I looked to the ground and Colby giggled.

"What's wrong kitten, now you get to stay with me." he said patting my head.

"I hate you Colby." I said

"is that so?" Colby asked with an evil smirk.

"yes it is." I said

Colby threw me over his shoulders and marched me down the stairs He took a knife and put it to my neck.

"take it back." he said

"kill me." I said staring him in the eyes.

"oh, no kitten I'm not going to kill you just hurt you realy bad, unless you take it back." Colby said smirking.

I didn't say anything and he pushed the knife in my leg I screame din pain and Colby didn't even move.

"apologize kitten." Colby said

"I'm sorry Colby." I sobbed

Colby put the knife down and put alcohol on my leg I hissed in pain and my eyes were red from tears.

"hush kitten it's alright." Colby said pulling me into a hug. I didn't resist because I didn't want to find out what would happen if I did but I did not want to hug him. Colby let me go and then got me a glass of water which I gulped down in a split second I hadn't drunken anything in forever.

"Colby?" I asked

"yes kitten?" He asked washing some dishes.

"am I ever going to see my mom again?" I asked with a blank stare.

"no." Sam said walking into the kitchen.

I blinked back a couple of tears and put my cup down beside me looking down at my throbbing legs. I was trying so hard not to show how much it hurt. My eyes were red and puffy from all of the crying I had done. I heard a clanking of plates and then there was a waffle in front of me on a plate.

"eat." Colby said

"I'm not hungry." I said

"let's not have a repeat of yesterday hm?" Colby said patting my head.

I slowly ate the waffle and sat on the couch.

"Colby, why'd you take me?"  asked once more

"because your special I could feel it since I saw you, I need to protect you." Colby said

"why, from what?" I asked

"mad men." Jake said walking down the stairs.

"hypocrite." I muttered under my breath so only I could hear it. 

"your the mad man." Tara said scuffling Jake's hair.

I rolled my eyes and walked into Colby's room

I decided that I would read a book I found one so I read it but it was pretty short so I was pretty bored. 

"hey come down stairs." Brennen said

I rolled my eyes and followed him down the stairs. 

"is there somthing you wanted?" I asked annoyed 

"ya Colby said something about your leg." Brennen said

I frowned when I heard this. My leg had only jut stopped throbbing in pain.

"sit on the counter." Colby said not even looking up at me.

"but this is going to hurt." I said

"well we dont want it to get infected." Colby said

"okay I'm  like genuinely confused. " Kat said

Colby showed her the stab wound and she winced/

"that bad huh?" I asked

Colby poured alcohol on the wound and I hissed and grabbed on to the counter as tight as I could.

"how'd that even happen?" Jake asked

"she needed to learn a lesson." Colby said side eyeing me

"She must have really messed up." Jake said looking down at my leg.

My knuckles were white from gripping the counter top.

"it hurts doesn't it kitten?" Colby said grazing his fingers over my wound.

I bit down on my lip to keep from crying.

Colby just smiled evilly. 

"should have said please." HE said screwing the lid back on the alcohol. 

I stared at my feet.

"come with me kitten." Colby said putting his hand out

I jumped of the counter without  his help and I followed him up the stairs he pushed me into the bathroom and told me to take a shower. So I did I showered and got all of the dirty grossness from the house off me just to go back into it I found a razor in the shower tray and thought about making on long cut on my arm but I decided it would be too hard to hide and Colby would try to put rubbing alcohol on it. When I got out of the shower there was clothes waiting on the counter.

I got out of the bathroom and Sam was walking down the hall.

"Colby's in his room." Sam said

"then I'll stay out of there." I said walking towards the stairs.

Katrina was sitting at the bottom of the stairs on her phone.

I walked over to the couch and sat there and watched a movie with Brennen and Jake.

Jake was vaping which is absolutely disgusting.

He looked over at me and noticed I didn't like it he scooted a little closer and then blew it all over my face I coughed and waved my hand in front of my face to get rid of it. Jake giggled and went back to watching the movie. 

I decided I would go explore the house so I did I found and old room with a closet with many cubbys I hid in one and decided to stay hidden so that they thought I had escaped and they would look for me allowing me time to actually escape. My plan as fool proof so I hid and waited.
