Attack on Titan: Cursed Bugs / Armin x Reader

“UUUUUUUGH-!!!!!” I almost screamed in a mix of irritation and anger.

Lunch was over and everyone was leaving outside to fulfil whatever soldier aot duties they had.

Armin was about to leave but noticed me and my angered and irritated sounds.

He approaches me.

“(Name), are you alright?” He asks me.

“I really like the outdoors, but sometimes I just REALLY don't like the outdoors!”

Armin could tell from my expression, tone, and the way I was acting, that I was ticked off.

“Did something happen before lunch?” He ask me in a soft voice.

“It's the stupid bugs! I try to sit outside, draw in my notebook, but they won't stop trying to bite at me--!!”

“Did you put any bug spray on?”

…

“...No.” I replied.

“(Name), you should really consider putting some bug spray on before heading out.”

I sigh.

“I know, I know….its just,  I haven't had this problem in forever. Everyday before today, when I'd go outside, I wouldn't get bites. But now…”

“I can help you with the spray if you want.” Armin kindly offers.

“Thanks, buuuuuuuut…..I think I'm good in

here.”

“Common, (Name)! You can't just stay cooped up in the lunchroom for the rest of your life! Even if you waited til night, biting bugs will still be out. The only way to get out of here without getting any bites is to put on some spray.

I sigh.

“I guess….”

I had to agree with Armin. After all, what he said wasn't a lie. It was true.

“Here, spread your arms out like a butterfly.” He tells me.

I shyly done so and he takes one of my hands and sprays my arm. After the one arm, he takes my other hand and sprays the other side.

Soon after that, he sprays my legs and I became bugbite free.

“There you go! All good! No bug will bite you now.”

“Except you.” I joked.

“M-m-m…..m-m….ME?!!?!” He squealed.

Oops - bad joke.

“I-it's was a joke! A joke! A bad joke! S-sorry Armin! S-sorry-!” I apologised for the dumb joke I made… but after a few seconds….a chuckle came out from Armin's lips that curled up into a smile.

“(Name), you crack me up!”

“I'll help you go outside, ok?”

He takes my hand and leads me outside.

Like I'm not capable enough to take my own self outside? But I didn't care. And this honestly made me happy - since I was with Armin. I loved spending time with Armin….

Armin started to run with me and we started to head somewhere I had no idea where.

“A-armin?? Where are we going???” I ask him.

“You'll see!” He shoots me a luminous smile that causes me to blush on the outside and inside.

I find myself on top a hill with Armin. With countless flowers and--and--GRASS.

underneath the grass is sure to be bugs….

I'm sitting in the grass and Armin notices me staring at both the grass and my legs, and notices me guarding my own legs. I would swat my hands at any bug….whether it was bothering me or not.

Armin giggled before saying,

“(Name), I told you ; it'll be alright. No bugs can bite you now….except me.”

Out of nowhere and unexpectedly, Armin leans forward and gently nibbles on my earlobe.

Afterwards, both our faces are red.

But then, we began to giggle.

“You want to know something too, Armin?”

“What?”

“Even if you have your bug spray on, I'm still the only one that can bite you.”

With that being said, we couldn't help but burst into countless giggles as the day worn on.

“Curse the other bugs….only you can bite me.”
