Attack on Titan: The World Is A Beautiful Place Because Your In It

It was another day in the universe of Attack on Titan. It was a freezing November day, and today really wasn't the greatest day for Kiyomi.

She's been having to go out in the freezing cold several times, and everything she says to anyone seems to offend them without a good reason.

And Kiyomi by nature, is not a mean person. She was friendly and kind and tried to be just that to everyone, even if it was someone she didn't like. Doing this made her life easier, resulting with less drama.

It was only 5:30 pm and she was nearing her limit. Sooner or later, she was going to become cranky!

And to make matters worse, everyone around her was pressuring her like insane, and this wasn't helping.

Eventually it got so bad, she had to explode, and when she did, it wasn't a pretty sight. She darts off in tears as she begins to cry while everyone around her gave her disgusted looks saying things like, "She had no reason to be like that" or "Why can't she do her job right" and such.

At this point, Kiyomi was trying to hurry herself to the Private Quarters to hide her tears and cries from everyone. Nothing she ever did for these people ever seemed enough.

But as she ran, her vision fogged up from the tears settling in her eyelids and suddenly she finds herself bumping into someone.

She quickly stutters and a "Sorry" and was about to take another run for it before being grabbed by the arm. "Kiyomi, what's wrong?"

She turns around to see the one whom she bumped into a moment ago, and the one who stopped her by yanking back her arm was Armin Arlert. He was the last person she wanted to see however. Well... perhaps she would love to see him, but just not like this.

"K-Kiyomi, are you crying? What's wrong?"

Kiyomi stutters out another "Sorry" before breaking down crying. Armin holds her close as she sobbed into his chest. Sometimes it's usually better having it out than in.

Once Kiyomi calmed down, Armin brought Kiyomi somewhere to sit down and asked about what was wrong. She tells him everything.

"Sounds like you were having a pretty rough day. But it's cold out, let's get you someplace warm." Armin takes Kiyomi into the Mess Hall and grabs two mugs of hot cocoa. One for Him, and the other for Kiyomi.

They sat down at an empty table, and Kiyomi would blow at her Coco before taking little sips of it. "How is it, is it alright?" Armin wondered if Kiyomi was enjoying the coco.

Ever since Armin found Kiyomi, all he saw out of her were sad frowns and tears. But this time, when their gazes met once again, a frown was no longer there. But a smile, instead.

"It's good." She smiled weakly. Seeing her smile was all Armin wanted. He hated seeing her unhappy or hurt. So seeing her spirits lifting made Armin feel good.

They would talk for awhile before Kiyomi ended up returning to the Private quarters before taking a shower and switching to pajamas. With that being done with she crawled into bed and went straight to sleep.

There are good days, and there are bad days. But Armin always seemed to brighten her day whenever things went bad. Because of this, waking up, getting out of bed each morning and moving back into the cruel world was all worth it.

The world is a dark, cold, and cruel place. But it is also beautiful.... because he is in it.
