Attack on Titan: Trainee Days - Part 13

For twenty more days it was the same. We would be having intense training from out Instructor Keith. But what we were unaware of…..was that we were going to have a NEW Instructor very soon.

On that day, our Instructor had everyone line up like we did when we first became tranies here. You know, when everyone would introduce themselves and when our Instructor would scream like heck at everyone and be really offensive.

“Attention!!”

Everyone regained posture if they weren't and stood up straighter giving full attention to their sensi.

“Today I’m gonna take a year of vacation and you all will have an even BETTER instructor than myself.”

???

“Your new instructor is no other than one of the members of the Scouts!!”

Eren’s eyes lit up and he began to smile wide as he became excited and curious as of who this person was. If they were in the Scouts, he can learn so much from them!

“So this is My last day training for you tranies. You have done well. So that means you will do even better for this new instructure, got it?!!”

Everyone saluted. “Yes sir!!”

“Alrighty then….your new instructor…..is one of the best members to the wings of freedom…!! LEVI ACKERMAN!!!”

Levi Ackerman came out in front for everyone to lay eyes on. Eren’s eyes lit up and grown so very wide as he stared at Levi in admiration.Eren's eyes were getting bloodshot. Oh gosh, is he mentally and physically ok?! S-Should I be worried…?

He was one of the best members in the Scouts.  And he was going to be our instructor! Everyone’s new Instructor!!

“SO SEE YA, FORMER STUDENTS!!!” shouted instructor Keith as he took off. He was holding a case and he wore a tropical T-Shirt and a beach hat? What the?! Does he want to get killed or eaten by Titans running Outside the Walls to the beach?!

“W-Wait!! I-Is sensi going to the beach? Where the Ocean is?!! I-I wanna--” Armin was cut off by a sharp and snarky cold voice disturbing the peace.

“BE QUIET!!” Levi suddenly shut Armin up.

“He’s a fool. Going Outside the Walls to the Beach. Does he even know where the Beach even is?! He’s gonna get eaten by a Titan. He will not be returning. And if he does, who knows HOW he will. It can't be possible to come back with just one suitcase. If you go Outside the Walls completely unprepared…..you're as good as dead.”Levi lectured everyone.

“You guys are the fools!! I’m not going unprepared! I got my gear and my swords out, you see?! I’m gonna risk my life going to the Beach!! See ya!!!” Instructor Keith suddenly returns out of the blue but leaves just as suddenly.

“Ah--!” Armin then closed his mouth as he fell in silence. He looked sad and disappointed. Is it because his dream is to see the Ocean and that's where Instructor Keith was on his way towards? He was going to see Armin’s dream without Armin being able to witness it?

I felt bad for Armin. But that's why from that moment on, I decided that I would protect Armin from the Titans once we begin to go Outside the Walls as Scouts to fight them.

I will not let Armin die. He has to reach the Beach…..he must see the Ocean. It’s been his dream since he was a kid. I will not let a Titan touch a finger on him. Or at least, I’ll try very hard.

I’ve never ever even seen an actual Titan before in My life. wait…..No, I have. I met Armin, Eren and Mikasa in Wall Maria. And I was there with them when they saw the Colossal Titan tower over the Wall. You know…..the Big Guy.

Once the Wall was destroyed, smaller Titans came on inside the Wall, once that big ugly skinless freak of a Titan  kicked a hole into the Wall and they began to swarm in and eat everyone one by one.

They did it out of enjoyment, out of pleasure.They don’t even NEED to eat us humans. They don’t need to devour a thing to survive. But they do it anyways.

But I survived the Titan attack, and so did Armin, Eren, and Mikasa. We all happened to enlist to join the Training cadet corps and here we are.

But I wonder….with a new Instructor will things be just as easy as before, or will things become harder?

“Now you brats better obey my every command. And when I tell you to do something, I'm not asking. It's an order. Understood?”

“Sir!!” Everyone salutes to Captain Levi.

“Hmph, training begins now.”

“This is so awesome...training instructed under Captain Levi, Humanity's strongest?! I'm in heaven!!” Squeals Eren excitedly.

This was going to be interesting, this much was for certain.
