Chapter 3 : advice & heartbeak

Applejacks POV :I'm about to buck a tree when I hear somepony yellin my name it was rainbow dash I walked over to my rainbow haired friend " howdy rainbow whatcha need?" I asked " well I kinda need advice ya see I think pinkie pies avoiding me... and i don't know why " she explained "aw rainbow I'm sure she's not Tryin to avoid ya maybe she's just ..busy?" I replied trying to cheer her up "yea your right heh I guess I came here for nothin huh" she said kind of embarrassed  " well not really..Rainbow I haffta tell ya something"  "what is it aj" she questioned "well..I like you" I said with confidence staining my words. The cyan filly looked shocked and stayed like that for a good while "aj I had no idea.." I could tell by the looks shes givin me she was about to say something else "AJ..I'm sorry but I like somepony else..I hope you understand " those words hurt more then any physical pain I've experienced it was like somepony just punched me in the gut but I just started down blankly (I cry on the inside)  but despite my looks I was devastated.

Rainbows POV: I felt a wave of negative thoughts after I said that, I feel so bad.."maybe I should go.." I mumbled as I flew away I may have just lost a best friend.. or two.. thoughts rushed through my head as I flew to a cloud and laid down drifting off to sleep.
