Welcome to Charming

So after going to the bank to close out my account, and a new haircut and clothes it was off to my final destination but still no clue where. Come to think about it I did love when me and my parents would go to California, especially when we went to the Bay Area. Go California here I come. So along the way I picked up a prepaid phone so I could call my Uncle, and threw away my old phone.

So along the way to California of course I stopped along the way to enjoy the sites, eat and walk around. I bought prenatal vitamins to take as well. I want to make sure I take care of my little bean growing inside of me. Called my Uncle at every stop to tell him I was ok, and where I planned on moving to. He told me once I get settled and everything he would come visit me.

I loved the open road you can clear your mind and just think. Man all this time I was with that asshole and wondering why I stayed but at one time I did love Alex before the drinking started. Hanna stop thinking about him and focus on you and the baby.

So after a long trip finally reached California, so I stopped at a roadside diner and went inside. "Welcome to Darcy's Diner names Lucy, and I will be your server today." "To start my I please get a Mt. Dew and just a menu please and thank you."

So she got my drink and menu and I started looking through it. Just then my phone rang, "Hey Ken doll what's up?"  "Little Bear just calling to check up you. How are you doing?"  " I am good, just stopped to get something to eat and rest, made it to California, hopefully on the road I will find where I want to live." "Good Little Bear, glad you are ok, and are resting. Let me know when you find a place to live, I love you little bear, be good." "I will and I love you too Ken doll." I hung up the phone, ordered my food and just relaxed. I looked up at the wall and seen a map of California and started thinking where would I go.

So after I ate and paid my bill I left and got into my car. The sun was shining and the birds were singing and I felt at peace for the first time in a long time. Wow spring time in California is beautiful, glad I get to see this, I mean it's not exactly like Georgia but it is beautiful.

Driving down the road I see a sign "Welcome to Charming" the name says it all, well maybe this town has potential. I continue down the road til I come to the center of town. The streets were bustling with people going in and out of shops.I decided to pull over and stretch, started walking around until I bumped into someone.

"Oh my God, I am so sorry I wasn't paying attention, just taking in the sites. Not from around here, names Hannah." I stick my hand out to the gentleman. "Chief Wayne Unser, it's ok Hannah, by your accent I can tell and also I know everyone around here being a small town and all." He let out a small chuckle. "I guess I stick out like a sore thumb lol. Originally from Savannah, Georgia decided I needed a change." " I can imagine, Charming is a good place to settle down and start over. Good place to raise a family." "I hope so, could I ask you a question? I was wondering where I could find the Realtors Office?" "Sure just walk to more doors down and it's right there." "Thanks Chief and thank you for the help." "Anytime sweetheart, Welcome to Charming."

So after the talk with the Chief I go into the Realtors Office and started talking to the lady. I told her what I was looking for and she showed me some listings and I picked the one I liked so she took me over to see it.

Let's just say I loved it and filled out the paperwork for the house. Once the papers are finalized it will be mine.
