Chapter thirty five: Adrenaline

Raindrops began to trickle down onto the now glistening pavement as Evan lead me down a dark, isolated alleyway. The moonlight was the only visible light as the night got darker and more cold; but I didn't care as I had Evan.

Before I could gather my surroundings I was pushed harshly into a wall where my mouth was instantly attacked by Evan's. The way his mouth moved with mine was absolute bliss, I couldn't believe it had been seven years since I've kissed those perfect lips of his.

Pursing my lips together Evan and I exchanged a flirtatious look "nothing happened-

Bethany raised her eyebrows "you're both drenched. Nobody in their right minds would just stand outside catching up when there is a nice, warm club here"

Smugly Bethany passed me a drink "better start getting pissed before the night ends"

With that we all began drinking to our hearts content, Evan included as he downed some tequila. "You're mental for that" I stated grimly "straight tequila"

"Uh- I'm Evan fucking peters I can handle my drink unlike you" he mused as he continued to have another shot that was sat on the bar.

Bethany moved her lips towards my ear and whispered "want to hit another line?"

I looked to Evan apprehensively; unsure if he would be okay with me doing cocaine as it was so unlike me. "Come on" I whispered back

"Just heading to the ladies" Bethany said as she grabbed my wrist. This made Evan's facial expression contort into confusion. "Don't have too much fun without me. Women and their need to go in groups.."

As like before Bethany pushed us into a stall and began to make lines with her card, this time slightly thicker than before so we could get a better kick.

"Gosh this night has been insane" I said in awe. Genuinely I had never had so much adrenaline before, fucking in an alleyway and doing cocaine. Who even was I ?

"So, tell me. How was it?" Bethany asked with curiosity swarming her eyes "I want all the details"

Scoffing I turned to my line "oh baby he is more than cute"

With that I snorted the line, my hand going to my nose instantly to ease the burning. "Ahh there we go" I said with starry eyes, my whole body feeling like mush.

Bethany did her own line and then placed the almost empty baggy into her purse. "Wooo now let's go party and see your pretty boyfriend"

Looping our arms together we swayed out and saw Evan drinking all by his lonesome; it was actually adorable. "Ah fucking finally. Were you having a shit?" He chuckled which made me blush.

Bethany wiggled her brows "we just took the best cocaine ever-

Snapping a look towards Bethany I realised the cat was out the bag which only left one thing- Evan's reaction.

Evan screwed up his face "you did cocaine Maeve? That's so unlike you"

I wrapped an arm around his waist and rested into him "what can I say, I wanted to get shit faced so I did"

Evan sighed and ran a hand through his wet hair that was now almost dry. "Okay but where was my offer?"

Bethany perked up and so did I as we looked at one another "you want to try some too?"

Evan shrugged "I want what you're having so yeah I guess I do"

Bethany happily passed him the bag "there isn't much left but fill your boots"

Evan nodded eagerly and went into the toilets to take his line or two. I couldn't believe how much of a great night it's been; I just felt incredible. My heart yearned for Evan even more and I never wanted to let him go again.
