" Chapter 21 - Lovely Night "

My fever came down after two days, all thanks to my friends who treated me yesterday. We were outside of the school right now waiting for our bus to take us to our destination. The teacher said that we need to stay with our group mates because the bus will came here in a minute. I haven't seen Lucas since morning, it's really weird because we're always walking to school together.

I sighed in exhaustion, when will the bus come!! My feet is now tired by just standing here in an hour!!

Tch... Saying that the bus will come in a minute... You. Big. Fat. Liars!!

I looked down to the ground avoiding the sun, then suddenly a cold water bottle appeared in front of me. I turned towards the person who was holding it.

"I thought that you must be thirsty," Kiel said.

"Thank you," I smiled and took the water bottle. It's cold!! Yay!

"By the way, where did you get this?" I asked, before drinking the water.

He pointed towards the gate behind us, "Over there."

I turned, ack! I can't see! There so many students!! Ugh... just because you are tall, you won't let us small people see! I gave up and turned back looking at the road. Ijekiel just laughed at me. Laugh all you want!

I'm not small!! It's just because you're so tall!!!

Five minutes had passed and thankfully the bus is now here!! Hooray!!! We sat on our seats by groups, I am now sitting beside Rina, talking about something, gossiping about someone and whatnot. We arrived at our destination about who knows how many hours we suffered in the bus. Everyone's so noisy! I can't even sleep in peace!

It was noon, and I am hungry so do the students, the teachers ordered us to get some vegetables at the garden.

These teachers.. They can do anything they want!!!

And yes.. there's a garden in the middle of the forest.. which is very weird.. Okay, moving on! We helped each other to make the best curry in the world!!! We ate our dinner, still in groups. I'm wondering which table is Lucas is, I really haven't seen him... I feel uncomfortable.

We volunteered to wash the dishes, well I don't have anything to do. Luckily I also saw my friends also volunteered. Instead of washing the dishes normally we played the dishes. Throwing some dish soaps, splashing waters on our faces. The teacher scolded us after and chased us out. We walk back to our tents to change our wet clothes then headed back to the campfire. We danced and sing happily around the huge bonfire.

I was resting on the log, watching them laugh as they dance around the bonfire. Then suddenly my eyes stopped, staring at the bonfire, I don't know why but I feel terrified as I look at the fire dancing along. Instead of the beautiful music, I heard the screams I heard from my dream. I was paralyzed as I realized that I'm not in the camp anymore.

W-where am I?

I flinched when I felt a pat on my shoulders. I immediately turned and fell off the log.

"I-I didn't mean to scare you..." Kiel said, backing away. I sighed in relief, I thought it was the rebels in my dreams.

After that nightmare, I've been imagining some weird and scary things just like what happened earlier. I shook my head as I processed myself.

"It's okay... What are you doing here anyway?" I sat back on the log, then he sat beside me.

"You look very pale, do you still have a fever?" He asked worriedly and held my forehead to check my temperature.

I shook his hand off and said, "I-I'm just tired.. I'm alright..." I smiled just to assure him. He sighed then ruffled my hair,"Just don't push yourself okay?"

I nodded, he's like a brother to me.

"We haven't talk in a very long time." He said suddenly.

"Yeah," I said. Ever since I met Lucas, we never really talk that much but he hanged out with Lucas a lot. I stared down at the ground, looking away from the fire. We just sat there talking and laughing at each other. I still feel uncomfortable not seeing Lucas today, maybe he stayed back to their tent.

I twist and turn in my sleeping bag, I can't sleep... I really want to sleep right now cause tomorrow will be very tiring but I can't. I sighed in annoyance and sat up. I got out of my sleeping bag and took a flashlight, I also put on Lucas' hoodie he gave me at the festival. I put on my shoes and got out of our tent looking left and right trying not to get caught by the teachers. I ran quietly towards the near lake beside the camp. I took off my shoes and ran to the waters.

"Haaaah, this is fun..." I muttered under my breath, splashing the waters with my feet.

"What are you doing?" I flinched.

I got caught!

I turned slowly with my eyes closed. I peeked slowly, and saw a familiar raven head I've been looking for, ever since morning. I thought I will never see you today!! I've been looking for you!!

"Come here!" I waved and splashed the water towards him. I saw him sighed and took off his shoes. He walked towards me lazily. This lazy butt..

I ran and jumped towards him attacking him in a hug. He staggered backwards when I hugged him. Then I immediately let go of him, "You jerk! You didn't walk with me in the morning, you didn't even talk to me at school, you didn't offered me a dance, you just left me sitting at the corner with a log!!!" I yelled at him, smacking his chest. He didn't tried to stop me and just stood there looking at me. I stopped, panting heavily, clenching his shirt, "Are you ignoring me....?" Does he not like me anymore? Is he gonna abandon me? Is he gonna break up with me?

He pushed me, his eyes widened, "No, no!! What are you talking about?!"

"Huh?"

He run his hands through his hair, "I'm just late, I overslept.."

"Huh?"

He continued, "I arrived here at the time everyone's dancing, then I unpack all of my things, after that you all went back to your tents, so..."

I narrowed my eyes at him, "You overslept... And didn't even texted me!"

"How can I text you when I am in a hurry?" He retorted.

"The--"

"WHO'S THERE?!"

We flinched, and ran to the huge boulder not too far from us. Lucas suddenly covered my mouth, I didn't even dared to speak, why are you even covering my mouth?! I heard the teacher walking towards us.

Our shoes!! Please don't let him go over there!!

"Hmm? I thought I heard someone.." The teacher muttered.

I heard him walk away. We sighed in relief.

"Mpphhm phmm!!" I wriggled in his grasp. Can you let me talk right now?!

He immediately let me go, "Sorry."

I just stared at him angrily, "I'm still angry at you..." I grumbled.

He hugged me from behind, "You sure?"

"What are you doing?" I stared at him at the corner of my eye.

"Hugging my suuuuper angry girlfriend," He shrugged.

"Still angry..." I look away.

"Then how about this..." He suddenly kissed my cheeks, "Still angry?"

Are you drunk right now?!

I felt a sudden chill then I struggled in his arms, "Okay, okay!! Let me go now."

He snuggled on my shoulder, "I don't want to."

I'm gonna smack you right now!!!

I was about to smack this idiot behind me but he let go. I staggered forward, tripping on a rock, luckily Lucas caught me, "You're gonna get wet."

I sighed in relief, "Thank you."

He suddenly pulled me to his chest. What are you gonna do right now?!

"I missed you..." He whispered in my ear.

I laughed awkwardly, "What are you saying, we're just separated in almost a day."

"But still..." He did not continue.

I sighed then ruffled his raven hair with both hands, "You idiot."

He laugh lowly, "Who are you talking to?"

"You," I immediately answered without hesitation.

Woah, his hair is so.. Soft, I can't stop touching it. I feel so relaxed by just touching it. What shampoo did you use?!

I stared at his hair not stopping for caressing it. I look down to him. His eyes suddenly softened, I just stared at him. His crimson eyes reflecting at my sapphire ones.. I just realized that his eyes is so beautiful at night.

How can this guy be so perfect?!

My heart suddenly beats faster as Lucas' face came down to mine, I can almost smell his scent as he inclined his face towards mine. Then he kissed me softly. My heart pounded in my chest crazily, as my knees got weaker. His hands were on my hips, as his kisses went rough. My fingers dug through his hair, then he shuddered and there was a sound at the back of his throat, half growl, half moan. I immediately let go as I heard of what I just heard earlier that I can't even say it again!!

What did we just do?!

I'm sure that my face is red as tomato right now!!

"Why did you stop?" Lucas tilted his head, whispering.

"Uhh.. Ermmm..." I can't say anything after what happened just now.

"Hm?" He began to sniff my hair.

Are you a dog?!

I staggered backwards not looking him in the eyes, "I'm gonna go back to my tent.. G-good night!!" I ran back to the shore and put my shoes on then headed back to my tent.

I buried myself in my sleeping bag

Waaaaahhh!!!! That was so intense!!

I touched my lips unconsciously. His lips were so soft...

GAAAAAHHHH!!!!!! Stop it!!!!!!!
