"Elle?" it was just after two when Elle called Joe and he answered the call after the first ring. "Hey, babyyyyyyy" Elle giggled. "can you pick me up?" again she giggled. The alcohol was having a very big effect by now and she just felt good.

"On my way. Wait at the club until I text you, ok?" Joe didn't sound annoyed or pissed, though his girlfriend sounded way drunk. "See you in a bit, babyyyyyy" Elle giggled again and hung up.

She started saying goodbye to everyone. Overjoyed, she hugged everyone for quite a long time, even the whole camera crew, who seemed to be a bit overwhelmed with her affection. Just as she finished telling the cameraman how well he had done his job tonight, Joe's message came that he was waiting outside the door.

She threw herself into Celine's arms one last time, thanking her for a great night and kissing her on the cheek countless times before grabbing her things and leaving the club.

Immediately, the cold air of the October night in Cincinnati snaked around Elle's unclothed body parts, leaving goosebumps that immediately made her shiver. But when she saw Joe leaning against a house wall next to the entrance, staring at his cell phone, she forgot the cold for a moment.

"Babyyyyyy" she called happily, prancing over to him and falling around his neck. "Well, had a good night?" Joe asked as Elle gave him kisses all over his face before pressing a very special big smooch to his lips.

"Pretty great, but now I want to go home" she grinned and took his hand. "Parked a block away" Joe explained and walked off. Elle sighed, "That far? I'm cold and my feet hurt" she grumbled and pushed her lower lip forward.

"Why are you dressing so short too? You know it's cold" Joe sighed and took off his sweater, handing it to Elle. Grinning, she slipped into the much too large top that reached above her thigh.

"It's Halloween, that's the only night we women can walk around like whores without getting jugged" Elle explained, snuggling into the sweater that smelled so good like Joe.

"You quoted that from that movie, didn't you?" Joe asked, grinning. Elle shook her head and tapped her temple. "Came right from inside there" she grinned.

Joe nodded with a grin. "In your condition you'd still claim the Declaration of Independence is yours too" he replied laughing. "Oh come on, Lin Manuel Miranda wrote that one" Elle clarified. "Almost, Elle, almost" Joe mumbled amusedly and unlocked his car they had arrived at by now.

"I'm warm" Elle sighed as they drove through Cincinnati's streets and pulled Joe's sweater back off before turning to him and smirked. "I have an idea what we can do" seductively she ran her hand down his thigh to his crotch.

"Elle, stop. I'm driving" Joe took one hand off the steering wheel and took Elle's hand off his thigh without taking his eyes off the road. "Jeez" pouting Elle crossed her arms in front of her chest and pulled a pout.

Joe just shook his head and turned on the radio. "...And now for all the listeners who are still awake and listening to us, Britney Spears with Hit me baby on more time" The host said straight through.

Excited Elle sat up and turned the music louder. "I love this song" she squealed before singing along loudly to the lyrics. Joe could only shake his head with a grin. Drunk Elle was kind of amusing.

After more karaoke from Elle, including good 4 u by Olivia Rodrigo, they arrived at Joe's house. Elle, who had taken off her overknees in the meantime, skipped barefoot to the front door while Joe grinned and carried her shoes behind her.

When he arrived at the door she stood directly in front of him while he tried to unlock it. "Now you're not driving" she winked at him with a grin and ran her hand down his chest further over his stomach to the waistband of his sweatpants.

"Elle, no" Joe sighed "come on, why not?" Elle grinned at him and ran her hand over the waistband of his pants. sighing, Joe unlocked the door and nodded into the house.

Elle turned and beaming discovered Ja'Marr, Sam, Tee and Joe Mixon sitting on the couch staring at her. "Hey, boys" immediately she ran to the couch and pulled one by one into a hug.

"Is she...?" Ja'Marr asked Joe with a grin. "Drunk? Absolutely" Joe finished his question laughing. Ja'Marr grinned and turned back to Elle. "Elle, girl, nice outfit by the way. How was your night?"

"Totally great. Super great. You should have been there" sighing, Elle dropped into the empty seat next to Sam. "I'm glad to hear that, Elle. That's great" Ja'Marr grinned.

"Elle, don't you think you'd better get to bed?" Joe asked, sighing when Elle made no semblance of going upstairs. "Why? Don't you want me at your boys' round? Am I embarrassing you?" she asked indignantly.

"Yeah, why? We want her with us" Ja'Marr added with a grin. "Ja'Marr, shut up, you're not helping" Joe gave his friend an annoyed look before turning back to Elle. "No, you're not embarrassing me and I'd love to have you here, but you have to work tomorrow and it's late" Joe explained.

"But you guys have to work too" Elle replied. "Yeah, but we don't have to sleep off a bender. So, chop, you're going to bed" Sighing, Elle got up. "Alright, you're right. Good night guys" she waved to the others before running up the stairs.

"I'll follow her for a minute and make sure she actually goes to bed, ok? Be right back" Joe explained to the guys before running after Elle.

Not ten minutes later, Elle suddenly came skipping back down the stairs. "Elle, where's your fancy costume?" Ja'Marr asked with a grin, pointing to the way-too-big shirt of Joe's that Elle was now wearing. Her hair was tied in a wild chignon at the nape of her neck, and she appeared to have taken off her makeup. There was a big smile on her lips.

"Took it off. Would be uncomfortable to sleep" she shrugged, going into the kitchen and filling a glass with water before sitting back down on the couch next to Sam.

"Where's Joe? Wasn't he supposed to be tucking you in?" Ja'Marr asked, amused. Elle shrugged as she drained the glass rather quickly. "He's upstairs" she added.

"And you're not supposed to go back up?" Elle shook her head. "I wanted to chat with you guys some more" "and Joe stays upstairs until you're done chatting?" Elle nodded.

Suddenly Ja'Marr's cell phone rang. "Why is Joe calling me?" he asked, confused, while Elle jumped up, startled, and grabbed Ja'Marr's phone. "Don't answer it!" she shouted, but Ja'Marr was just able to save his phone from Elle's attack and took the call.

"Joe?" "tell me, are you deaf?" Joe groaned in annoyance. "Why?" "Because I've been shouting for you guys for five minutes" "dude, you're a floor above us, why don't you come down?" Ja'Marr asked laughing. Joe sighed, which made Ja'Marr bristle. "Why don't you come down?" he asked again, but a little more worried.

"Elle handcuffed me to the bed with the handcuffs from her costume" Joe sighed as Ja'Marr let out a loud snort. "No she didn't" "yes she did and I can't break these fucking plastic things without maybe breaking my bed, so would you be so kind as to come help me?" "on my way bro" grinning Ja'Marr hung up.

Together with Ja'Marr's help, Joe finally made it out of the handcuffs, though he would have loved to punch Ja'Marr in the face after he was released, since he had to take pictures before helping Joe, but it was more important now that Elle would finally go to bed.

A little annoyed, he ran down the stairs. "Where is she?" he asked the rest of the guys on the couch, but only got a quiet "sshhh" back. Questioning, he looked at Sam, who was grinning and pointing next to him.

There lay Elle. She had grabbed one of the big couch cushions, held it tightly in her arms and was fast asleep. "Finally" Joe muttered, walking over to the couch and very carefully picking his girlfriend up in his arms.

As he carried her upstairs and slowly and gently laid her in bed, Elle babbled a few unintelligible words in her sleep. Joe pressed another kiss to her forehead, whereupon she sighed sweetly and snuggled against the covers before he turned off the light and took one last look at Elle. Somehow she was cute now that she was finally asleep.

Turns about that my test was positive, I have Covid but thanks for all the get well wishes in the comments and per dm, I appreciate it. I can finally take some more time to continue to write the story since I have A LOT of time now hahaha

The last two chapters/ the halloween party will lead to the new main story of this book so what do you think will happen?
