Prologue

Finally, it was the day I left for California to visit El and Will.

To say that I'm excited would be an understatement.  I've been waiting for this since September. 

Of course, things were a lot different back then.  But I'm still excited to go.

By things being different, I mean El and I weren't together anymore.  We're still friends, obviously.  But we've both grown up so much and nothing is the same between us anymore.

I originally was going to California to spend time with her.  But we broke up a few months ago.  We both agreed that since the trip was planned anyway, I should still go to hangout with her and Will.

Will.

We haven't talked a lot since the move.  Whenever I wrote him a letter he rarely answered.  When he did answer it was a short-half paged answer.  I don't know if he's mad at me.  I hope he's not.  According to El, he's just focusing on school right now. 

I miss talking to him.  The summer before he left wasn't great.  I can't help but think that he doesn't want to be friends anymore.

Hopefully this week isn't awkward.
