KIHYUN POV

I walked on the ashphalt and kicked rocks.

I sighed.

"I seriously can't leave my contractor.." I said as I looked at the UNI (Yes, he's still at school but somewhere else)

I turned myself invisible and floated to Jaeryeong's class.

I watched Jaeryeong from outside..

Hmm? She doesn't seem to be concentrating much..

[What do I do... What if Kihyun hates me now?]

Her thoughts again..

[I need to apologise... Maybe I should buy him a phone while I'm at it]

Pfft.

Was the conversation before bothering her that much?

Yes, it did hurt me..

But it didn't affect me that much.

Humans.. they worry too much..

I sighed as I watched her..

I heard the bell chiming..

Home time! Finally!

Hmm.. and about her..

What should I do to cheer her up?

Hmm.. I don't know these stuff.. maybe I should go research.

I ran back to my apartment and entered my room.

"KIHYUN?" I called

...No response..

I looked around, checking every room..

He's... not here..

"Where... did you go.. Kihyun?" I asked

[Omma... Where are you Omma?]

My eyes widened.

No.. Not that again!

I sat down, holding my head in pain...

I shutted my eyes tightly..

[Omma... Appa.... Where are you?]

Shut up! SHUT UP!

I don't wanna hear anymore..

"Kwenchana?"

My eyes widened.

I looked up and saw Kihyun..

"Why are you cryi--" Kihyun asked

I ran up to him and hugged him.

"Woah! What the--" Kihyun said

"Pabo! If you're gonna go somewhere, tell me beforehand!" I shouted

"I.. just went to the store to read some books.. and I got one! Look!" Kihyun said showing me a phone

"H-HOW?! Did you steal--" I asked

"Aniyo.... I bought it" Kihyun said

"Where did you get the money?" I asked

"...I have connections" Kihyun said

"Geez... next time leave a note or something" I said

"Well I don't need to do that anymore since I have a phone now" Kihyun said

He took my phone out of my pocket and used it.

"Y-Yah!" I said

"Done! Contact added!" Kihyun smiled

"Okay, now give me back my phone" I said

"....Alright" Kihyun said giving it to me

I immediately wiped my tears.

"You shouldn't cry.. Not good for your eyes.." Kihyun said

"Oh yeah! Mianhe! For today.. What I said was... harsh" I said

"Kwenchana. I wasn't really hurt by that" Kihyun said

"You... weren't?" I asked

"Nope but just asking... Would you be my friend.. even after our contract is over?" Kihyun asked

"Sure" I smiled

Kihyun hugged me.

"Kumawo Jaeryeong" Kihyun said

I stared at Kihyun..

"What's wrong?" Kihyun asked

Kihyun stared then laughed.

"W-What! Why are you laughing?!" I asked

"Can't believe you kept track of that! How cute" Kihyun smiled

I blushed.

"Hmph! I just... only realised. As if I kept track of it" I said

"Whatever you say~" Kihyun cooed

"Sh-Shut up! Pabo!" I shouted

"Jaeryeong, cook me something" Kihyun said looking at me with puppy eyes

"...Alright. We're having chicken and chips today" I said

"Yay!!" Kihyun cheered

KIHYUN POV

After a long yummy meal, I felt tired..

Maybe I should shower.. To refresh myself..

"I'll go shower first" I said

"Neh. Here, use these" Jaeryeong said handing me something

Men.. clothing..

"Who are these?" I asked

"...Hmm. Not sure. I don't remember" Jaeryeong said

I went inside the bathroom, into the shower and turned on the water.

Those clothes..

Could they belong to..

that guy? Minhyuk?

I took her phone from her pocket.

I turned on the phone...

and saw a picture of Jaeryeong and Minhyuk..

I got out of the shower and saw Jaeryeong sleeping on the couch..

Her stomach's showing..

How lady-like...

I pulled down her shirt then saw her phone on the table..

I took it and looked through..

I saw many photos of them being together smiling..

Tch... Why do I feel so pissed looking at this?

I noticed their messages..

"It's Over?" I read

Ohh.. they must have broke up..

Wait, that day.. was the day she summoned me..

OH.. Wait... I get it now..

What she sacrificed...

"KIHYUN YOU ANNOying little devil...." Jaeryeong shouted which made me jumped from the sudden scare

Sleep Talk?

Wow... Scary...

At this rate... Jaeryeong might find out what she sacrifice.. and may.. be shocked from it..

I deleted all their messages and photos.

I noticed that his phone number isn't on there..

She deleted it perhaps?

I closed her phone and placed it on the table.

I stared at Jaeryeong..

What she sacrificed to me...

Her Emotion Love..

But that means she never experienced it.. Her love with Minhyuk..

She'll never be able to love him again..

But... other boys.. She can fall for..

Jaeryeong with another man...

I clenched my fists..

I'm never gonna let that happen.

I shook my head repeatedly.

I tapped Jaeryeong.

She slowly opened her eyes.

"Your turn to shower" I said

"Oh.. okay" Jaeryeong said as she got up

"Oh yeah! Tomorrow, we don't have UNI in the morning. It's at 2pm so wanna go out somewhere?" Jaeryeong asked

"S-Sure.." I said

Jaeryeong smiled.

"Alright then" She said as she entered the bathroom

I touched my chest..

That feeling again..

JAERYEONG POV

I blow dried my hair then brushed it.

I wonder where should we go tomorrow..

Wait... Just the two of us.. Right?

Doesn't that mean--Wait! Stop! Hold up. Kihyun might hear this.

"VERY SMART OF YOU!!" I heard Kihyun shouting

"KUMAWO!" I shouted back

Wait.. since when did I started losing my honorifics with Kihyun?

"I guess we're getting closer.." I said

I got out of the bathroom and entered my room.

I saw Kihyun in bed with the blanket..

"Yah.. if you have the blanket, where do I sleep?" I asked (Usually, I use the blanket as my mattress to sleep on)

"Hmm... Here. You can sleep with me" Kihyun said as he lifted the blanket, showing an empty spot next to him.

"Mwoh?! Sleep with you?" I exclaimed

"What's wrong with tha--Ohhh. Calm down. I won't do anything to you" Kihyun said

"I-I WASN'T THINKING THAT!" I shouted as I flushed red

"Hahaha. Come on in" Kihyun said patting the spot on the bed

I sighed.

I went under the blankets and faced the opposite way of Kihyun.

Why is my heart beating so fast..

I feel like it could pop any moment now..

At this rate.. I can't sleep..

"K-Kihyun, I think the floor is actually bette--" I said then noticed he's sleeping

....Wow.. you sure sleep very soundly..

"Demons are very deep sleepers.. so please stop thinking about things.. I can't sleep if you do" Kihyun said

"M-Mian!" I said

W-Wait! Doesn't that mean he heard what I thought before?

"Not all thoughts.. I don't hear them all" Kihyun mumbled

"Mianhe.. I disturbed you right?" I said

"Neh.... So go to sleep.. We have a big day tomorrow" Kihyun said

Oh right.. Tomorrow..

"Good night" I said
