Chapter 17: GIVE ME BACK MY POKEMON!

(Angel's Pov)

I fluttered my eyes open to the sun shining through the hotel window and a pair of arms around my waist. I smiled tiredly and snuggled against Clemont's chest and yawned tiredly just wanting to stay in his arms forever but unfortunately we couldn't. I groaned a bit and sighed as I sat up and rubbed my face tiredly. I stretched a bit and yawned as I looked to see it was a little after 9am.

I yawned again before looking over to see Clemont was still peacefully sleeping. I saw my pokemon were still asleep as well which made me giggle softly as I carefully got out of Clemont's arms and quietly headed out of the hotel room and down to the kitchen for some coffee.

I looked to see the others were awake and just chatting which made me smile softly "good morning" I greeted, they smiled "Morning" They said back, I grabbed 2 mugs and poured me and Clemont coffee before heading back up to our hotel room. I looked to see Clemont was still sleeping which made me giggle softly.

I sipped my coffee and set the cups on the nightstand before straddling his waist. I grabbed his glasses from the nightstand and put them on before pampering his face with kisses. He chuckled a bit and stirred before fluttering his beautiful blue eyes open. He ran his hands up my thighs, lower back and ass which made me blush and bit my lip slightly "Morning Love" I said, Clemont smiled tiredly, "Morning dear. Sleep well?" he asked, I giggled and nodded "always" I said taking off his glasses and putting them on him.

He chuckled and sat up with me still on his lap. I reached over and grabbed our mugs from the nightstand, "I made us coffee" I said, he smiled "Why thank you my dear" he said, I blushed and smiled shyly "Are the others awake?" he asked, I nodded "In the kitchen" I said, he nodded "How are you feeling about today?" he asked, I let out a small sigh, "I don't know. Usually I'm not nervous because I've battled before but I don't know, I've seen Gym Battles before...it just feels kinda...pressured really" I said,

My heart couldn't help but pound a bit which made Clemont smile softly and rub my waist and back, "Don't be nervous dear, you're going to do great, I believe in you" He said, I blushed and smiled "Thanks" I whispered, he gave me a closed eye smile and nodded as I giggled and pressed my lips against his. Taken back by my action, he smiled and kissed back. It was short but sweet and passionate like always.

We pulled away, blushing and smiling as we enjoyed our coffee's and morning together. After that, I had to get dress if I wanted to train with Ash today. Once I finished my coffee, I got off of Clemont and searched through my bag for clothes to wear.

I smirked mischievously as I grabbed a pair of sporty shorts and a regular grey tanktop. I hopped out of Clemont's shirts knowing Clemont was watching but that was the plan. I giggled softly, put on the shorts and tanktop. I brushed my hair and put it in a high ponytail so I don't sweat. I grabbed my belt that had my pokeballs attached and put it around my waist "And done" I said crossing my arms a bit.

Clemont blushed and chuckled a bit "Looks great Dear, shall we go train?" He asked, I smiled and nodded as I took a few deep breaths trying not to panic and freak out. We both headed out of the hotel room and outside where the others were. I looked to see Bonny was playing with pokemon, Serena was grooming her pokemon under a tree while Ash was talking with her and Bonny, probably waiting for me to come and train with him.

We walked over to them "Morning guys" Clemont said, they smiled softly "Morning" they said, "Hey Angel ready for some training?" Ash smirked, I put a hand on my hip and smirked a bit "You know it" I said I threw out my other pokemon just because it was very nice out and they deserve some sunlight and fresh air.

Ash chuckled as we both stood a few feet away from each other and got in our battle stances. I took a few deep breaths, "This will be a 3 on 3 battle with Ash and Angel. The battle will end when 3 of their trainer's pokemon is unable to battle you guys ready?" Clemont asked being the referee. We nodded "Ready!" "Ready as can ever be" Me and Ash said smirking with determination "Alright Pikachu I choose you!" Ash shouted as Pikachu jumped out in front of him,

I smirked a bit "Liepard come on out and show your stuff!" I shouted as I threw out my Liepard, "Alright Angel you have the first move" Ash said, I nodded "Liepard Sucker-Punch let's go!" I shouted as Liepard attacked, "Pikachu Quick Attack!" Ash commanded as Pikachu landed the attack, both knocking each other back "Liepard Shadow-Ball go!" I commanded, "Pikachu Electroball!" Ash commanded as both pokemon landed the attack and canceled each other out creating a small explosion.

I bit my lip anxiously, "Dark Pulse!" "Thunderbolt!" Me and ash commanded as once again they canceled each other out. It's like we're both equally strong which is crazy to me because I'm not experienced like Ash is, "This shit is going nowhere alright Liepard Dark Pulse and Shadow-ball go!" I shouted as the Dark Pulse circled the Shadow-Ball creating an even stronger double attack move.

Ash was shocked and didn't do anything so it hit directly at Pikachu, knocking him back into a tree, fainting, "Pikachu is unable to battle, Liepard is the winner!" Clemont said, I winked at him which made him blush and smile softly, "Nice job Angel" Ash said, I crossed my arms proudly because I love how strong I am. I worked very, very hard to get to where I am "Alright Liepard return. Zoroark get out here and show us your stuff" I said returning Liepard and sending out Zoroark.

Ash nodded "Alright Pikachu, return. Talonflame I choose you!" Ash said as Pikachu sat with the others and sent out Talonflame "Alright Zoroark Pursuit go" I commanded, "Talonflame Brave-Bird" Ash commanded, Talonflame used Brave-bird and flew straight into Zoroark's Pursuit, knocking a hit "Zoroark! Are you okay?" I asked, he nodded and bounced right back up.

I smirked "Okay Zoroark Shadowball" I commanded, "Razor wind go!" Ash shouted, both pokemon landed the attack and canceled each other out which blew back in our faces "Zoroark Night-Daze!" I shouted, "Peck Talonflame let's go!" Ash shouted, both pokemon landed the attack and knocked each other back once more "ASH STOP BEING JUST AS STRONG AS ME!" I shouted, he laughed "Zoroark run and use Focus Blast!" I shouted, Ash didn't have time to use a move so Zoroark hit Talonflame which knocked him back,

He gasped a bit "AH Talonflame are you okay?" Ash asked, it was hurt but still able to battle "Dammit!" I shouted and rolled my eyes a bit "Talonflame Brave-Bird go!" Ash shouted, I stumbled on my words and forgot what to say so I didn't have time to react so Zoroark got knocked back, hit a tree and fainted "Zoroark is unable to battle Talonflame wins" Clemont announced,

I groaned a bit and rolled my eyes "Alright Zoroark return" I said sighing a bit as I rubbed my face anxiously "You're doing great dear" Clemont reassured me, I blushed and smiled softly "Alright Espurr I choose you!" I shouted this is the first time I was using a new pokemon I caught, how exciting!

I took a deep breath "Aright Espurr Psyshock" I commanded, "Razor wind let's go Talonflame!" Ash commanded, but before Talonflame could use an attack Espurrs Psyshock hit him and knocked him down "Woah you sure are strong aren't you Espurr" I said, she smiled at me, "Talonflame is unable to battle Espurr is the winner" Clemont announced,

I cheered a bit "Alright Ash it's 2 to one, this is your last pokemon" I said putting a hand on my hip. He smirked and threw out his Greninja, "Alright Espurr Psybeam!" I shouted, "Double Team Greninja!" Ash commanded; Espurr's Confusion only hit a handful of the double team Greninja. I rolled my eyes once more "Espurr Confusion let's go!" I shouted, she used confusion and hit the remaining Greninja and made him confused "Oh no Greninja!" Ash said,

I smirked and chuckled "Alright let's wrap this up Espurr Psybeam and Scratch!" I shouted, Espurr ran up and used Scratch while using Psybeam at the same time which was a direct hit, knocking Greninja right out, "Greninja is unable to battle, Espurr wins and that means the winner is Angel!" Clemont shouted,

Everyone cheered "FUCKING FINALLY!" I shouted as I sighed a bit in relief feeling my tense body finally relaxed...Who knew that would be so tense...Espurr ran and jumped in my arms cheering which made me giggle and smile "Awe you did so well Espurr" I said petting her head, she purred making me giggle as I set her down to play with the others.

I walked up to the others "Nice battle Ash" I said, he chuckled "You too, it's amazing how strong you are" He said, I blushed with embarrassment. Clemont wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed my head making me blush and smile "You did amazing" He said, I smiled softly "Thanks" I said pecking his cheek which made him blush a bit.

The others smiled "Are you ready for your first gym battle Angel?" Serena asked, "Sure am, I'm nervous though" I said leaning against Clemont a bit. The others chuckled a bit "Don't be, you're going to do great" Ash said, I took a few deep breaths and nodded. It was quiet for a moment, "Gourgeist Shadow-Ball!" I heard a familiar voice. The Shadow-ball hit the ground where we were and knocked us all back as fog and smoke went everywhere while we blasted different ways and landed on the ground,

*Enter rhymical Team Rocket Motto*

"TEAM ROCKET!" We all shouted as we got up and dusted ourselves off. We were fine, barely bruised but dirty thankfully. I clenched my fists tightly feeling the anger course through my veins after what they did last time they were here "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU GUYS WANT NOW! CAN'T YOU GIVE IT A REST!?" I shouted, they laughed "Hahaha no can do twerpette, not until we get that precious Yveltal of yours and sell it to the boss" Jessie said,

I grit my teeth angrily as my heart pounded with anger, "THAT'S NEVER GONNA HAPPEN!" I shouted, they smirked "Try again!" They shouted as Meowth pressed a button from his remote which shot out a metal box from their hot air balloon and captured all my pokemon. We all gasped as my heart pounded out of my chest "NO!!!" I shouted,

They laughed as they had no empathy for other people but their selfish selves, "GIVE ME BACK MY POKEMON!!" I shouted feeling my heart ache, they laughed some more "Pikachu Thunderbolt!" Ash said but right as Pikachu used thunderbolt on the cage it controlled an electric shock on my pokemon making them scream in pain.

My heart broke at the sight of them in pain, "STOP IT RIGHT NOW!" I shouted feeling the tears rise up in my eyes, "Hahahah you see Twerpette if you or any pokemon attack this here cage your pokemon will get a jolt of electricity" Jesse said, I only clenched my fists more probably drawing blood but not like that mattered right now.

Tears threatened to spill from my eyes "Well Toodaloo!" they said and flew off with my hurt pokemon. I breathed heavily as the tears fell from my face and my heart never stopped racing.I felt like I was going to be sick "SON OF A FUCKING BITCH!" I shouted as I punched the tree next to me just to get the anger out then collapsed to the floor holding my bruised fist.

Everyone rushed over to me as I choked on sobs "Angel don't worry we're going to get your pokemon back, promise" Ash said putting a hand on my shoulder. Clemont gently grabbed my fist and examined it "Come on lets treat this then we'll find your pokemon, promise" Clemont said caressing my cheek, I sniffled and nodded as I got up and headed inside to treat my injured fist.

After it was washed and wrapped up, we headed out to find my pokemon. We started walking through the forest where their balloon was headed "ARCANINE, ZORUA, GROWLITHE, ZORO!! PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP!" I shouted into the forest hoping they could hear me. I heard rustling around us as my family appeared right by my side, I collapsed to the ground again as they surrounded me like they've done for protection. I sniffled and choked on sobs "T-Team Rocket stole my p-pokemon and they're very hurt. W-we have to find them" I said as tears fell from my face once more.

They licked my face and barked a bit before nodding signaling that we were going to find my pokemon and rip Team Rocket to shreds. I got up and wiped my face "D-Do you think you can you sniff them out?" I asked, they nodded and went to work on finding my pokemon. They sniffed the ground and hoped that my pokemon dropped something to leave behind or simply their scent was strong enough for them to follow.

I tried so hard not to worry but these were my pokemon...my family, my babies...my everything...They took my family away from me...nobody does that to me...Ever 'Don't worry guys, I'll find you and save you, no matter what it takes' I thought to myself. I felt Clemont gently grab onto my not bandaged hand and give me a small smile "They'll be okay, we're going to find them, promise" He said kissing my temple, I nodded and sniffled a bit.

As we were walking however, I felt something fall from the sky. I looked up seeing the sky got gloomy and it started raining "Oh no it's raining; we need to find shelter for right now" Serena said taking out her pokedex to find the nearest shelter. My heart raced as I began to panic "NO we need to find my pokemon!" I shouted; the others frowned "Angel. I promise you that we will find your pokemon but we can't do that in this weather. I don't want you getting sick. Let's rest for now okay?" Clemont asked caressing my tear-stained cheeks. I blushed and huffed but agreed as we found a nearby cave deep enough to take shelter in. We all went in and sat down as the rain poured down. All of this reminds me when I first caught Yveltal...boy was that a rough time...I couldn't help but get up off the floor and walk out of the cave letting the cold, rainwater cast down on me.

*Flashback*

Upon starting my pokemon Journey. My Guardians allowed me to wander the city and capture some pokemon of my own. However, upon my search, I wandered off and managed to find a cave and well, me being me...wandered in the dark cave "Can someone shine some light?" I asked, my Rotom used Flash as he brightened up the place. I took a few deep breaths and looked around "Sure is creepy" I said, my pokemon nodded.

I heard a deep growl which made me jump a bit, "Rotom brighter please?" I asked, Rotom made it brighter as we looked to see this big black and red pokemon. I got out my pokedex and it said it was a Yveltal...THE LEGENDARY POKEMON!

My heart stopped "Y-Yveltal?" I stuttered, it growled angrily as I guess we woke up apparently woke it up and now it got mad. It got up standing at 19 feet tall. I gulped down the anxiety that coursed through my veins "I-I'm sorry" I whispered it used Hyperbeam at me which made me and my pokemon scream and fall to the ground.

I clenched my fists tightly "Might as well try and catch it" I said getting up and dusting myself off "Come on guys let's do this" I said with every ounce of determination left in me. Of course I wasn't going to let a chance like this slip by so I tried battling him and of course lost but that's not all that happened...

When I lost, I felt this huge pain in my chest like my heart felt like it was breaking. I suddenly felt this wave of sadness hit me as every memory, every painful thing I've been told and all the abuse and name calling I've endured came back...I didn't know why, I didn't know how, but I was sad and felt like a huge failure.

I collapsed to the floor and sobbed as hard as I possibly could, unable to stop. My weak pokemon surrounded me for comfort which made me whimper an I'm sorry even though I had no idea what I was apologizing for. But I cried and cried and couldn't stop no matter what...everything I've been holding onto was finally being let out and I wasn't even sure why but it needed to come out, it had to come out...so it did.

However, I don't know what Yveltal saw in me but he knew I was sad, depressed, lonely and hurt...I'm sure he too felt the same way because people in the past have treated him so horribly due to him being known as the Destruction Pokemon.

So, with whatever ounce of empathy he had, he not only lied down because he was so much bigger than I was, but he nuzzled against me to make me stop crying. I looked up at him with confusion until he screeched a bit and licked my face of tears. He then tapped my pokeball with his nose and stayed with me since.

I was confused but happy that I had caught him...or I guess he caught himself. Once the Pokeball stopped twitching, I let him out which made him screech and stretch his wings a bit. I smiled softly, "But why?" I asked, he nuzzled against my cheek and licked my tears away which made me giggle sadly.

He softly screeched once more "You felt sorry for me?" I asked, he nodded which made me sigh a bit "I feel sorry for me too. I don't know what's wrong with me that people just abandon me...I don't have any parents, my foster parents and siblings hated me, they called me names and abused me...I-I don't understand...why me?" I asked as my bottom lip quivered a bit.

Yveltal frowned and wrapped me up with his wings which made me smile softly. He screeched softly, "Y-you'll never leave me?" I repeated what he said which honestly made me want to cry more. I smiled softly and yawned tiredly feeling a sudden wave of fatigue hit. Yveltal nodded and nuzzled against me, keeping me nice and warm "Thank you, Yveltal" I whispered as I fluttered my eyes closed and fell asleep.

*End Of Flashback*

I didn't realize what happened until I felt someone's hand on my back "Angel?" I heard someone say snapping me from my thoughts. I let out a deep breath as I blinked a few times and looked to see I was not only soaking wet from the rain but shivering from the cold. I sniffled and looked to see Clemont was next to me.

He frowned and wrapped a blanket around me "are you okay?" he asked, my bottom lip quivered as I covered my face with my hands and sobbed. Clemont brought me in a hug as I buried my face in his chest and sobbed loudly. My heart raced, stomach churned and body trembled. Clemont walked me back to the cave and sat down with me on his lap.

He rubbed my back and shoulders to help warm me up and rocked us back and forth. I sniffled and sighed as I felt a sudden wave of fatigue hit. Clemont kissed my head which made me yawn a little, "Thank you. I love you" I whispered as I fluttered my eyes closed and fell asleep.

(Clemont's Pov)

During my time with Angel has been wonderful. Not to mention the secret intimate moments we have. Boy do I love those a lot too. I love how close we were getting and how far along we came as a couple and might I say, I am so very happy to have her in my life.

We were currently in Laverre City for Ash's gym battle, However, Angel decided to battle as well, boy were we excited for that. We all had a pretty normal day, Angel met up with her family again which seeing her happy warms my heart. While we were in Laverre City, we bought more supplies, Ash was training, Bonny was playing with other people's pokemon, Serena was grooming her pokemon and I of course was tinkering with some inventions which of course exploded in my face like always.

The next day Ash and Angel decided to train together for their gym battle. Angel was pretty nervous though; I mean it was going to be her first battle at an actual Gym but I have no doubt in my mind that she's going to win and do amazing. It was a very long and tough battle and through lots of complaining from Angel, she won. It was amazing how strong both Angel and Ash were but both were amazing.

However after that moment, Team Rocket came and took Angel's pokemon. They trapped them in this electric metal box that shocked them from whoever tried to tamper with it. Ash tried having Pikachu use thunderbolt but it only resorted into hurting Angel's pokemon. We all felt so bad and didn't know what to do so they took off with her pokemon. Angel screamed with anger and punched a tree before collapsing to the ground crying, we never felt so useless in our lives.

I bandaged up Angel's fist which wasn't badly damaged before we started heading towards the forest where they took her pokemon. Angel called out for her family which they appeared from the bushes; Angel told them what happened as they sniffed the ground to look for them.

After a while of searching, it started to get gloomy and rain so we had to take shelter. Of course Angel being caring and stubborn, wanted to look for her pokemon but I didn't want her to get sick from the rain so we took shelter in a nearby cave. However, Angel got up and walked out of the cave and stood there for a few moments.

We frowned a bit "Clemont what is Angel doing?" Bonny asked, I looked at Angel who was just standing outside not caring about how soaked she was getting, "I think she's just upset about losing her pokemon" I said, the others nodded as I got up, grabbed a blanket and walked out to see if she was okay...I knew she wasn't but I had to ask.

She blinked herself back to reality before choking on sobs. I wrapped the blanket around her as she hid in my chest and sobbed loudly. No one said anything as I walked her back to the cave so she wouldn't get sick. I sat down and pulled her on my lap rubbing her arms and back to warm her up seeing as she was soaked and her body was cold and trembling.

Suddenly she got tired and lied against me before yawing. She said, "Thank you, I love you" and eventually fell asleep. I looked over to see her pokemon fell asleep by us along with Bonny who was cuddled with her pokemon. Me, Ash and Serena chuckled softly "I guess we nap until the storm clears through" I said rubbing and kissing Angel's head.

The others yawned and nodded as we all lied down, curled around each other until the storm passes, I sighed a bit and held Angel tightly "No matter what happens, I'll always protect you. We'll find your pokemon and everything is going to be okay, I promise Angel" I whispered as I kissed her head.

She gripped my shirt and nuzzled her face in my chest which made me smile softly as I yawned and slowly fluttered my eyes closed and fell asleep as well...wherever her pokemon are now, I hope they're okay...we'll find you. Promise.
