A dream is a wish apparently

06:19, 8 July 2016

I woke to the sound of soft singing. Wait, singing, what the..

"A dream is a wish your heart makes, when you're fast asleep." Oh my god, Dean was singing a Disney song. A Disney princess song.

"Good morning princess." I smirked, yawning. He stopped singing and cleared his throat making me snicker.

"Oh, uh, morning." He coughed, kissing my forehead. I smiled to myself.

"Don't let me stop you, your voice is pretty."

"You're gonna make me blush." He joked, pulling me closer to where he was sitting. It was silent for a few minutes as he played with my hair. I raised my eyebrows when he stayed quiet.

"I wasn't joking, keep singing, I like it." I said seriously, pulling myself into a sitting position. I kissed his cheek, wrapping my arms around his middle. "Come on, sing for me, I'll give you a seed."

"Don't quote Buffy at me."

"Fine."

"The same song or something different?"

"The same one." I whispered.

"If you insist." he chuckled, clearing his throat.

"In dreams you will lose your heartachewhatever you wish for you keep, Have faith in your dreams and somedayYour rainbow will come smiling throughNo matter how your heart is grieving, If you keep on believingThe dream that you wish will come true." He sang, stroking my hair.

"That was pretty," I said, yawning, "but why do you know that song?" I giggled.

"What can I say, me and Sammy love Disney." He replied, laughing.

"What time is it?" I asked, yawning again. I was extremely tired.

"One a.m."

"Really?"

"Yeah, I couldn't sleep."

"So you decided to sit here and sing Disney tunes?"

"Pretty much yeah." He yawned. So much yawning going on, geez.

"We should probably sleep."

"Yeah, but we're not going to, are we?"

"Probably not."

"Yeah...." I lay back down on the lumpy, yet somewhat comfortable mattress, Dean following in suit. I laid my head on his shoulder, kissing his neck softly.

"Goodnight Dean."

"But it's morning."

"Sweet dreams Dean."

"Sweet dreams Cas, love you."

"Love you too." I whispered
