JAERYEONG POV

"Kihyun, it's so hot..." Wonho said

"Yeah.. Can we go to the beach?" I.M asked

"The beach? Now?" Kihyun asked

"Of course now. It's 11:00am. Perfect time to go" I.M said

Kihyun sighed.

"As long as we come back here before 5pm" Kihyun said

5pm? Why 5pm?

"Fine but firstly I want to go shopping. Buy some souveniers and some swimming gear" Yura said

"I just need to buy shorts for swimming" Minhyuk said

"Same here" Wonho said

"Why don't you buy a shirt as well?" Dani asked

"I don't need a shirt" Wonho winked

Dani blushed..

"Get a room" I.M said

"If we're gonna go shopping, we have to go now" Kihyun said

"Why the rush? Just before 5pm right? We'll be fine" Wonho said

Kihyun looked at his watch.

"Just get ready at least" Kihyun said

We all bought ourselves swimming clothes and gears. Yura and Minhyuk went to go buy food while everyone else waited at the tables.

"Woah. We shopped for quite awhile.." I.M said

"1:20pm now.. We should eat quickly then head to the beach" Kihyun said

"Why are you rushing so much today? Is something planned at 5pm or something?" I.M asked

Kihyun didn't reply.

"Yah, this little....... I'm talking to you" I.M said

"I-I'll tell you later geez.." Kihyun said

"Why not tell us all?" I asked

"I can't. Well, not yet" Kihyun said

I stared at him suspiciously..

I want to know why...

"Is it related to why we came here in the first place?" I.M asked

Kihyun nodded slowly..

"Ah. I think I know your reason" Dani said

"Seriously? Tell me!" I.M said

Dani stared at I.M. He nodded back at her. They kept staring at each other like it's a contest.. Kihyun even joined..

What are they doing?

"Guys, what's with the staring?" I asked

"Telepathy. We're communicating to each other in our minds" Dani said

"Aww.. Let me in this" I said

"We can't" The 3 Demons said

"Yah. Why not?" I asked

Yura and Minhyuk returned with the food.

"We're back" Minhyuk said

I looked at Yura who seemed to be a bit occupied in her thoughts...

There she goes again.

I wonder what's in her mind.. I would like to help her sort out her thoughts since she looks very concerned about something..

I entered the waters with the girls..

"It'sssss sooooo hot here. I'm glad we're in the waters--" I said

"MWOH?! YOU DID WHAT?!" Dani exclaimed

I turned my attention to the sisters who are talking to each other.

"Shh! Keep your volume down" Yura said

The sisters continue to chat away.

What do I do?

I don't want to eavesdrop on their conversation..

I felt someone's arms around my hips.

Suddenly, I was lifted off the floor.

My eyes widened.

"Wow. You're actually quite light" Kihyun smiled as he carried me in his arms

I blushed.

"Y-YAH! Put me down!" I shouted

"Hahaha. Alright!" Kihyun said dropping me into the water

I fell into the water and got up to the surface.

"YAH! You wanna die?!" I exclaimed

"Mianhe. You're just fun to tease" Kihyun said, sticking his tongue out

Minhyuk flicked Kihyun's head.

"How rude. You're her boyfriend. You should treat her more nicely" Minhyuk said

"I don't want to hear that from you" Kihyun said

The two glared at each other..

Oh god.. What do I do now?

"G-Guys.." I said

Minhyuk looked at me.

"Oh. Stay still. There's something in your hair" Minhyuk said as he touched my hair

I felt someone pulling me back away from Minhyuk.

"Don't touch her" Kihyun and Yura said in unison

I realised Yura was grabbing Minhyuk's arm and Kihyun was holding onto me.

"O-Oh.. Mian" Yura said letting go of Minhyuk's arm.

Her face is red..

"I'm gonna go swim" Yura said diving into the waters

Minhyuk chuckled.

"I'll be back" Minhyuk said as he headed to where Yura dived

Kihyun slowly let go of me.

"U-Umm. Kihyun.. I think there's--" I said

"Something happening between those two... right?" Kihyun said

"Haha. You took the words right out of my mouth" I said

"Hey Jaeryeong, when it's 4:00pm let's go somewhere" Kihyun said

"Somewhere?" I asked

"Mhm. Together. Alone" Kihyun said

"A-Alone?" I said

Kihyun smiled.

"Alone" He repeated

"N-Neh... Sure" I said

No no no. Don't think wrong Jaeryeong.

It's not what you think it is.

You just... watch too many dramas.. Yeah..

That's probably why I'm thinking wrong. Yeah.. Must be.

"Let's go down here" Kihyun said

"O-Okay.." I said

W-Why are we in this area?

Why are we in the Hotel Districts?

"Pffft..." Kihyun laughed

"W-What?!" I asked

"Don't worry. I won't do that to you" Kihyun said

"W-Whaaat? I-I have no idea what you're talking about!" I said avoiding eye-contact

Crap. I forgot that he can read my mind.

How embarrassing...

Aishhh!! I can never hide anything from him!

"We're here" Kihyun said

I saw a restaurant..

"Ah. We came to eat?" I asked

"Neh. Of course" Kihyun said

"Why though?" I asked

"To celebrate 2 things" Kihyun said

"One: Our very first date" Kihyun said

First... Date.

I blushed all the way up to my ears..

"I-I didn't realise.." I said

"Haha kwenchana" Kihyun smiled

We walked into the restaurant and sat at a table.

Kihyun ordered food for the two of us.

"Kamsamnida" Kihyun said to the waitress who left with our orders

"So... What's number two?" I asked

"What do you mean?" Kihyun asked

"You said we came to eat to celebrate two things. You already told me what was number one. What's number two?" I asked

"That's a surprise" Kihyun smiled

"Aww.. Come on. Give me a hint!" I said

"It's something special that only happens once every year" Kihyun said

Once every year?

What could it be?

"Kumawo for today. The food was delicious" I said as I drank the tea

"Haha. That's good. Want to go now?" Kihyun asked

"Hmm? Go where?" I asked

"Hotel" Kihyun said

I choked on my drink.

"H-HOTEL?!" I exclaimed

"What? You think we came here just to eat?" Kihyun asked

"W-Well duh!" I said

"Hahaha. You freak out too much. I told you already didn't I? I won't do that to you" Kihyun said

"Then why are we going to a hotel?" I asked

"The second thing. Number two. You want to know what it is right?" Kihyun asked

Number two?

The second thing to celebrate...

"O-Okay then.. Let's go" I said

After paying, we left the restaurant and headed to a nearby hotel. Kihyun booked a room and told me to wait there which made me nervous.

What's going to happen...

I heard the door opening..

"K-Kihyun?" I called

The lights turned off.

My eyes widened.

I heard footsteps heading towards me..

"W-WHO'S THERE!" I shouted

I suddenly saw blue firelights floating in the darkness..

I saw the person in front of me holding a cake..

".....Kihyun?" I said

Kihyun smiled.

"Happy Birthday Jaeryeong" Kihyun said

My eyes widened..

Birthday?

AH. WAIT. WAS THAT TODAY? O.O

"Pfft. Can't believe you forgot" Kihyun laughed

"N-No way.. So this is the second thing?" I asked

Kihyun nodded.

"You like the lights? Although it's made out of blue fire, it can't burn you. It's also scented" Kihyun said

I could smell a distintive flower aroma emitting from the flames..

I touched the flame..

It felt incredibly warm..

"These are cool! I love it!" I smiled

"I'm glad. I made them using Demonian magic" Kihyun smiled

"So.. Where's my present?" I asked

"Present? Oh..." Kihyun said as he placed the cake down onto the table

"I forgot to get you a present" Kihyun added

"How could you leave the best part of the birthday out?" I pouted

"Hahaha. Actually, I think I know a perfect present for you" Kihyun said

"Really? What is it?" I asked

"Right here" Kihyun said as he grabbed my hands

"Huh? Right... here?" I asked

Kihyun bended down on one knee and kissed the back of my hand.

"I'll give myself to you. How about that?" Kihyun asked
