chapter 4: your first date

The next morning

*namjoons pov*

I wake up and look at my phone for any new notifications I answer a few messages left from my mom and dad when I see am unexpected message...

Unknown-Hey you...I know who you are and where you live so if you dont stay away from y/n there will be consequences

I get out of bed and get changed into a white tshirt and black jeans and go to wake y/n up

It was my first weekend in the new dorm and i thought it would be fun to get to know y/n a little more...although I already knew enough about her to catch some feelings for her

I went to her room and started knocking on the door like I do in the morning to wake her up

*y/n's pov*

I open my eyes after hearing loud knocking at my door

Namjoon: "y/n it's time to wake up"I heard joonie say from outside the door

Y/n: "joonie 5 more minutes"

Namjoon: "if you dont wake up now I'm going to come in there and pick you up out of bed"

You suddenly sit up after what he said because you fell asleep in you underwear last night

Y/n: "ok ok I'm awake I'll be out in a minute let me just get changed"

You put this outfit on then go out to see what namjoon is doing

When you leave your room you see namjoon in the kitchen cleaning

You go up to him and hug him from behind still being a little sleepy

Y/n: "morning joonie"

Namjoon: "oh morning y/n"He said a little startled not expecting you to hug him

Namjoon: "oh urmm y/n I got this really weird text this morning and I was wondering if you knew anything about it"He showed you his phone as you read the text

Y/n: "oh its probably just jungkook I'll speak to him and see why he sent it to you"

Namjoon turned around and looked me in the eyes

Namjoon: "no y/n I'm not going to let you speak to him without me there I dont want him to hurt you ok"

Y/n: "o..oh ok"You look away since you felt your face starting to blush

*in y/n's mind*

Why does he make me feel like this...I haven't known him that long yet he makes me feel so shy

Namjoon: "so y/n what do you want to do today I thought it would be a good idea for us to hang out"

Y/n: "that sounds like alot of fun actually oh I know theres a new cafe that opened down the road and my friend told me the do amazing breakfasts why dont we go there"

Namjoon: "that sounds like an amazing idea...oh and urmm y/n"

Y/n: "yes joonie"You look at him quite worried since his face turned really serious

Namjoon: "c..can it please be a date"

Y/n: "o..oh urmm yes of course I can"

Namjoon: "wait really"He looked very shocked with you reply

Y/n: "yes joonie it can be a date"You hug him and kiss him on the cheek

You grab a small bag of the side of a chair and put your things in thereYou grab namjoons hand and you both start walking to the cafe

Weightier: "hi there may I take your orders"

Y/n: "urmm can I please have the blueberry pancakes"

Weightier: "or course you can miss and what would you like sir"

Namjoon: "I will have the same thank you"

Weightier: "ok and what drinks would you like"

Both y/n and namjoon: "urmm a coffee please"

Weightier: "ok that will be with you shortly"

She walks away and namjoon looks at you and smiles

Y/n: "are you ok? Why are you looking at me like that"

Namjoon was about to answer you but someone interrupted

Jungkook: "hey did you not get my text this morning I told you to stay away from her"

Y/n: "oh so it was you that sent him that text...jungkook how many time will I have to tell you I dont like you and I never will...now can you please go away and let me have a nice date with namjoon"

Namjoon looks and you surprised not expecting you to stick up for him

Jungkook: "date oh your on a 'date' why would a beautiful girl like you go on a date with a nerd"

Y/n: "because he is actually a nice person and he treats me with respect unlike you do"

Jungkook rolls his eyes and walks away heading towards the Gucci shop

Namjoon: "you know you dont need to stick up for me...I can do it myself"

Y/n: "I know you can but ii like to stick up for people I care about"

Namjoon smiles showing his cute little dimples

*magical time skip*

You had both just got back to the dorm after you amazing breakfast

Y/n: "omg my friend was right the food there was amazing"You open you bag looking for you keys in your bag

Namjoon: "are you looking for these"He said holding up your keys "you left you bag open and they fell out while we where walking back*

Y/n: "oh thank you joonie"

He hands you your keys and you let them both in your house

That's when he did something you really didn't expect....
