4/Odd One Out

"Hey! Get off me!" Ran shouted as one of May's men tackled him from behind

You too got tackled by a man that was ordered by your twin sister.

"May? W-What is the meaning of this? Can you order them to let us go?" you asked, struggling to speak.

"Uhm.. no. I need you to come with me and as your twin sister, I know you won't obey me that easily. Drey, let's move." May said.

"Yes, m'lady. Hey, you! Follow me." Drey said.

"Yes, sir!" the man who's tackling Ran said.

"May! Listen to me! He's got nothing to do with this so let him go." you pleaded.

"Y/n, he needs me. Right? For the code." May said, eyeing Ran.

"So.. you were really gonna go to May without me." you said in a disappointed tone.

"Ms. Y/n.. it's not like that. I was gonna tell you but-" he was cut off by you.

"You're just the same as him. Old men.. they just keep hurting me both physically and mentally." you said, showing a broken smile at him.

Ran looked at you with a concerned expression.

May went in to hug you and said, "I'm sorry, little sis. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you."

"I don't need your apology. Where are you gonna take us anyway?" you asked.

"Right! I almost forgot. You'll see once we reach the place. I'm sure you'll like it." she said, smiling.

"Tada! Look, Y/n! It's everything you wanted. A soft cozy bed, a huge TV, and tiled floors!" May said in joy.

"How.. did you know about all this? It's like you were always there." you questioned.

"Don't mind the details, silly! I'm just happy that you're finally in my reach." she replied.

"You're so sweet, May. I never would have expected this." you responded, taking a seat on the bed.

"You know, you could order me anything you want like.. killing someone or.." May said, hovering her eyes to the side.

"Killing someone? Hmm.. well there is one that I must eliminate." you said.

"I'm always ready for service. So.. can you tell me about this person you want to kill?" your sister asked.

"It's someone I know and we just met recently and.." you said, fakely thinking.

"Just get straight to the point. It's that man, right? That damn spy." May said in anger.

"What? Ran? No! I'm not talking about him and what do you mean by spy?" you asked.

"Huh? Why don't you want me to kill him? Don't tell me you got attached to that.. man." May said, raising an eyebrow at you.

"Attached?! Of course not! I'm Y/n. I don't get attached to those types of people." you answered.

"You've gotten soft, little sis. Maybe.. a little too soft. Didn't you hate them with all your gut? He's not an exception." she said, pushing your limit.

"Shut. Up! How would you know all that?! You were never there by my side when I needed you the most! I turned out to be a big failure because of your absence in my damn life!" you shouted.

May covered her mouth, tears forming on her eyes. "That's.. not what I intended to do. Y/n.. you're not a failure."

"I said shut up! You don't get to judge how my feelings work! After that incident.. people gave me disgusting looks and they avoided me. Some even called me a monster." you said as you feel heavy.

"As a 13 year old, that Y/n just wanted someone to talk to, to feel warmth, to feel.. accepted and loved." you said, sobbing.

"Little sis, give me another chance to fill that hole in your heart. Y/n?" she said, showing a light smile.

You looked at her with your eyebrows furrowed and said, "No." then exited the room.

"No no no!" May shouted and started to wreck the whole room.

"M'lady??" Drey rushed inside the room to find May sitting on the ground.

"M'lady? Is everything alright?" he asked politely.

"Find her. Make it quick." May ordered her trusted servant.
