dean and Cassie, giggling and making kissy noises and fishey faces while we ran. It was really funny when Dean's ears turned red and Cassie rolled his eyes. His eyes are like, wicked cool! They're really blue and foggy. I wish my eyes were cool, my eyes are the color of the Carmel syrup Cassie always gets on his ice cream. (I prefer chocolate syrup, just like Sammy.)

"Hey, dad said that he'd take us to go get ice cream later, then we can go to the park!" I said really fast, jumping onto my bed and grabbing my G.I. Joe.

"Woah, your dad is the best." Sammy yelled, holding up his hand for a high five. I hit his hand as hard as I could, which really hurt, but I pretended that it didn't hurt cause I'm tough like that.

"Woah, that was like, the most epic high five that I've ever gotten!"

"I know right, I was thinking the same thing!"

"Really? We must have like a brain connection thingy that makes us think the same things!"

"Woah, that's so awesome! Do you think Cassie and Dean have the same brain connection thingy?" I furrowed my brow, chewing on my lip.

"I don't know, probably. Let's go ask them."

"Good idea." Sammy said, putting his backpack on the floor and leading me out of the room. We ran through the hallway and stopped at Cassie's door. I turned the handle and let myself in, Sammy right behind me.

Oh. My. Goodness. Gracious. Cassie had his face on Dean's face. Ew! That's probably really unsanitary.

"Cassie, what are you doing?" I asked loudly, Sam nodded and tilted his head the same way Cas did when he was confused.

Cas yelped as Dean jumped away from him, his face turning pink. Sammy's eyes widened.

"We're you kissing?" He asked, his face scrunched up. Dean cleared his throat and reached behind us, closing the door as cas shushed Sam.

"Yes, we were, but you can't tell mom, okay?" Cas said, reaching out his hand toward me. I grabbed it and he picked me up, looking me dead in the face. It felt like he was Staring into my soul, even though he couldn't stare at all.

"But why not?"

"Because she won't let us see Sam and Dean if you tell, OK?" My eyes widened and I nodded really fast.

"Okay I won't tell, I swear!" I said seriously.

"I won't tell Gabe's mom either."

"Good." Dean said, and cas put me down. "Now, what did you come in here for?"

"Oh yeah," I smiled really wide, "We were wondering if you and cas had a brain connection thingy like me and Sam do." Cas and Dean exchanged looks.

"Well, Dean and I do share a profound bond, I guess." Cassie said smiling. Sam and I high fived again.

"Awesome!" We said in unison. Just more proof that we share a brain connection thingy!

"Gabe! Sam! Get down here if you wanna get ice cream!" Dad yelled from downstairs. Me and Sam shared a look before running out of the room

"ICE CREAM!"
