Attack on Titan: Let's Be Brave Together

It was another day inside Wall Rose and Eren, Mikasa, and Kiyomi were searching all over for Armin. He wasn't anywhere inside the Private Quarters, training grounds, or anywhere the three ever finds Armin. He wasn't even at the Library! Where oh where could the blonde coconut be?

The three ask many people for word of Armin's whereabouts. One person had said they heard that Armin bought himself a house and was residing within it. Eren, Mikasa, and Kiyomi were in disbelief but sure enough, what the civilian said was true.

Armin had bought himself a very nice house. They knocked on the door and a voice Holland from behind it....

"Come in!"

The voice, it was undoubtedly Armin's! The trio rushes in to find Armin all smiley and cute while wearing an adorable kitty costume with his favorite futon blanket Bigbee draped over his head and shoulders.

"Hi guys!" Armin's greets his fellow friends casually. "Armin, what the heck is this?!" Spits out Eren, completely shocked and not sure where to even start.

"Huh? Oh, this is my new house I bought just the other day! You see, my strategies have been really paying off in the field, and some higher officers paid me a huge ransom for this place! It was so nice of them!" Armin explains, his smile not fading.

"Yeah, but do we really ever have much time to stick around at one place? Armin, what about the bills for this place?"

"Oh, don't worry about that Eren! Those higher officers paid up my house bills in full once I told them about how I used the money they gave me."

"Seriously?! But shouldn't you be instead using up your money for something more important like...tools or needs for our future expeditions beyond the Walls?!"

"Nope, I don't have to worry about that anymore Eren. Because I'm no longer a soldier!" Beams Armin.

"Y-Your...Your no longer a WHAAAAT?!!" Everyone nearly screams their heads off upon hearing what Armin just said.

"And Eren, Mikasa, and Kiyomi, you all should really consider doing the same. Move in with me! We'll be like a family!"

"But weir already a Family." Mikasa spoke up. "Oh, your right Mikasa! But...let's just, erm...move in together! Pretty please?"

"Armin..." Eren starts. "Basically what your asking us to do is to give up on our dreams and to live and cower behind these Walls while only eating and sleeping when countless soldiers sacrifices their lives for us." Eren states with a blank but cold expression clear on his face.

"Wha-- but...I....You..."

"I'm sorry Armin, but I can't do this. I hope you change your mind and come crawling back to be a soldier. Or else, you've officially broken our promise." Eren turns his back on Armin and leaves.

"E-Eren, wait!!" Cries out Armin before reaching out a hand for his best friend who was now leaving.

"I'm sorry." Bids Mikasa apologetically. "Wherever Eren goes, I go. But if you wish to settle yourself down for a peaceful life, I can't stop you. The choice is yours to make."

Both Eren and Mikasa were both out of site. They had went out the door to be on their way. The only one who was left, was Kiyomi. Eren may had turned out being quite angry about this change in Armin's decision in what he said antd to do with his life, but Kiyomi wasn't. She was more puzzled than anything.

"Kiyomi...? Aren't you going to be going out the door too?" Armin ask, unsure as to why she has yet to leave and why she's still here.

"Armin...are you sure about this? What about your dream to explore the world beyond the Walls? We...we were going to see the Ocean together, weren't we? You, me, Eren, and Mikasa...?"

"O-Of course! But....but...think of this as...a vacation!" What Armin said next, only causes Kiyomi to become even more confused than she already was.

"A...vacation? Don't you mean...a permanent vacation?"

"Y--n...yes...." Armin bows his head in shame. "But why, Armin? You were so determined and dedicated into the cause of helping bring Humanity ever-closer to peace beyond the Walls. In wiping the Titans out. So why?"

"I...I...I'm just....I'M SCARED, OKAY?!! WAAAAAUGH!!!!!" Armin immediately begins to burst out crying and bawling like a baby.

"I-I...I can't do this anymore!! The Titans are too scary! Can't you stay here with me, Kiyomi? You can play housewife while I play, erm...me."

"B-But....I've trained for well, three or four years to join the Scouts so I could see all those things beyond the Walls you told me stories about! I can't just....turn my back and abandon everything I've worked so hard for."

"I-I see...." Armin lowers his gaze from Kiyomi's, and tears could be seen forming in the blonde's ocean blue eyes.

Seeing Armin look so hurt pained Kiyomi. Without wasting another second, she wrapped her arms around Armin and holds him close and shushes his sobs and whispers...

"It's okay Armin, it's going to be alright. I promise. I understand the Titans are scary, but life is all about taking risk. Your dreams won't come true if you don't ever try to make it happen. Waiting around and hiding won't help anything. I swear I will protect you. I know that's usually the last thing you want, to be protected, but please for once let me. If your scared, I will comfort you. if you lose the will to fight, I will fight for you. Please don't leave everything behind by cowering in this house. Hiding won't keep the Titans from breaching the Walls. Please...come back."

"O-Okay..." Armin ends up agreeing towards the end and it seems everything is settled now. "But...if you ever lose your courage to the Titans, please give me a turn in protecting you." Armin shyly ask.

"Of course! We'll be brave together Armin. And we can have each other's backs and help keep each other alive. That's a promise!"
